"Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Pros: Easy check-in, with a receptionist available. Great location, only about a 5-minute walk to Bataras Supermarket, with Uncle Bob and Aicha in the same row, making it very convenient for food and daily necessities. Although it is close to the supermarket and shops, the area was surprisingly quiet at night. No bad smells in the house or around the toilets. The view is pretty good and better than expected. I requested a ground-floor unit because we had an older guest with us, and they kindly arranged a ground-floor unit for us. Really appreciated this. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The floors and kitchen were clean. The kitchen utensils were also clean, which was a big plus. Many guesthouses have clean rooms but dirty kitchen utensils, so I really appreciated this. The place is spacious and suitable for a big group. Cons: The bidet spray/water pressure was a little too strong, and some of the pipes were leaking. One of the toilets became clogged on the second day. There is a small graveyard nearby, but personally, it was not an issue for us at all. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and felt comfortable throughout. The convenient location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and spacious layout made this a great choice, especially for a big group. We definitely would love to stay here again!"

"2 hour drive from airport. Very close drive to the Kinabalu national park or about a 20 minute walk. Room is simple, rustic but clean. Beautiful surrounding and view from the room. Bed was comfortable. Perfect if you just want a good place to rest after spending the day in nature. There’s a cafe/lunch spot about 15 minutes away by foot."

"Super lucky that we got a free upgrade from 2 rooms to a house by the host. The house was very clean, spacious, has all the things you need (living room with Astro TV channels and sofa, well-equipped kitchen with dining table, gas stove, fridge, oven, toaster and baby chair, 2 toilets and both has toilet and shower with water heater). Breakfast provided was super good. View from room very nice. The only downside was the way there, quite a remote area, road is full of potholes. Highly recommended to stay if you’re travelling if a family or a group of 6."

"Room floor is dirty (has hair and some still water near the sliding door, had to request for mop to wipe dry), understandable the room will be quite mouldy as the environment is very humid, no slippers provided in room (floor is super cold when stepped on bare foot), the floor mat outside the toilet is quite “wet” and very uncomfortable to step on to dry off feet after shower, water heater is unstable. Spacious parking, less than 5 minutes drive to Sabah National Park HQ. If you’re only in Kundasang for a hike in Mount KK, recommend to stay for a night if you’re not too"
