"The hotel is a 5-6 minute walk from the train station. However, it can be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying luggage due to the numerous stairs. The Old Port and Old Town are a 10+ minute bus ride away, but cycling is definitely the best way to get around. We booked a king room, only to realize a standard room would have been just as sufficient. This is because all room sizes are identical, and even the 'king' beds are simply two single beds pushed together. The bathroom is very compact and efficient, quite typical of what you'd find in a Japanese hotel."

"The facilities felt a bit dated. On the plus side, it did come with a kitchenette (equipped with a microwave and fully stocked with utensils), a kettle, a coffee maker (though sadly, no coffee was provided, only two tea bags), and a fridge. Given that Marseille was sweltering at 35 degrees Celsius these past two days, the room's air conditioning was completely ineffective, forcing us to rely entirely on a fan. Paying over 1000 RMB for this was seriously disappointing and poor value for money. I hope this review offers a useful reference for my fellow Chinese travelers."

"Although the hotel is a bit of a distance from Marseille's Old Port, public buses and trams are conveniently located nearby, making transportation quite accessible. However, it's a bit far from the metro station, which makes getting to the airport less convenient. The hotel features a stylish design and brand-new facilities. While the room size isn't large, it does come with a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing simple meals. The bedding is comfortable, and the room is relatively quiet. Overall, it's quite good."

"Nicely renovated modern and clean apartment on the 2nd floor - there is no lift and a narrow spiral staircase so pls be aware of that before booking. Small but has everyrhing needed. Secure and safe. Centrally located (because of its location there is street noise until late and garbage truck early morning). - easy walk to the old port and attractions. Paid parking nearby. Very clear instructions given plue communication was super good with the apartment manager."

During the peak season, you can still book 600-700 yuan a night, which is very good. The room is also quite spacious. Marseille is the place I am most satisfied with in the south of France. "From the Parc PR exit to the hotel on foot, it will take about 5-10 minutes. The hotel is clean, the rooms are simple. The room did not have: drinking water, toiletries, refrigerator. But at the reception they give a voucher for drinks and water right at the reception. The staff is always on site 24/7."

The hotel lobby lounge is quite spacious and there is a mini gym on the second floor. There are balconies above the 3rd floor, and the rooms are decorated in French style.

GGuest UserDefinitely a basic room but the linens were clean, pillows comfy, water pressure and temperature were good and pump soap was handy by the sink and in the shower so that was all fine. Unfortunately the TV didn't work and the air conditioner wasn't robust enough for such warm weather. Otherwise, the facility seemed safe, the front counter always seemed to be attended, and the location was very close to the old port and metro, and there was a civic parking lot within easy walking distance.

Unexpectedly, the bus parking lot in the station is also on the north side, so the hotel is only a hundred meters away from the bus station, which is very convenient; the hotel is relatively old, and the air in the room is not good; this room type has a room with a door that can be closed (mini TV), plus a sofa bed in the living room, which is convenient for a family or a few friends to stay together; it should be noted that the hotel requires you to dispose of the garbage by yourself. Turn right outside the hotel and go to the first door. The password is 8420. Dispose of the garbage by yourself, otherwise you will be fined; if you check out after 11 o'clock, you will also have to pay a late fine; it would be better to ask clearly when checking in; this is a relatively environmentally friendly European hotel.

GGuest UserHotel ideally located, near the bus lines, the metro and the St. Charles Station, as well as near the Prado. The room has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The staff is very kind: all the people met were absolutely adorable. Only small bemols: a lack of luminosity in the room and perfect cleanliness. For the price quality ratio I recommend 100%.

GGuest UserThe biggest advantage is that the train station is very close. The train station is on a high ground. It is very difficult to pull boxes in the city, such as the old port. It is recommended that the subway taxi is closer. The whole Marseille has various heights and lows. ibis is mainly soundproofed. The sound of other neighbors closing the door is not loud outside the window. Breakfast is really good at this price hotel.

AangelaThe hotel is not far from the port. From the airport the bus dropped us off 1 km from the hotel and at night it is better to avoid walking in that area. Better to use a taxi. The reception is always open, even if you have already paid the entire bill before your trip, at check in they will still ask you to register your card. My room was on the first floor, the door opens with a code. Spacious, airy with a nice and large window, equipped with a TV, there is no mini fridge, several correct sockets and also USB. The bed was comfortable, I slept well. The bathroom with a fairly large shower. The only thing they left us was just two shower towels and nothing more. Usually they leave more towels. Also there was no hairdryer (absurd and never happened in any hotel). To have it you have to ask at reception, leaving a €20 deposit or your passport. The sweet and savory breakfast is served in a room. For savory you will find: sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs (these were not the best), for sweet: cereals, yogurt, brioches, bread, with jams. Find several coffee machines.

VVivian KempFirst time in Marseille. Fine to have stayed at this apartment but probably won't again. I had to chase for the access instructions myself. Also annoying to have to go pick up the keys from Ibis (collection itself was quick), which is a 9-minute walk to the apartment. The fob worked but the 2 keys attached did not open any doors. Email instructions, while clear, were not entirely accurate - referring to going right when in fact I needed to find the apartment on the left. Bit of drama one morning as I forgot my phone inside the apartment and had locked myself out. Had keys on me but the keys couldn't actually open the door, and of course I couldn't remember the super-secure 9-digit digital code! Only eventually managed to get in but asking a neighbour who thankfully was able to call the apartment manager. They should have given me working manual keys but never did. Apartment itself was very clean. Lots of linen. Comfortable bedding in the bedroom as well as hidden under the sofa bed. Basic toiletries included. Washing machine worked. Heating was plenty sufficient. No dishwasher but not an issue as I did not cook much. (2 induction hob rings right against the wall which I didn't think was conducive to cooking anything more than the super basic, but fine for me this trip.) Overall it was okay. Location super convenient, but I'd prefer somewhere quieter, where people and traffic noise wouldn't be so loud and go on after hours. Also somewhere without people relieving themselves next to large bins right outside the building's front door. Somewhere more pleasant...
