JJoytotheworldsgWe had a wonderful stay at SYYF Holiday Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Every day, we received a different Chinese dessert delivered to our rooms and thoughtfully stored in the fridge, along with afternoon tea treats.
The hotel also offered a fantastic range of activities, including dumpling-making and massage stick workshops, which added a special touch to our stay. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in providing information about Yangshuo and recommending places to visit. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was included with our stay and featured an extensive selection of both local and international dishes.
The chargeable dinner was equally enjoyable, offering authentic local flavors prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

GGuest UserService: I communicated with the hotel in advance that my partner and I would be staying, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room simply decorated with a complimentary small cake! All hotel services are handled via a WeChat group. Upon check-in, they send breakfast and drink menus. The butler was very responsive to messages in the WeChat group, but the complimentary bicycle rental was never mentioned.
Dining: Breakfast is à la carte, and the presentation is exquisite. However, the taste was just so-so. The beef brisket noodle soup had very hard noodles, and the Spanish omelet was quite greasy. The biggest issue was that some breakfast dishes took an excessively long time to be served. The afternoon tea offers some paid snacks that tasted good. We also set aside one evening to dine at the hotel. The crispy farm duck and stir-fried cured meat with fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the black pepper short ribs! The late-night snack also included two soups (one sweet, one savory) and a fruit platter.
Cleanliness: On our first night, while getting ready, we found a long hair that didn't belong to us on the showerhead. For a hotel in this price range, that's really unacceptable, and I hope they pay more attention to this in the future!

The room's viewing balcony directly faces the Li River's karst peaks, offering a picturesque panorama of misty mountains and waters, especially at dawn and dusk. Every photo taken here turns into a beautiful, atmospheric shot.
The room boasts top-tier amenities: a Sealy mattress paired with high-end long-staple cotton bedding from Carnation, and soft, skin-friendly down pillows that ensured a peaceful night's sleep even for someone who usually struggles to sleep in new beds. The bathroom features Hansgrohe fixtures and Duravit sanitary ware, along with a full set of luxury Bulgari/Acqua di Parma toiletries and skincare products, known for their elegant fragrances and excellent feel on the skin. A Dyson hairdryer and BOSE sound system are standard. The mini-bar offers complimentary drinks and snacks, and thoughtful details like bedside earplugs and feminine hygiene products are also provided.
The Shikoku Restaurant (食山餐厅) specializes in authentic and innovative Guilin cuisine, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The afternoon tea presentation is exquisite, and enjoying it amidst the mountain and river scenery creates a wonderful ambiance. A dedicated 24-hour personal butler provided seamless service throughout, from airport transfers and itinerary planning to Hanfu rental and on-demand transportation, all delivered with thoughtful discretion. With its prime riverside location, premium amenities, and attentive service, this is undoubtedly the best choice for a stay in Yangshuo.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Yangshuo, and I stumbled upon this hotel on my way back. I only realized it was in an ancient town – Fuli Ancient Town by the Li River – once I arrived. The hotel's 4th floor offers the best viewing spot, and you can take a bamboo raft right downstairs. They also have free parking and charging stations. The manager was excellent, very enthusiastic, and eager to introduce us to the town's unique features and local culture. We arrived a bit late, so we missed out on the hotel's special activities, but the customer service sister upgraded our room for free, which we really appreciated. The best part was after walking through several empty streets at night, we found a restaurant that was still open! We had delicious Sichuan-style fish (the owner bought the fish fresh!) and stir-fried twice-cooked pork with snow peas. It was a wonderful experience, definitely five stars!

I have to give a big thumbs up to Hongming Travel Photography! Although this was a complimentary experience from the hotel, everyone on the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. The weather was scorching on the day of the shoot, but the photographer remained very dedicated and professional. The whole experience was fantastic, highly recommended!
We booked two rooms, and the service was thoughtful and thorough. There's a large lawn, pet feeding, and other activities, so you can easily entertain the kids all day without leaving the hotel. The experience was truly amazing.

AAntonrdlvThis is genuinely one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the moment we arrived, the overall experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the world-class service. The staff operates at the highest possible level of hospitality, demonstrating an incredible attention to detail. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their personalized approach made our stay truly unforgettable.
When it comes to dining, the daily breakfast is excellent and provides a wonderful start to the day. However, there is some room for improvement regarding the lunch and dinner offerings. While perfectly fine, the afternoon and evening menus simply did not quite match the luxurious, five-star standard set by the rest of the hotel.
Fortunately, this minor culinary drawback hardly impacted our trip. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10 to 15-minute trip away from a wide variety of fantastic local restaurants, making it very easy to find great meals nearby.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking atmosphere and unmatched customer service. We are already planning when to return!

GGuest UserThe hotel sent a car to pick us up as soon as we disembarked, even though pier pick-up wasn't included. They were worried we wouldn't find our way, so they arranged for a local driver to meet us at the dock and take us to the pick-up point (they covered the cost, we weren't charged).
The room looked exactly like the promotional photos, no exaggeration. The view from the entire room felt like living in a fairyland. The in-room amenities were excellent and comprehensive, even including a garment steamer for ironing. The hairdryer was a Dyson, the pillows were Atour, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The air conditioning was smart and zoned, a very thoughtful and practical design. Even for someone with high standards like me, it was impressive and a pleasant surprise!
The hotel butler service was genuinely 24/7 online, with an excellent attitude. They even remembered our preferences. The hotel's security and privacy measures were top-notch. My husband and I initially planned to stay for only two days, but we extended it by another day because we enjoyed our time in Yangshuo so much.
If we hadn't been comfortable at the hotel, we might not have fully enjoyed our daytime activities or been in the right mood to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the mountains and rivers. The hotel's coffee and dining were also excellent. There's even a beautiful lotus pond right across from the hotel. Next time my husband and I visit, we'll definitely stay here again; it's truly wonderful!
The cleanliness was impeccable, everywhere was spotless, including the ground floor gardens, which were meticulously maintained. There were mosquito coils placed at the room entrance, and the rooms had screens, so there were genuinely no bugs. It was the first time I've experienced a hotel with such genuine care. I even bought a Zhuang brocade bag at the hotel, which wasn't expensive. The whole experience was truly fantastic!

XXiaomizhouLouOur two-day stay was absolutely delightful. The butler was incredibly responsive and proactive, and the housekeeper's attention to detail, both with general cleaning and turndown service, was exceptional. All the hotel staff were highly professional. There are also many small animals to feed on-site, including peacocks, ducks, alpacas, and fish, and guests can participate in hotel activities like making hydrangeas.
What truly moved me was on the day we checked out. There was a brief downpour, and I lay in bed, watching the lush greenery outside, listening to the patter of rain on the leaves. It was incredibly relaxing and felt like all my worries melted away. Even more special, a peacock took shelter from the rain right under the eaves of our room's patio. I quietly watched it preen its feathers through the glass, a moment that felt uniquely ours. Thank you, Banyan Tree, for leaving me with such a precious memory before I left Guilin. Every time I think of Guilin in the future, this moment will come to mind, and I feel it was all worth it.

I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views!
**Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍
**Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍
**Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩
**Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece!
