Guest UserHonestly, this hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our entire trip. It's conveniently located within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, right next to the pier, which makes boat trips super easy. The hotel's facilities are truly impeccable – smart home features throughout, comfortable mattresses, and everything was spotlessly clean. The environment is also really nice, with a communal swimming pool. We stayed in a small courtyard room, which was incredibly healing. The front desk staff were exceptionally polite; they even helped us with our luggage to our room, providing truly five-star service. The breakfast restaurant is on the 6th floor and offers the best views, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery as far as the eye can see. The breakfast selection was pretty good, with both Chinese and Western options, and the Guilin rice noodles were absolutely fantastic. There are motorbike rentals available right outside, and plenty of dining options nearby, plus the hotel has its own. This hotel really enhanced our trip and made it feel completely worthwhile!

FeiduduwuweimenFound a hidden gem of a resort by the Yulong River in Guilin Yangshuo! Nestled by the mountains and river, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the beautiful scenery. The rooms are spotless, and come fully equipped with high-end amenities like Dyson products and premium toiletries, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. The friendly deer in the private pasture are adorable and perfect for photos. The housekeepers are attentive and reliable, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast includes freshly made rice noodles and noodles, and the sweet white fungus soup served in the evenings is wonderfully comforting. The resort is conveniently located near the Ji Ma Bamboo Raft Pier, making sightseeing a breeze. It's a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. Both the service and facilities are impeccable, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yulong River.

After a lot of deliberation, I finally chose this hotel and I'm so incredibly satisfied! As soon as I walked in, I was blown away. The room was huge and very clean, and they were very generous with the toiletries. All the staff were incredibly dedicated and responsible. The service was so personalized and thoughtful; they even left a lens cleaning cloth for me when they saw I wear glasses. The food was delicious too, I highly recommend the yogurt bowl and chicken feet for breakfast! This truly is a 'hotel of a lifetime' for me! I'll always cherish my memories here. Highly, highly recommend, and I hope I get the chance to come back again!

Guest User⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Full marks for Ji Yun Shang Yuan! Choosing the right guesthouse for our Yangshuo trip really enhanced the entire experience.
The hotel's courtyard is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has its own exclusive restaurant, where we had dinner for three consecutive nights. We pre-ordered our meals, and the chef would prepare the ingredients in advance, so we just had to come down at the agreed time to enjoy our food. The dishes were excellent, and our child loved every meal. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the taste is also very good.
What truly stood out was the thoughtful and personalized breakfast service: the hotel's regular breakfast starts at 8 AM, but if you need to leave early for an excursion or to catch a high-speed train, you can communicate in advance, and the hotel will prepare your breakfast, even packing it for you to take away. This is incredibly friendly for travelers.
Butler service was super responsive; any questions we had were answered instantly. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly at home and ensuring a worry-free trip.
The room's view and scenery were simply stunning. Drawing back the curtains in the morning, we could admire the sunrise over the mountains and rivers. The real-life scene is far more breathtaking than any photo; pictures can't even capture a tenth of the beauty seen with the naked eye. The room was well-equipped, with all toiletries provided free of charge, including a high-quality wooden comb and comfortable cotton-linen slippers. We also received complimentary welcome fruits, tea, and snacks – full of thoughtful details.
The hotel's amenities are extensive, with various board games for leisure and free bicycle rentals, making it convenient to cycle around the nearby rice fields. There's also a laundry room, showing that every aspect of our stay, from food to accommodation and travel, was carefully considered.

Anonymous UserThe floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos.
I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival.
**Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures.
**Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding.
**Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening.
It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch.
There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal.
This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

Guest UserTraveling to Yangshuo with the kids, we chose the Julong Xiaozhen Mountain & River Resort this time. Opening the window, we were greeted by continuous karst peaks, as if living inside an ink wash landscape painting.
Standing on the balcony, we could gaze out at the fields, unique peaks, and a sea of clouds, all filled with fresh greenery. The city's hustle and bustle instantly melted away.
The spacious lawn in the yard also had playground facilities that the kids loved. We experienced making intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans, immersing ourselves in the mountain and river culture amidst nature.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed afternoon tea by the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking up at the picturesque scenery. This place is truly perfect for a slow-paced family trip, allowing us to quietly enjoy a relaxing vacation surrounded by mountains and rivers without having to rush to crowded scenic spots.

Guest UserThis Dragon Boat Festival, I took my child to stay at the Wapan Yinshe Hotel. It was raining a bit when we first arrived in Yangshuo, and I was worried that bad weather would spoil our fun, but this hotel gave us a huge surprise! As soon as we entered, there were charming streams and bridges, with many beautiful koi swimming around. The front desk lady even gave my child fish food to feed them, which made my kid incredibly happy. The hotel's children's facilities were also excellent; while my child played in the ball pit, I relaxed on the nearby sofa. When it wasn't raining, my child had a blast on the slide at the mushroom house, and I enjoyed coffee under the canopy. For the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel also offered a zongzi-making experience. After we made them, the hotel cooked them for us to enjoy. Eating the zongzi we made ourselves felt so special. Usually, taking my child on trips leaves me exhausted, but this time, I truly felt relaxed and refreshed! 😎

zhuyamartinYangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself.
My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels.
The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks.
Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

Our family of three came to Yangshuo and specifically looked for a hotel where we could just relax and unwind, and the experience was truly wonderful. The location is quiet, the mountain views from the window are stunning, and the room was very comfortable. Our child had plenty to do right at the hotel, so we didn't have to rush to tourist spots every day. The travel photography service was excellent; the bamboo raft photoshoot offered by Banshan Travel was very unique to Guilin, and the photographer was very professional, leaving us with beautiful memories. The staff's service was very gentle and the overall atmosphere was leisurely. As adults, we could truly rest and relax. We had a very comfortable family vacation and it's definitely worth coming back to.
