It is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type.
Our quiet inn is hidden, secluded away in the woods. Begin your journey with us.
Our stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out. The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm. FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience..

Excellent onsen hotel in quiet yet popular location .. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Taiku drums nightly show was fun and great draw for families with kids. We stayed on a very busy weekend and hotel’s breakfast and dinner were fully booked. NTL the hotels casual restaurant was very good, menu and price wise; also excellent location to see the drum show . Easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) to Main Street of Yamashiro, tho not in middle of it. Free drinks and snacks in lounge very pleasant. Free shuttle bus to KagaOnsen station is popular . Most thankful to hotel’s customers service in answering a few requests we made within 24 hours prior to check-in. Except for meals which were fully booked , they catered for our requests, and with prompt emails communication. Would highly recommend hotel Rurikoh , when visiting Yamashiro.

The food and the open-air bath were good. The waitress who assisted us during meals was excellent. However, there were some shortcomings, such as the lack of facilities within the hotel (for example, a place to eat ramen) and the absence of a souvenir shop.

Delicious dinner, wonderful room. However, receptionists are unable to speak english, make communication a bit challenging.
Enjoying the beautiful view of Mt. Hakusan, one of Japan's three sacred mountains, by the lake.
Please enjoy the moist and soaking hot water.
There are many hot springs along Shilong Road, this time I chose Katayama Hot Spring, because there is a fireworks festival and nearby festivals. Fortunately, there is no rain.

Amazing
GGuest UserAlmost everything was in tip top condition including our requests for a vegetarian dunner and breakfast for one of our friends. Perhaps a hostess more fluent in english would have been helpful but anyway she was most gracious, attentive and courteous.
The amenities, food and service were really great!
GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's new, modern, and pays attention to every little detail. The room was wonderful, with incredibly comfortable futons and duvets. The onsen is marvelous, featuring an outdoor area, stones, wood, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and all sorts of thoughtful touches – truly an unbeatable experience. Dinner and breakfast are served buffet-style with a wide variety of Japanese and Western food. There's also a game room, perfect for having some fun and laughs.
It's a very peaceful and welcoming place. The only minor drawback was the bathroom in the room, which was quite dated and didn't match the rest of the hotel's modern feel. But honestly, that was a very small detail. I highly recommend it for a rejuvenating stay.
GGuest UserHotel service is very thoughtful, warm, dinner is very rich, breakfast is very rich, there is a shuttle bus, the room is very large and comfortable, the terrace view is open, and there is welcome drink in the lobby.
CCSupornYamanaka onsen is the best town for leisure.
Shirasagiyu Tawaraya is a good choice to stay with good service and tasty meals.
Its onsens are very nice with indoor and outdoor public baths.
They provide both yukata of your choice and nightwear.
Dinner and breakfast are worth every penny.
The surroundings are very good.
Free shuttle bus to and from the Kaga station
Love to come back again.
SSeedlingsKAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted.
The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher).
The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened.
Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that).
If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically.
In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with a hotel I recently stayed at. The room was spacious and comfortable, modern and relaxing. The service staff was warm and friendly and always helped, making me feel welcome. The hotel's restaurant has a rich breakfast selection and fresh and delicious food, adding a lot of vitality to the beginning of the day. The location is convenient and there are many attractions around to explore. Overall, this stay was very pleasant and will consider coming again in the future!
邓邓The newly opened hotel after refurbishment, so it looks very new, the hot springs are very interesting, the outdoor hot springs are for mixed men and women, and there are many small pools. Dinner was very good, breakfast was too Japanese and I was a bit unaccustomed to Japanese pickles. We also ran into a female manager this time, who was a Chinese. She enthusiastically escorted us to the station and explained to the bus driver our need to go to Yongping Temple temporarily. The hotel is very close to Hexian River.
ボボブNormally, white rice at a travel destination is delicious, but is white rice old rice? It was as bad as I thought.
I thought the white rice in the morning was leftovers from last night.
The food tasted good, but it didn't seem like they used high quality ingredients.
The hotel was beautiful.
bath was good
I think everything was good except rice
DDesvsdayWe were on a road trip, and the hotel was right by the lake, with beautiful scenery perfect for relaxing. The public bath was large and quite comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were buffet style, but the menu was simpler compared to other hot spring hotels in Hokkaido.
