The ChaoKoh Phi Phi Hotel and Resort provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Phi Phi Islands will find that the ChaoKoh Phi Phi Hotel and Resort is a fantastic accommodation choice. Krabi International Airport is the closest major transportation option, approximately 46km away. Krabi International Airport is the closest option for those who prefer to fly, approximately 46km away. Guests will find Phi Phi Beach, Phi Phi Cabana Diving - scuba diving Phi Phi and Ao Ton Sai Pier just a short distance from the hotel. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. For guests traveling as a couple, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"I specifically came to Koh Phi Phi this time to experience the slow-paced island life of the locals, and I absolutely fell in love with this island! The little cats wandering everywhere on the streets were well-behaved and friendly, letting you pet them without fear. We randomly found a local travel agency and booked a pirate ship tour for 1800 Thai Baht, which was an amazing experience! We boarded at 12 PM and returned at 7 PM. This route only caters to island residents, so you don't have to deal with the large crowds from Phuket, making the experience completely different and much more comfortable. Compared to the bustling and noisy Phuket, Koh Phi Phi's overall atmosphere is much more relaxed. Instead of just recommending this hotel, I'd suggest that anyone visiting Phuket should definitely spend a night on Koh Phi Phi! The quality of hotels on the island doesn't vary much; generally, you get what you pay for. Accommodation is just a temporary stop; the true joy of Koh Phi Phi is never about the hotel itself. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing, and crowd-free vacation, then the northern part of Koh Phi Phi is highly recommended! The entire area is filled with high-end luxury hotels, most of which have private beaches, offering excellent privacy. Our stay this time was around Tonsai Pier, which is the most popular and lively core area of the island. You can choose between these two different vacation vibes according to your preference."

"This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island.   It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about.   The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need.  The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well.   The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees.   The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers.  Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh.  The bakery section in particular is excellent.  The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach.  Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am.   They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant.  Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested!  With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect.   We will be back i am sure"

"I arrived at Phi Phi by ferry from Phuket, and at the pier, someone was waiting with a sign bearing the hotel's name (he probably meets every ferry, as I didn't specify my arrival time). After a five-minute wait for all the tourists, we took a boat taxi to the hotel. They helped with the suitcases (loading them onto the boat), and the ride was about 5 minutes at most. Transfers to the hotel from the pier and back to the pier upon checkout are free. I received a room upgrade because my original room was occupied, but it was for the best. They gave me a spacious room, though it was at the very top. Getting there required some effort, walking uphill, but it's good to not just relax all the time! This was all compensated for by the amazing view of the pristine Long Beach. There's a steep path down to this beach right behind the building, but everyone uses it. The room was spotless, with 2 bottles of water daily, clean white linens, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a window overlooking the beach, and there was a hammock on the balcony. In the morning, a family of three monkeys visited me, so it's important to keep the doors closed and not leave things on the balcony. The baby monkey played with my swimsuit but must not have liked it, as he left it for me! It was beautiful; thinking back, I want to return. Breakfasts included scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, sausages, vegetables, bread, salad, pastries, fruits, and juices – pretty standard for Thailand, and everything was delicious. On the beach, there's sand, but to the left, there are rocks and corals. I snorkeled there (they provide masks, but I had my own). There were many fish of all sizes; the snorkeling was excellent. You can get to the pier by boat taxi, which costs 150 baht during the day and 250-300 baht after dark (you can haggle for the return trip at the pier). There's a 7/11 at the pier if you need to buy anything. In the evening, there's live music at the hotel restaurant, and on some days, they have fire shows. It's very quiet at the hotel in the evenings."

"The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and cheerful. They even have staff who help carry luggage from the pier. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend booking an inner room not facing the street, because the hotel is right in the center of Phi Phi. There's a 7-Eleven in front, and there might be noise from nearby bars. But overall, it's really great!"

"The location here is great… however we encountered a few problems. 1) the place is riddled with mosquitoes i walked away from 3 nights with 24 bites and they are big bites. I know this is not the properties fault but maybe making sure there’s no gaps in the door to allow ways in or shutting the patio door once cleaned rather than leaving with a gap. 2) the room are very outdated and a bit dirty, we had fresh mouldy bedding on one day after the cleaners 3) We were on the ground floor with a patio sliding door that didn’t lock…. Easily accessible for anybody to walk in and take things etc 4) The pool and location are both fantastic hut i feel for the money we paid this was a bit of a rip off and something you expect in the depths of Thailand."

Krabi International Airport is approximately 44km away by road. With multiple attractions nearby including Php Beach, Masjid Lohbakao Mosque | مسجد and Nui Beach, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"This hotel on Phi Phi Island was a fantastic stay overall. Each room is a standalone bungalow, and many have been recently renovated, giving them a fresh and stylish look that I really appreciated. With two beachfront pools, it truly feels like a perfect vacation getaway. I'd recommend staying for at least two nights, as getting here can be a bit of a journey – first a bus to the pier, then a speedboat for about 1.2 hours, which can be a bit of a hassle. So, definitely plan for a longer stay to make it worthwhile. The hotel is surrounded by a small village, making it convenient for dining and renting longtail boats. What's great is that it's not overly commercialized like Tonsai Pier; it has a wonderful secluded vibe, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I'd even say it's a great alternative to The Racha on Racha Island, which might be a bit pricier due to its closer proximity."

"Overall, we booked for 4 days but only stayed for one, not because of the hotel but because of the sea, as it was always low tide there. We moved to another beach, Long Beach, which is simply excellent. The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from the beach, amidst numerous stalls, shops, and bars. We had 4 rooms in total; generally, the rooms were clean, towels were clean, and toiletries like shampoo and shower gel were provided. The balconies were clean with ashtrays, and the bedding was good, spotless and clean. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. The pool was also clean and cool. We stayed in mid-March. The hotel is well-located, not far from the pier; we walked there easily with our suitcases and even stopped at a 7/12 (convenience store) along the way, as it's right next to the hotel."

"The biggest plus is the location. It's a 400m walk from the pier. The room is average, nothing fancy. Small but cozy. The bathroom is also tiny, you can't really move around if there are two people. The shower is just a hole, but there's hot water. It's a standard room. The grounds are beautiful. But the pool, that's just fantastic! There's a big pool and a smaller one for kids. The views from the pool out to the sea are also great."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

Amazing
GGuest UserOUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort left me with the exact emotions that make me want to return to Thailand again and again. From the very first moments, you feel the high level of service and an incredibly warm atmosphere. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Genuine smiles, attention to detail, and care in every interaction – this is what creates a true sense of hospitality. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and harmonious: well-maintained grounds, stylish architecture, and an atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion. They've managed to preserve the feeling of a tropical island while adding modern comfort and aesthetics. The restaurant deserves special mention. The service was superb – professional, attentive, and very pleasant. Every visit left nothing but positive impressions. The breakfasts were magnificent: a wide selection, fresh ingredients, excellent quality dishes, and very beautiful presentation. I particularly remember a dessert the chef prepared right in front of me. It was tiramisu – incredibly delicate, perfectly balanced, and, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. It was clear how much attention and love they put into even these small details. It's the people who make this place special. The entire staff creates an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care, making the vacation feel truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team at OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort for a wonderful experience and an unforgettable atmosphere. This is a place I truly want to return to.

GGuest UserThe room was super spacious, about 40 square meters, and the bathroom was also large, over 10 square meters. There were two balconies on each side, each nearly 10 square meters, offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views and the entire magnificent sea view. The mountain scenery was delightful. The cleanliness was excellent, and they even provided disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors, which is rare in Thailand. The stay was fantastic. The front desk lady was also very helpful, fluent in English, and spoke a little Chinese. We weren't charged extra for our child. I'm sure she'll be able to provide full Chinese service next time! We'll most likely choose this place again when we visit Koh Phi Phi. The kids' playground wasn't fully open, but the big slide looked great.

RRabiya73Great stay at Coco Bella hotel . The location is ideal if you enjoy nightlife and being close to the action, with plenty of restaurants, tours, massage places and activities within easy reach. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and quality. The pool area was also a highlight—very relaxing and well maintained. We stayed in a pool access room, which was fantastic and made the experience even better as we could step directly into the pool from our room. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great facilities and a lively, convenient location.

GGuest UserFacilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully.

GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

GGuest UserCheck in was a breeze with luggage handlers helping carry your luggage from the pier to the hotel. The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark.

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't bad! Just a question about the cleanliness of the pool 🤔. Nearby there are beautiful streets! It's about a 15-minute walk to the fire show! Also not far from the observation deck! There are many longtail boats on the shore, you can arrange with a captain to take a ride for an extra fee. Overall, it's a good option for 1-2 nights! It's a 10-minute walk from the pier where the ferry arrives.

Ppablo.jchI honestly don’t understand the number of negative reviews this hotel gets. Our experience was completely different, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made everything even better. Yes, the property shows some signs of wear, but that’s normal for beachfront places unless you’re paying for high-end luxury. Considering the price, especially for rooms with a sea view, it actually feels like great value. The view from our room was incredible, the ocean with some greenery in between, peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Phi Phi), and everything in the room functioned as it should. One thing to keep in mind is that reaching some rooms involves a fair amount of walking, sometimes under direct sun. This can be tiring, especially for people who are not in good physical condition or who are sensitive to heat. It may not be the best option for everyone in that regard. This is not a luxury resort, but it’s a solid, comfortable beachfront hotel that delivers more than fair value for what you pay. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best options in Phi Phi in its price range, and far more enjoyable than many of the crowded, stuffy places in the center. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties.
