"To avoid the common Cancun scams, I booked a hotel right by the airport, within walking distance. Sure enough, no one answered the phone, so I just walked over with my suitcase, which only took about fifteen minutes. Hotel environment: Just like any other chain hotel. Service: Free printing was a nice touch. Airport distance: Within walking distance, which helped avoid all the bothersome touts and scammers that have unfortunately given Cancun a bad name. Even inside the airport, people were still aggressively asking which terminal you were going to. Environment: Average, suitable for a short, temporary stay. The bedding was clean. There's a bar on the first floor, which was lively with many people watching games. Overall, it was good. Recommended."

"The room is good, the hotel is right next to the road, a little noisy, the location is average, breakfast is very poor, the hotel's reservation says breakfast is included, but for a decent breakfast, there is an additional cost"

"Quite basic and nothing special... The only advantage is the location very close to the Airport.... The worst part was when the service manager started arguing with me (guest) for not wanting to give me bottled water... "My flight was delayed and changed multiple times, so I chose a hotel near the airport at the last minute. The free airport shuttle was a plus. The hotel was new, and the breakfast was okay, though not very varied. The only downside was that the hotel was so new and still had a smell of renovation."

"Be aware of this scam. Compare picture they posted on the official website and what we had ( pictures are added ). This is not at all what you would expect .Super dirty place with dim light in the room.. scary .. On the top of this they charge you more for the airport shuttle as it was discussed . I saved our conversation about the fee, agreed to it. The taxi came and charged us different price , after that hotel doesn’t respond.. I hope trip.com will take care of refund as they really good at customer support."

"Amazing all inclusive - modern, clean and well appointed.  We had excellent service - there was always someone asking us for drink orders, dining service was fantastic.  The only thing was that they were doing work on their beach so it was noisy and disruptive.  Loved their organized activities too - exercise classes, archery, cacao ceremony.  Best of all, room service was included."

"It's alright, nothing special. There's nothing around, but the good thing is they offer airport pick-up and drop-off. The hotel is quite large and the facilities are decent. Breakfast is rather basic, but for Mexico, it's considered good. Although the facilities are average, everything is acceptable."

"This will be the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and I will say that it's getting old. The resort has five pools that were all hot. The surrounding beach in the area is 20 ft deep and seaweed and you can't enter the water. Also if you can imagine the hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m. which screwed up my sleeping pattern for the day of checkout. What hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m.? By the way check in time isn't until 4:00. So if you're staying for one day you only get 18 hours of hotel. Some of the rooms are redone and some of the rooms have got the original flooring from when I stay there the first time around 25 years ago. My room had the original flooring. The first room that reception gave me was on the first floor at the absolute end of the resort. The room was run down and the floor looked like it was buckling a little . The second room reception gave me had a foul odor. Food and drinks at this hotel are extremely expensive. I want to say that a margarita is around 13 to 17 US dollars give me a break. Do not order an a la carte breakfast there because they pick it off the buffet and it's going to be cold. I want to say breakfast is 550 pesos a person. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. They don't offer cappuccino or lattes as a courtesy for breakfast. By the way it takes reception around 15 minutes per customer to check you in. I have stayed at this resort a total of four times and I would not go back. The beach is infested with seaweed farther than the eye can see there's no place swimmable by this resort. I would say it was quite disappointing. By the way they have a little market in the resort and a $6 bottle of champagne in Los Angeles cost $53 in their ghastly overpriced market. Very bad value for money. My third room was acceptable. I do have to say I think the rooms are big and the gentleman that checked me on did give me an upgrade to a balcony on the lagoon side so that was something. I paid a round $140 USD a night with tax and really it was a 85 US dollar hotel at best. It doesn't meet Westin standards. There was also an area with a little chip paint in my room but I'm probably being somewhat nitpicky. The light in the room is also not very bright and made it somewhat hard to read."

"The room as a whole is in line with this price level, and the food in the restaurant is not very good. The only thing is that I charged some extra tax when I went to the store. It was shown on Ctrip that it was more than 50 pesos, and I actually paid 150. I was too tired at the time and didn't realize it. Otherwise, I would have to ask him carefully. The accommodation tax in other places in Cancun is 60 pesos, and the room rate is more expensive than this one. It is Fairfield next to it. Even the hyatt hotel by the sea costs more than 4,000 pesos a night, and the tax is only more than 80 pesos."

"It is a nature-friendly place. While riding a bike around the hotel, I was able to meet various animals such as coatis, lizards, and iguanas. The beach right in front is beautiful, and there are many restaurants that serve delicious food, so I was happy while staying at the hotel."
