We booked a room with a bathtub, and it was definitely worth it! Having a bathtub in the room made the experience feel extra luxurious and gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The room was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to feel at home. It was exactly the kind of room we wanted for a relaxing getaway as a couple. Cleanliness was another thing that really impressed us. Everything was very clean and well maintained, from the room itself to the facilities. You could tell that attention was paid to keeping everything in excellent condition. We also received fresh fruit every day, which was another lovely touch. It was wonderful to come back after exploring and enjoy some fresh fruit in the room. These unexpected extras showed that the hosts really cared about their guests’ comfort and wanted to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Another big advantage was the assistance with booking tickets for local attractions and activities. Planning trips in a new destination can sometimes be confusing, especially when there are different attractions to visit and tickets to arrange. The staff were helpful and could assist us with bookings, making everything much easier and more convenient. Having someone available to help with these arrangements saved us time and made it easier to enjoy our trip without worrying too much about the logistics. We really appreciated how the overall experience went beyond simply providing a place to sleep. Between the beautiful scenery, the clean and comfortable room, the bathtub, the complimentary morning noodles, the daily fruit, and the helpful service, there were so many details that made our stay feel special. Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

After many years, I revisited Yangshuo, this time bringing my parents along. I spent a long time choosing a hotel. I wanted one that opened in the last two years, with new facilities and a spacious room, as there were two of us, and more space would be more comfortable for moving around. Ideally, it wouldn't be too far from the scenic spots. This hotel completely met my requirements and even exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very new. From the moment I entered the lobby, I could tell the hotel's aesthetic was on point. The front desk offered welcome tea and fruit. Every staff member provided excellent service. Upon check-in, we added the butler's WeChat, so we could contact them via WeChat for anything we needed. After checking in, a dedicated staff member escorted us to our room and explained how to use the room's facilities. The room was very spacious, 38 square meters with a soaking tub and mountain views. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. The shower stall was large and included a clothes rack, so I no longer had to undress completely before entering – it was incredibly convenient! There was also a place to hang clothes in the room, so I could hang them to dry right after washing them on the fourth floor. The view from the 7th-floor rooftop was absolutely stunning. Dining by the infinity pool in the morning, while gazing at Yangshuo's misty, cloud-shrouded mountains, was incredibly relaxing. Getting a taxi was also very convenient: 10 minutes to West Street and 15 minutes to Yulong River. The hotel also offered electric scooter rentals for 35 yuan/day. There were also many dining options nearby, all within walking distance. The value for money was excellent; for less than 300 yuan, it felt like a five-star experience.

Bo Hotel has the best location, right infront of all the food stalls, shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel is like 5 star, view from the room was beautiful. Best part is that they have Japanese style toilet which my mom loved it. Room was spacious with 2 sofas, we also enjoyed the evening snacks and beer. Breakfast was simple but everything provided from bread, salads, and their Guilin soup noodle was so good. They also have free laundry at 3rd floor. Hotel staff is always available and they replied quickly about our needs and queries. They also helped us to book ticket to Ruyi peak and private car. After we checked out, they made sure whether we have reached our next destination or not! Very lovely staff. Thank you Bo Hotel entire team for making our stay very comfortable and best wishes ! If you are looking for the perfect hotel in Yangshuo, look no further, because you found it. At first I believed that all the hype was just that, but experiencing this hotel is literally a painting coming to life. The service staff is beyond attentive and looking out for your well-being. Bella was our host and, together with her colleagues, was always just a WeChat window away for any request. We needed an iron and it was brought to the room within five minutes. We missed the included afternoon tea the first night, so they put some dessert to the side and brought it, as well as a sweet little Chinese soup, to our room. This is really next-level service I have not witnessed before. Our room was in building 8, which is like a five-minute walk, if you take your time walking. However, they offer to drive you from one building to another in a golf cart whenever you need. You just need to give a short heads-up. The room was simply stunning. We didn’t use the bathtub in the room since we had a wonderful pool right there in building 8. Breakfast was served at building 2, where you can gaze at the wonderful Yangshuo (20-RMB bank note view) karst mountains while munching down on your Western or Eastern-style breakfast. I opted for the freshly made beef noodle soup because, of course! Included in the price is a 30-minute photo shoot with a professional photographer, also from the hotel, who also offers you the chance to put on costumes in the studio, if you want. The photos can be taken in building 2 or 8. We wanted to have them taken in building 2, since the garden offers so many cool and interesting settings. Even a Tolkien-style hobbit house or stairs to heaven. The kicker is that you get them dropped right onto your phone. No waiting needed! Also, if you need to wash your clothes, they have several modern washing machines and dryers on the second floor of building 8 at no extra charge. They even provide detergent, etc. We only stayed two nights, but we look forward to coming back again. Next time I will try not to forget anything in the room, but even for the item I forgot, they generously offered to send it to the next hotel we stayed at in Shenzhen. ”No problem at all,” they said. We were in awe.

A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

We stayed at this hotel from August 12–17, 2026. It was the best hotel of our entire trip. 1. Location: The hotel is a 30‑minute walk from West Street. However, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, a free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and West Street in both directions – very convenient! The area around the hotel isn't very touristy – there aren't many cafés or shops nearby, so for everything we had to go to West Street. 2. Hotel grounds: The crown jewel of the hotel is certainly its huge swimming pool surrounded by mountains. We had an absolutely unforgettable time swimming in the pool with that view. Unlike most Chinese hotels, the pool is deep (up to 1.7 m) and very large – even with many guests around, nobody got in anyone's way, and we could swim freely. A small downside is that there aren't many chairs or benches around the pool to put your things on, but we always found a spot. Besides the pool, the grounds include a lake (unfortunately the fountains weren't working), a tennis court, and a small walking area with swings. As a suggestion to the hotel: we missed evening lighting. It would be wonderful if the trees, the lake, or the mountains were illuminated, so that after sunset we could take an evening stroll. 3. Service: Deserves the highest praise! The day before our arrival, the manager contacted me on WeChat. When booking the room, I had left a request for a quiet room with a nice view. Since we had a room for three people, all such rooms faced the street and had no balcony. The manager took my request into account and gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony (with a stunning mountain view) and added a third bed. The manager, Xiuxiu, is absolutely incredible – she made our stay truly comfortable and took care of us throughout our entire visit. First, she spoke excellent English. Second, she was always available on WeChat and answered all our questions. Third, when we were checking out, my mum left her pendant in the pocket of the bathrobe and was very upset. I wrote to the hotel on WeChat asking them to look for it. Not only was the pendant found, but they also arranged express delivery to my Chinese friend on the very same day. That is professionalism at its best – thank you! Other requests during our stay were also handled promptly, such as changing the bathrobes to ones we preferred or bringing a third set of tableware. We also bought tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show at the reception. It was very convenient and cheaper than buying through the show's official WeChat account. The hotel offers many amenities: water, juice, and candies in the lobby, plenty of lounge areas, a shop, a free laundry room, and a gym. Breakfast at the hotel was very convenient. For European tastes, it wasn't extremely varied, but there was enough to choose from. It would be great if the café remained open during the day as well (for an extra charge). 4. Room: As I mentioned, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. It was very quiet and the view was breathtaking. The room itself was large, with big, comfortable beds. There was a split‑system air conditioner (not a standard wall unit), but it was surprisingly tricky to adjust despite its seemingly simple controls – sometimes it would cool the room too much, and sometimes even when set to 23°C, the temperature would keep rising to 26°C, and so on. A slight inconvenience: the shower is right in the room (as in many Chinese hotels), and there's nowhere to hang a towel without it getting wet. But this wasn't a major issue. The room was cleaned daily: fresh water, tea bags, various kinds of coffee, towel changes, floor mopping! Upon check‑in, we were also greeted with a welcome fruit platter and even some instant noodles (which came in very handy after our journey). The room had a refrigerator and even a dish steriliser. It was quiet inside – we couldn't hear the neighbours, and there was no smell of cigarette smoke.

Misled by Trip.com. Paid about 1200 CNY for two days and ended up in a rural guesthouse in the mountains, which was misleadingly listed as a hotel. Dianping (a local review app) was more honest, showing it as a guesthouse. I should have stayed in Yangshuo West Street instead; there were plenty of options for that price. The photos were drastically different from the actual experience. It was more like a two-star place in the city, perhaps? The exterior was even less appealing than other guesthouses, but the lobby was spacious and simple. The rooms were small. It had six floors, with about 5 rooms per floor. The room was small and had a rustic, 'village' feel. My child didn't even want to stay after opening the door and asked why I booked this place. It was totally photo-shopped. Plus, transportation in Yangshuo is inconvenient, and taxis overcharge. We had to tough it out for two days. I saw the photos on Trip.com and thought it would be a minimalist and chic hotel like All Seasons, but it was just a peasant's house. The bathroom had random trash cans. You could hear people talking outside the door. This place feels more like accommodation attached to a restaurant. Trip.com actually listed it as a hotel. I shouldn't just rely on reviews in the future. When we were taking a taxi out from here, the driver mentioned he was worried about oncoming traffic. That's when I realized the road in this deep mountain valley was only suitable for single-lane traffic. We even had to pull over twice for others. On October 4th, it was raining, and we couldn't get a taxi no matter what. We walked to the entrance of 'Romantic Show' and finally got a taxi for 78 CNY, which took an hour to get to Ruyi Peak. From Ruyi Peak to Silver Cave, we entered at 5 PM and by 7 PM, it was dark. The sky had cleared up, but there was no way to get a taxi back to Yangshuo. We were quoted 120 CNY for a 40-minute drive to the theater. It was a very poor experience. The most satisfying part of the 1200 CNY room rate was the bowl of Guilin rice noodles served for breakfast. Also, the beer fish set meal we bought separately at the hotel was generous in portion and clearly offered better value than the accommodation itself. After booking, it's essential to check both Trip.com and Dianping. Both the accommodation and transportation were extremely disappointing. You need to think carefully before staying in the mountains. For the same price, it's better to find a proper hotel. Always, always look at the exterior photos of the hotel, the outdoor shots. Seeing the outdoor exterior photos can largely help in making a judgment.

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

This place is nothing short of incredible. The owner and her family welcomed me with open arms. I would rate this place 100000 out of 10! I would recommend this place to everybody and I can’t wait to come back to visit again. The property is so beautiful and very modern. The view outside the window is breathtaking when watching the sunset. You can hear a bit of noise from the street from your room but that did not bother me. The hotel included breakfast which was Guilin noodles at a restaurant next door. Locals eat that every morning for breakfast so it was nice to experience that. The homestay also has a beautiful courtyard and a washer available for laundry. Forgot to mention there was a scooter available with each room stay to explore the town, but I didn’t know how to drive one. The town is a quick 10 minute ride away. The owner helped me booked all my excursions to Xianggong mountain, Ruyi Peak, Hot air balloon, and bamboo rafting. One day there were no didi’s available due to a holiday and I had no way to get to bamboo rafting. The owner took me in her own private vehicle and wouldn’t take payment. She is so very kind and deserves all of your business! As a solo traveler, she noticed I was alone and even invited me to her family dinner and to get dessert. She is truly a magnificent person. I’ve been to about 30 countries and her hospitality is unmatched. Thank you so much for having me at your home stay. I cannot recommend this place enough.
