"Location: A 3-minute walk from Sakae subway station, on the north side of the station. Shopping areas are all on the south side, just across the road. The 'little sister' district, as mentioned online, is just one street away from the hotel. Facilities: The decor is a bit old-school, but it's very clean. Front Desk: Check-in was very fast, and you can get toiletries for free. Room: Pretty standard, slightly larger than the average Japanese room. My small suitcase could be fully opened on the floor. Value for Money: Considering its location around the Sakae commercial district and decent ratings, this is definitely one of the viable options."

"The room had three single beds, which were quite comfortable. However, it was clear the triple room was originally a twin room with an added bed, not designed as a triple from the start, as it was so cramped there was no space to open our luggage. The view was excellent, which is definitely the highlight of this hotel. Being able to overlook the Nagoya night view and lying in bed watching the city lights was a real mood booster. There's a 'SPA room' at the hotel, but it's really just a public bath, and a very small one at that. There weren't even towels available, which made drying off inconvenient. There are no actual spa services; it's just a bathhouse. The restaurant is on the 18th floor (the lobby level) and also offers great views. Breakfast is a set meal (one dish per person) supplemented by a buffet of side dishes. The pastries were good. This Mitsui hotel is located in the Symphony Toyota Building. On the ground floor, just off the elevators, there's a door that leads directly to the underground mall. This underground passage connects all the shopping areas around Nagoya Station and also goes straight to Kintetsu and Meitetsu Nagoya Stations. It's much more convenient to use the underground path if you're heading to the station (be sure to ask the front desk for a paper map, as the wall maps don't have English, and it's easy to get lost underground if you can't read Katakana and go the wrong way)."

"Although the room size isn't huge, it's quite acceptable for a major city like Nagoya. Every day, after returning to the hotel, I could relax in the large public bath on the rooftop, which really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. Since I didn't use the room's bathroom, I put my suitcase in there, which effectively increased the usable space in the bedroom. Plus, the hotel provides DHC cosmetics for free, which is definitely a highlight. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sakae commercial district, Oasis 21, and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle is only about a 15-minute walk away. For dinner, if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 5 minutes, you'll find an underground shopping street beneath the Nagoya TV Tower with all sorts of restaurants and a food supermarket. There's also a convenient store right outside the hotel. While the breakfast selection isn't incredibly diverse, I particularly enjoyed the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and ramen. The staff were very enthusiastic. Choosing this hotel for my stay was definitely a smart decision."

"I like the location — it’s only 5 minutes to Sakae Station and 10 minutes to the airport limousine bus terminal (Oasis 21). There are lots of restaurants, 24/7 convenience stores, supermarkets, and even tax-free shops where you can find almost everything you need. From NGO Airport, you can take the limousine bus and get off at the Nagoya Tokyu Hotel stop — it’s just a 1-minute walk to the hotel. However, when going back to the airport, you need to take the bus from Oasis 21. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend walking on the street instead of using the subway route. The staff are generally good, but some are not very nice."

"Great location near Fushimi Station, easy for sightseeing. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good Wi-Fi. The public bath is a nice bonus after a long day. Breakfast has both　Japanese and Western options, simple but good. Staff are polite and helpful. Overall, a convenient and good-value stay in Nagoya."

"I really enjoyed my stay at VIA INN Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi! The location is excellent — it’s very close to Nagoya Station, just about a 10-minute walk away, so getting around the city is super convenient. There’s a Family Mart right downstairs and a Lawson within 3 minutes’ walk, which is very handy. The area also has plenty of great places to eat, including several ramen shops. One pleasant surprise was discovering a huge Aeon supermarket just a 10-minute walk away — and it’s open 24 hours! Perfect for grabbing late-night snacks or doing some quick shopping. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room felt cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended! 🌟"

"Perfect location, just a few meters away from Nagoya Station JR and last bus stops/unloading (tours and outside Nagoya trips). Food stores are also available surrounding the hotel and BiC Camera is also located across the street. Entrance to the Underground shopping center can also be found near the hotel entrance. The room is relatively clean and the staff are courteous. Only stayed for one night but I will definitely book the hotel again if I return to Nagoya."

"This hotel offers good value for money near Nagoya Station, and it's very close to the Shinkansen exit. The room size is standard, which is typical for small hotels in Japan. You pick up all your disposable amenities on the first floor. Besides common items like toothbrushes and combs, they also provide small packets of makeup remover, face wash, toner, and lotion, which is really convenient. It usually costs around 500-600 yen and includes breakfast. The breakfast has a good variety of options and tastes great too."

"The hotel's location is quite good; it's not far from the station or Sakae, and it's a relatively quiet area. There's a FamilyMart nearby, which is very convenient for shopping, and plenty of highly-rated restaurants, making dining very easy. The room size is decent for the price, offering good value for money, but it doesn't have a bathtub, which is quite unusual for Japan."

"If you're traveling for business, this hotel is a perfect choice. Not only is the location excellent, but the overall experience is also much better than the Sanco Inn Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi. The only minor drawback is that the view from the room window is blocked by the neighboring building's wall, allowing only a small gap for ventilation, so there's no outdoor scenery. However, this is actually a plus for those who don't like to close their curtains, as there's no need to worry about privacy."
