"I recently stayed at the Wyndham Grand Hot Spring Resort in Liyang, and I had high expectations given its excellent rating on Ctrip. Upon arriving at the hotel parking lot, a butler promptly met us with a shuttle to take us to check-in. The service was fantastic and very thoughtful, with every staff member greeting us with a smile. Since the hotel is relatively new, the facilities are great, and I was impressed to find Guerlain toiletries provided. While the hotel features an alpaca farm and Dinosaur Valley, which are perfect for younger children, the kids' club was a bit small and underwhelming, which was a slight letdown. My favorite part was definitely the infinity pool and hot springs located on the cliff top. They offer a fantastic ambiance during 'blue hour' and the views are stunning. It was incredibly comfortable, even on a summer evening, as it wasn't too hot. The breakfast was also excellent. I'd definitely consider a second stay here, especially if checking in on a Friday when it's less crowded for an even better experience. [Proud R]"

"At the end of the summer vacation, I went on a family trip, so I chose Junlan in Hidden Dragon Valley and booked a villa on the mountain. It completely exceeded my expectations. The lobby where we checked in was amazing. The water pool outside the glass window was said to be 30 meters deep and turquoise, and there were also castle rooms by the lake. What I have always told my children is that this time I will live in the mountains and be picked up by a shuttle bus. The room is very spacious and there is a bathtub on the large terrace. The room is still very clean, there is a Dyson hair dryer, and there are plenty of drinks and welcome fruits at the bar. The children’s favorites are the Happy Paradise and the infinity pool on the mountain. The indoor naughty castle is still very clean. My sister can stay in it for most of the day, which is best when the sun is shining brightly. In the evening, the park is not so sunny, and the projects outside are quite suitable for my sister. It is very humane for hotel guests to enter and leave the park multiple times. In addition, I also tried animal feeding, African drum teaching, water sofa and off-road vehicles, and there was still more to enjoy. The next night, I took my sister to see the light show at the door, and when I came back, I took the challenge of climbing the mountain on the ladder. I am very satisfied with this trip, especially the service ambassador Meng Qingwen, who provided us with various strategies before departure. He was really angry and considerate. I originally wanted to extend my stay, but my sister wanted to try the downhill castle style hotel, but she put it on hold due to other reasons. We will make an appointment next time."

"The room was clean and tidy with a super large bed. The courtyard was lovely, and we were very happy to bring our pet. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay with attentive and thoughtful service. The bedding was soft and super comfortable, and the outdoor balcony had amazing natural light with beautiful views of Tianmu Lake right outside the window. The environment was clean and beautiful, healing all our blues. The only minor issue was that pets aren't allowed in the restaurant."

"For the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, we chose Hantian Yangxin Valley. To sum up our stay, the overall environment was tranquil and elegant, and the private villas offered excellent privacy. The views of the mountains, forests, and lake within the resort were outstanding. The wellness programs, like standing meditation and tea ceremonies, were quite unique and definitely worth experiencing for those seeking peace and relaxation. The butler service was very responsive, and the room was spotless. I particularly loved the sandalwood incense provided in the room, which smelled wonderful. The meals included with the stay were also impressive, with fresh ingredients and a delightfully light flavor. There are many walking paths within the resort, making it a pleasant and comfortable place to stroll around when the weather is good."

"I specifically booked a room with a balcony, but I wouldn't recommend the Bamboo Retreat King Room. The 'balcony' shown in the picture was explained to be an 'inner balcony,' which was just a solid wall separated from the room by a sliding glass door. It felt stuffy, oppressive, dim, and had a strange smell, almost like being in a prison. There was no bathtub, and the bathroom was tiny. However, the butler was excellent and helped us switch to a room with a proper balcony, which was a huge improvement. We're very grateful for that. The bedding in the room was good, and the two beds could be combined. Room service was fast, but the TV casting feature was broken. Even after maintenance came to try and fix it, it still failed, and nothing further was done about it. Regarding the hotel and scenic area activities and package details, you really need to proactively ask about everything as there are no reminders. For example, for the hotel-provided firework viewing spots, it's best to call and ask in advance, as no one will tell you, but if you ask, you can book it beforehand. The shuttle service isn't very convenient either. It's not an on-demand service; there are only a few fixed stops, and you have to wait for it like a bus. It also can't go inside the scenic area. Overall, the service felt a bit lacking. Despite the service issues, the Ctrip package offers good value for money. The Birds of Prey show included with the ticket is definitely worth seeing. The scenic train B line was a bit boring, but the Yaohu Town has great aesthetics. The evening water show and fireworks were also good. Coming in summer for stream trekking would be fantastic. It's also very convenient to explore at night and then return to the room, making it perfect for a two-day, one-night stay. The food within the scenic area was surprisingly good. It would be even better if the service could be improved."

"Overall, the hotel is quite good. The staff are very friendly and always greet you when you meet them, even in the elevator or at meals. The room's cleanliness and environment are great, and any issues are promptly addressed. I do have a few suggestions: 1. The hotel's smoke control could be improved. There was a smell of smoke in the room, hallway, and even the restaurant. 2. When ordering takeout, we had to wait a while for staff to deliver it to our room. I suggest using a delivery robot for a more convenient and faster service. 3. The breakfast selection could be more varied, with more local specialties included."

"This year, my family chose to spend Chinese New Year at this hotel. Overall, the hotel environment is excellent, with high floors offering expansive views. Perhaps due to the large number of guests during the Spring Festival, the cleanliness could be improved slightly, but the overall service was fantastic. Both the housekeeping and restaurant staff were very welcoming. The New Year's Eve buffet dinner on the 60th floor was superb; we called in advance, and they reserved a great table for us."

Local amenities are comprehensive, with a full range of dining options, purple clay pottery workshops, and nearby attractions, making it a one-stop destination for a complete holiday experience."

"The ¥300+ double room with two breakfasts, bathtub, and swimming pool felt like a great deal. Everyone was very welcoming, check-in was smooth and quick, and they even gave the kids a small gift. We were especially grateful to Uncle Tan at the door, who helped us carry our luggage to the room and then helped us put it in the car when we left. Our trip to Yixing went very smoothly; we had a great time shopping and a comfortable stay. The only downside was the ¥48 breakfast for the kids, which was a little pricey, but the breakfast environment was excellent, and everything we needed was provided. The wontons were very tasty and delicious."

The front desk upgraded me to an executive room and even included access to the executive lounge. I accidentally left my charger after checking out, and the hotel immediately contacted me and helped mail it back."
