It was an awesome experience staying at Spring Garden. The host, Mr Lee, went all out to ensure our stay was comfortable. When it rained, he brought umbrellas and placed outside our house. He helped carried our luggage to and from our car, right to our doorstep. When we were tired and didn't wish to drive out for dinner, he offered to pack food for us and suggested a few places for us to consider. We couldn't have asked for a better host and are very grateful for his warm hospitality. The house is very clean, mountain air fresh and the surroundings just so beautiful. Driving around Kundasang area, am so thankful we selected Spring Garden Kundasang for our stay. Some of the accommodation we saw were quite rundown, surroundings were noisy and parking was difficult. Spring Garden Kundasang offered a restful respite away from the hustle and bustle. We are so glad we made the right choice. Thank you once again, Mr Lee.

The location is great, right by the road and easy to find. There are many farmers selling durians along the way. Breakfast offers a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. There's a small town nearby with restaurants, so you don't need to drive. For being in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is quite good. It's also not far from Maragang Hill.

The resort is conveniently located right beside the main road connecting Ranau and Kota Kinabalu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. While there was some traffic noise from passing vehicles, it wasn’t a major issue—earplugs can easily solve that if you’re a light sleeper. What mattered most to us was the cleanliness, which was excellent. An added bonus is that extra mattresses are available for rent if needed. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Firstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking. Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage. Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.

Extremely satisfied! The room was spacious with plenty of beds. I requested a room with a balcony and a view of Mount Kinabalu, and luckily they were able to accommodate me (as one was available). You can relax at the cafe and enjoy the Mount Kinabalu view in the early morning. I would definitely repeat my stay next time.

Room floor is dirty (has hair and some still water near the sliding door, had to request for mop to wipe dry), understandable the room will be quite mouldy as the environment is very humid, no slippers provided in room (floor is super cold when stepped on bare foot), the floor mat outside the toilet is quite “wet” and very uncomfortable to step on to dry off feet after shower, water heater is unstable. Spacious parking, less than 5 minutes drive to Sabah National Park HQ. If you’re only in Kundasang for a hike in Mount KK, recommend to stay for a night if you’re not too

We just wanted to try doing it in a capsule.. but this is the first time we've done it in a capsule.. the place is a bit scary.. but we'll try doing it in a tent later.. everything else is ok..

We had a wonderful stay here. The villa was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The view of Mount Kinabalu was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the morning. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Everything was well prepared, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Mount Kinabalu at 6am will really surprise you😲 We live on the highest floor, When you open the door and look to the left👀, you can see the whole Mount Kinabalu, and there are no wires or anything else blocking your view of taking photos😍😍😍 When you open the door and look to the right👀, you can see a sea of ​​clouds, and the wind is really comfortable and cool🥶 But there are a lot of small insects in the room, and the bed sheets are not very clean, so they itch..😂
