Hotels near Guro Station, Seoul

I stayed here on their opening day. It seemed a bit hectic, but the front desk staff were incredibly kind and made an effort to communicate in Japanese, which I really appreciated. The frosted glass in the toilets and shower rooms might make it a bit less suitable if you're staying with friends. There were no slippers provided, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The location is excellent – it's right by Kkro Station and about a 5-minute walk to the airport bus stop. Besides a convenience store and MEGA COFFEE nearby, the NC Department Store close by has a Starbucks, Olive Young, Daiso, a supermarket, and various restaurants. It's a great spot, especially if you're attending a concert at Gocheok Sky Dome.

We had an excellent stay for three nights. The bed and comforters were very comfortable, and all three of us loved them. We stayed with two adults and one 7 yrs old child from March 15th to March 18th, 2026. This was our first time at Lotte City Hotel Guro. It’s surrounded by plenty of eateries, and we ate at the restaurants inside the hotel, which was very convenient for enjoying Korean and Japanese food right in the building. In the morning, we visited a great Korean breakfast restaurant nearby that offered good value and didn’t break the bank. 7 mins walks. Another great restaurant is located on the first floor of the building next door. It’s a great spot for Japanese stone pot rice for lunch, with plenty of options and a good selection. Quite a number of people were dining there, which is always a good sign. Overall, we think Lotte City Hotel Guro is a great place to stay. Frankly, the Myeongdong area felt too crowded for us, and we preferred the vibe here. Taking an Uber to Myeongdong was easy and only cost around US$15 for a 40-minute ride.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. Its location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside, literally 100 meters away. There's also a bus stop right by the entrance with buses going to all parts of the city center, plus an airport shuttle that takes you directly to the airport. Right next door is Daerim Chinatown, so whenever I don't feel like Korean food, I just head over there – they have everything!

The check-in was quick and the environment was pretty good, but the sound of opening and closing the door was quite loud and could be heard in the room. There are many shops nearby, including supermarkets and 7-11, which is very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located near Yeongdeungpo Subway Station, making it easy to get around the city. There is also a Lotte shopping mall right next to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. There are plenty of restaurants opposite the hotel too. Found the best Korean seafood pancake and blueberry makgeoli there. Will be back for more!

The rooms have USB ports for convenient charging, and a water purifier, which is a nice thoughtful touch.

J'y suis restée une nuit, car j'avais un événement pas trop loin. Très gentils à l'accueil, ils ont pu me garder mes bagages car la chambre n'était accessible qu'à 21h00. Comme je l'avais supposé, cet hôtel est prévu pour des ”nuits mouvementées” 😅, malgré tout il n'y avait pas de bruit et j'ai pu dormir tranquillement. Voyageuse solo, ça ne m'a pas posé de soucis.

Every staff member I encountered was incredibly kind. As it's a new hotel, everything was clean, and I slept wonderfully. I was very satisfied with the large smart TV, over 75 inches, and the OTT connectivity. The gym on the 13th floor had plenty of equipment and was open 24 hours, which was very convenient. Plus, the self-service washer and dryer are free to use (detergent and fabric softener can be purchased on the 1st floor). I definitely want to stay here again!

The hotel is good, although the room is quite small for a couple. The staff is kind.

1. The room was clean and tidy, and all the toiletries were provided (except for toothpaste and toothbrushes). 2. The room's location is excellent and feels very cozy. 3. Basic facilities are complete, including a refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, and so on. 4. No need for trash sorting. 5. Great for introverts, as you can check in yourself. I also have to praise the hotel staff 🥹. On my first day of arrival, I lost my iPhone 7 Plus, which I believe I left on the airport shuttle. We realized it quickly and went to look for it, but it was in vain. We didn't have local SIM cards and weren't very fluent in Korean, so we hoped the front desk staff could help us communicate. The male staff member efficiently helped us contact the airport bus management center, but we were told it hadn't been found. He seemed even more upset than me when he heard it wasn't found 😢, and kept comforting me 🥹. Although it wasn't a very valuable phone, it held some sentimental value, so I was a bit heartbroken. The female staff member spoke very fluent Chinese and also helped us deal with the communication issues with the airport bus station. On the second day after losing it, I suddenly received an iCloud location update showing it was at the airport. Although I felt a bit embarrassed, I asked the female staff member to help contact the airport again. Knowing we would return to the hotel late, she left us a note. After returning to my home country, I immediately left a review on Google Maps, hoping to convey my gratitude to both of them.
