The shortcomings are: 1. The bathroom and shower are separated by a bedroom, which makes it awkward to go to the bathroom while taking a shower. 2. The floor is too old and needs to be polished and oiled to be decent. In short, the flaws are not enough to overshadow the advantages. I will choose this hotel again.

Good hotel with close proximity to the train station and city centre. Rooms were great, we stayed in a sailing theme room on the first floor, room was very spacious with queen bed, two balconies and lake view. Windows had electronic shutters for complete comfort and to avoid early morning awakening. Breakfast had good choices of food and beverages.

Exceptional welcome and top-notch service (especially the free public transport). The room was comfortable, the bedding excellent, and there was no noise at all. Continental breakfast. This was the perfect hotel for a solo trip to Lausanne. The single room was perfect for just me, the amenities were great, and it was a 7 minute walk from the train station. Super easy to find, in a great location, and perfect when you don't need a big fancy room just for yourself. Would definitely stay here again.

Located north of the train station, easily accesible with quite some uphill, but manageable with luggage. The room was squeaky clean and the staff was friendly. The decor is as you see in the photos.
