Hotels near Matthauskirche, Lucerne

We stayed 3 nights in a family room for 4. The room is spacious enough to put all our 5 luggages. The bed is comfy and there is a mini bar which offer free drinks. The location is ideal and walking distance about 10mins to the main train station. The buffet breakfast spread is also good.

Location good. Only a few minutrs walk from Luzern HBF. Room is clean. Love it, when I see how many sockets the room has near the desk and bed-side tables. Very convenient to recharge all the devices. Room temperature is also perfect. I dont need any heating even though I used to get cold easily even during autumn. Helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. Enjoyable experience.

Close to old town main attractions, less than 10 minutes walk from train station but a little tedious to drag heavy luggage to there. Breakfast was good.

Good location close to chapel bridge, church, luzern lake, luzern station and shopping area. Overall r good. Recommend this hotel! I like it!

Not near city centre. However, hotel provided free ticket for public transport there. Overall, a very pleasant experience during my stay there.

Really was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. Comfortable clean rooms, clean towels, comfortable beds and duvets, super friendly front desk, and really great location. A special mention of the quality breakfast spread which I look forward every morning. Strongly recommended.

One of the cheapest hostel options in Luzern, yet also the best. Beautiful common area aside, the bed capsule is one of the comfiest of my 46-day Europe trip. Free huge luggage storage. And the shower facilities are as well-equipped/designed as many Japanese hostel. Location-wise, it’s 1min walk away from bus stop (and few minutes from an awesome glacial museum), super convenient. The only weird thing was the electronic luggage storage failed on me two times, like I couldn’t open it after closing it with the electronic key. One of the times happened past midnight (receptionist had left), leaving me with no toothbrush/facial care to use before sleeping. Not sure what went wrong. But overall I totally enjoyed my stay here. An accommodation option I’d prioritize next time I’m back to Luzern.

The room was a little cold even with the heating on maximum. Location was good and facilities in the room is excellent. They even have a coffee machine in the room.
