"I loved my stay at Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo! The mountain views here are absolutely stunning, every spot is so photogenic. Big thanks to Lily and Reina, the two housekeepers. They were super sweet and helpful the whole time, took care of all my requests patiently. I also wanna praise photographer Caicai. She’s really good at taking pictures! She knows perfect angles and guides me to pose naturally, all photos turned out gorgeous. The rooms are clean and facilities are nice. Great scenery, thoughtful service and amazing free photoshoot. Definitely my top pick for Yangshuo, I will come back again!"

"The environment speaks for itself, just look at the pictures. It's definitely worth it; I had a very comfortable stay for several days. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. No need to go out, perfect for anyone looking for a hotel to just relax and unwind. The service was excellent, and there's a cafe on the ground floor where guests get a 10% discount. Even though it's a hotel coffee shop, the coffee is delicious! They also have Whiskey Sours, so you can enjoy a drink in the evening. They really pay attention to the details in their service, and I noticed they're quite meticulous about the public areas, which is really important. Some hotels don't focus enough on the design of their ground-floor common spaces."

"I was incredibly satisfied with this hotel, I absolutely loved it. The receptionist was very kind and even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a balcony with a great view. The room's amenities and supplies were very tasteful, and the bed was so comfortable, I had a good night's sleep every night. The café on the 5th floor offers stunning views of the Li River and the surrounding mountains. There's free afternoon tea every day, and you can even try on traditional ethnic costumes for photos. It's close to West Street, so you can easily explore the night market in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"My stay at Man Shi Guang during the Chinese New Year was an absolute delight! A five-star review is a must! 🌟 The moment I entered the lobby, I was warmed by the festive New Year decorations. The receptionist's service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and welcoming. A special shout-out to the Mountain View King Room: impeccably clean, spotless. I absolutely loved the room layout, especially the floor-to-ceiling windows. Waking up in the morning and asking the smart speaker to open the curtains was breathtaking—a panoramic view of rolling green hills against a clear blue sky. This is true ”Man Shi Guang”—I'll definitely come back!"

"We stayed in Yangshuo, China, at the Waterside Boutique Hotel by the river. The staff were very friendly and highly customer-oriented. We booked a room with a panoramic view, and the scenery from our window was absolutely fantastic, overlooking the mountains and the river. We could even watch the rafting from our room. The river itself was just two minutes from the hotel, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. It was a wonderful place, with fresh air and very kind, pleasant people all around. At the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, especially a young woman named Minnie, who speaks excellent English. We saw her every day, and she was always available to help us with translation and any assistance we needed. Whenever we wanted to visit local attractions, she immediately offered to arrange transportation, purchase tickets, and even helped us book and buy tickets to Ruyi Peak at a lower price than we would have paid ourselves at the ticket office. Thanks to her help, we even saved 60 yuan. We are truly delighted that we chose to stay at this hotel and visit Yangshuo. We would like to sincerely thank Minnie for her hospitality, as well as the entire staff for their excellent service. We have such wonderful memories from our stay. We truly hope to return to this hotel and to Yangshuo again with our friends and family. Everything was simply perfect."

"The only advantage is its proximity to the Yulong River. You can take a shortcut through the neighboring hotel's path to the riverside, which is only a few hundred meters away. The nearest bamboo raft pier is also not far, about a ten-minute walk. I was misled by the pictures earlier, thinking it was a hotel, but it's actually just a guesthouse. The hardware facilities, breakfast (just a simple bowl of noodles, milk, etc.), cleanliness, and service are all at a guesthouse level, so don't expect too much. Additionally, the value for money is just average. However, given that it was during the May Day peak season (which is understandable), the 300+ yuan room only offered views of the adjacent building with no real scenic view. (Even the 700+ yuan rooms and the small rooftop pool, due to the location, primarily offer views of some mountains and houses, so the scenery is generally unremarkable). Regarding transportation, we arrived at night and drove along a winding mountain road for quite a while. During peak holidays, traffic jams are common. PS: If you're just staying temporarily, it's not a big issue, but if you have other options, I'd recommend looking at larger hotels."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The room was amazing, and the bathroom with the panoramic view made it feel truly special. The rooftop pool was великолепent, and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us rent a scooter and even taught us how to ride it. They also kindly cut up fruit for us whenever we asked and gave us a lot of useful help with getting around the city. The hotel also provides an iron, washing machine, and dryer, which was a huge advantage during our long trip. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Special thanks to the receptionist who checked us in — the chubby guy with glasses working the evening shift — and also to the girl with glasses who works in the mornings. Both of them provided outstanding service and made our stay even more memorable!"

"Wonderful and friendly staff, especially Xiao Jia who was very accommodating, helpful and kind. Although her English was limited, she went out of her way to use translation apps to assist us. Kindness goes a very long way to make an enjoyable stay. We stayed for one night, the room was comfortable, spacious, clean, bright and almost exactly as pictured- however our room was on the 2nd floor which meant that people from the road could easily see us when the curtains are open - of course we want to open the curtains to see the stunning view, but would prefer to be on a higher floor away from the road. Aside from that, the location was fantastic, just walking distance from the popular shui e di wharf for river rafting. Easy to access foot path that runs for miles alongside Yulong river. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner that was provided smelled great! The shower was strong and the bathtub filled up quickly. Didn’t try the swimming pool but it looked a good enough for a casual leisurely swim. The breakfast was local style noodles, sweet potato, steamed bun and boiled egg which was quite nice to try. Together with tea, coffee or soya milk. I would recommend this place for a short stay, and would be happy to come back and visit again."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like stepping into a landscape painting – the best choice for my Yangshuo trip! I did a lot of research for this Yangshuo trip and finally chose Xishi Manor (Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Branch). Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. 📍 Location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is about 150 meters east of Jima Pier. It's a three to five-minute walk to the pier, so you can sleep in and then head straight down to catch a bamboo raft on the Yulong River (the best section from Jima to Comprehensive Pier). You can rent a scooter right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute ride to the Ten-Mile Gallery and West Street. Guilin Romance Park is also very close. It offers flexible travel without being noisy. 🏡 Karst peaks right outside your window. I booked a mountain-view terrace king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the distant mountains, clouds, and rice paddies perfectly. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the mist slowly clear while still in bed was an indescribable feeling. The room is newly renovated in a French minimalist style, featuring smart voice control for the entire room, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, and a super-large projector. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly – the kind of comfort where you just fall asleep after a day of exploring. 💦 1000㎡ Infinity Pool + 3000㎡ Large Lawn = Never wanting to leave. The pool faces the green mountains directly, and the water quality is excellent. The light is softest around 3-4 PM, making any pose look like a high-end French holiday photo. The large lawn is wonderfully soft. In the evening, sitting there and waiting for an 'orange sea' sunset 🌅, as the sunset glow enveloped the lawn, pool, and distant mountains in warm light – at that moment, I thought, ”This is how you should chill in Yangshuo.” 👩💼 Service and extra experiences add a lot of value. • Free ethnic-style travel photography upon check-in (3 retouched photos). The photographer will take you to various spots by the pool, on the lawn, and in the courtyard, with a high success rate for great shots. • Free afternoon tea daily at 3:00 PM, featuring handmade persimmon cakes with osmanthus tea. Sitting in the courtyard with the breeze is so therapeutic. • Breakfast from 8-10 AM, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles and both Chinese and Western options. • There's a children's play area downstairs, which is very convenient for families with kids. • Free parking with charging stations, and pet-friendly ♡ Small tip: During peak season, it's advisable to confirm the check-in cleaning progress with the butler in advance. The pool can get a bit crowded in the afternoon; if you want to take photos with reflections, go between 9-10 AM in the morning. Overall, Xishi Manor is not one of those 'looks good in photos but mediocre to stay in' influencer hotels. It's a resort hotel where the views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. If you want to slow down and not rush through attractions during your visit to Yangshuo – this is definitely the place for you. I'll be back next time! 🍊"
