Hotels near Changi, Singapore

its a roundabout for the rooms so if u stay far from the lift can be quite a walk. there's supposedly an upgrade renovation done but i don't see any improvement as the bathroom didn't have a bidet and i had a room with a rusty crack in the bathtub base and they changed to a smaller room for me near the lift..the room didn't have custom madr curtains done proper and i really prefer it yo be entirely blackout curtains. as u can see in my pics there's light penetrating through. the new room had chip off in the basin and cigarette stains, i felt its unhygienic. . they promote drinking from tap water but as a local i still boil my water regardless. its good for people who loves nature and sea view and going to pulau ubin to explore. but bar and restaurant closes early in the hotel which is a disappointment.

Hotel room is nice and spacious, but the bed is not so comfortable but okay to sleep. Location is not too convenient but it’s quiet to have good rest. Reception staff are all very friendly and nice. Breakfast variety is limited but it’s good enough to fill the stomach.

Stayed for one night during the Spring Festival. When I first entered the room, I didn't notice it because the fan was on, but after turning it off, the entire night was filled with an unpleasant musty smell, which seriously affected my rest. Luckily, it was just a one-night stopover near the airport before heading to Sentosa the next morning. If it had been a longer stay, it would have been absolutely unbearable. Also, the hotel room facilities are too old; the refrigerator was rusty.

Due to the late arrival of Scoot flight TR611 from Suvarnabhumi past 11.30 pm, it costs me S$21.30 by Grab to arrive at Dorsett Changi City Hotel from Changi Airport. I stayed here one night for the convenience of boarding the free shuttle bus service at the neighbouring Expo Hall 5 for Singapore Airshow 2026 past 7 am on 8 February 2026. There is no need to pay the room deposit for one night stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel. The room rate is overpriced as the room allocated to me is small. There is no pair of indoor slippers or sandals to wear and there is no room razor to use. Instead of four-class service, the hotel service should be classified as three-class instead. Top quality body lotion as well as body and hand wash are provided for room use. There is free filtered water to drink. Like Maya Hotel in Phuket, the toilet is separated from the shower room but Dorsett guests hang towels in the toilet and not the shower room! Flooding occurs after showering. Breakfast also starts at 6.30 am but it costs S$33.57 per guest. This is the breakfast rate payable to the reception by debit card, credit card or cash while it costs S$39 plus if the guest pays for breakfast at the hotel's Cosmo Restaurant. 6.30 am is the earliest breakfast outside homes in Changi as the nearest convenience store 7-11 is opened only at 7 am daily. The restaurant serves more varieties of fruits than other hotel restaurants as well as multi-grain bread. Cosmo Restaurant is also running ala carte buffet lunch promo rate at S$29.90 per person. Members of the public can also eat here. During winter months, planes can be seen flying past Standard Chartered Bank Building of Changi Business Park from the lift corridor. The reception says hotel guests on the hotel's swimming pool deck can also see planes flying. I recommend to stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel for one night only if guests wanted to go to Expo to attend a MICE event on the next day, catch an early free shuttle bus to Singapore Airshow or stay at a cheaper rate than Yotelair Changi during transit. First time staying in a bus-turned-hotel with my kids, and it was a surprisingly private experience. Even though it's a converted bus, it felt just like a regular hotel with hot water and air conditioning. Plus, there's a street right behind it with lots of great food options!

The location is very close to the Metro, which is very important if you're travelling to Singapore. It is just a few stops from/to the airport, as well as to the main tourist attractions. There are many small restaurants along the street, if you're on budget. Personally, I buy fresh fruits in the morning across the street on my way out to tour the city. The price is unbeatable. The hotel is just a 3-star type of hotel, but clean, safe and quiet. The amenities are indeed very basic, but because I leave early and return late in the evening, this is not a concern to me. There is a curfew, or quiet times, I believe from 9pm to 7am, but reception is open 24/7. The staff are polite and accommodating. They let me borrow a phone charger when mine broke.

Sadly did not enjoy my stay here and was unable to sleep much despite my flight arriving at 1am. Room was constantly bright through a frosted window into a different room that shined through the bathroom and I couldn’t cover. Walls are very thin so you hear everything: people talking in the hallway, people talking in their rooms, people opening their bathroom door, etc If you don’t mind all of this then it’s an ok deal. But pack earplugs and an eye-mask.

Everything was perfect! We were greeted by Elvis upon checking in. Explain to us everything we could do, or eat around the area. The Room are clean and neat. Everything was perfect frm start till chcking out! Would definitely come again! Kudos to Elvis and the team!!

The room was very clean. It's a normal size, not huge. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you can just walk around and don't need a taxi. The price was also good. I'd definitely stay here again; the room was nice!

Arrived late at night, and there was still staff at the lobby. They even left green apples for guests. The room, though small, was very clean and well-equipped. There's a fantastic Western restaurant diagonally opposite and a clothing store across the street where I always find unique, well-designed pieces. This hotel offers great value for money in Singapore.
