"I would be very careful before booking this hotel during the summertime. They say there is AC but it's extremely weak, perhaps 10% strength, we tested out four different rooms. In the end I had to sleep with a wet towel. Thankfully they allowed me to leave the next day with a refund, all of the staff claimed a taxi would be €15 Euros but actually it was €30+. Other than that, the hotel seemed good, soft and clean beds, spacious enough, powerful shower. Didn't seem noisy either."

"Stayed at this establishment twice, in a room and then in an apartment. The place is ideally located in the city center, a stone's throw from the old port. This establishment is new but lacks maintenance in both the common areas and the rooms and apartments. Dirty sheets and towels, limescale marks in the bathroom, etc. It's a real shame. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served offers a magnificent view."

"A wonderful hotel. Great location, incredible views. A terrific modern restaurant and bar, with exceptional views of the setting sun, matched by the quality of the food and drink. Julie, who was on reception duty on the afternoon and evening of 30 June, was superb. BA had cancelled our flight, and we were tired. Julie welcomed us, and made the check in process really easy. She then booked us a restaurant and train tickets. Julie did all of this with both charm and effectiveness. What a wonderful staff member! Thank you Julie."

"I chose this hotel because it's close to the train station, making it convenient to take the airport express the next day. The location is excellent, just steps from the metro station, only two stops from the Old Port. Most of Marseille's attractions are around the Old Port. The hotel doesn't have many rooms, and the rooms are a moderate size; having two large suitcases open makes movement a bit restrictive. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast selection is limited, but the courtyard where you eat breakfast is quite pleasant; you can have a coffee there afterward."

"The facilities felt a bit dated. On the plus side, it did come with a kitchenette (equipped with a microwave and fully stocked with utensils), a kettle, a coffee maker (though sadly, no coffee was provided, only two tea bags), and a fridge. Given that Marseille was sweltering at 35 degrees Celsius these past two days, the room's air conditioning was completely ineffective, forcing us to rely entirely on a fan. Paying over 1000 RMB for this was seriously disappointing and poor value for money. I hope this review offers a useful reference for my fellow Chinese travelers."
