"We absolutely loved our stay! The room was amazing, and the bathroom with the panoramic view made it feel truly special. The rooftop pool was великолепent, and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us rent a scooter and even taught us how to ride it. They also kindly cut up fruit for us whenever we asked and gave us a lot of useful help with getting around the city. The hotel also provides an iron, washing machine, and dryer, which was a huge advantage during our long trip. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Special thanks to the receptionist who checked us in — the chubby guy with glasses working the evening shift — and also to the girl with glasses who works in the mornings. Both of them provided outstanding service and made our stay even more memorable!"

Hotel near Yulong River National Tourist Resort,Yangshuo
Xishi Manor is a French-style countryside resort located right in the core area of Shili Gallery, Yangshuo, with direct views of the iconic karst peaks of Yulong River. It is ideal for families with kids, couples on romantic getaways, and solo travelers looking for a quiet escape. All rooms start from 45㎡, with large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding mountain landscape. Select rooms come with private balconies and mountain-view bathtubs, and selected rooms feature full smart voice control for easy convenience. Each room offers unobstructed views of the peaks, letting you wake up to a living ink painting. The property features a 1000㎡ mountain-view swimming pool and 3000㎡ open lawn, perfect for picnics, photoshoots, and casual strolls. It is a 3-minute walk to Jima Wharf for Yulong River bamboo rafting, and electric scooters are available for rent to explore nearby Shili Gallery. There is an indoor children's playground, daily handcraft activities, friendly interaction with farm animals, and on-site complimentary 3-photo professional travel photoshoot with ethnic costumes included with every stay. It is also pet-friendly, with spacious on-site free parking and EV charging stations available. Complimentary daily afternoon tea is included for all guests. Children's amenities including baby bathtubs, children's bathrobes and slippers are available on request. Late checkout can be arranged subject to room availability. Well-behaved pets are welcome to stay with additional cleaning fee.

"When I was planning my itinerary, I decided to stay at the Jiima Pier in Yangshuo. It's super convenient to get to the Ten-Mile Gallery and Xiatang Village (both great photo ops!) from there, as they're just a short distance left and right from the hotel. The Yulong River rafting (from Jiima to Zonghe Pier) is also only about a 300-meter walk away. Happytel is probably the best in terms of facilities and environment in this area (though it's also the most expensive, naturally). The service, breakfast, and cleanliness are also a cut above your average guesthouse. They have all the amenities you could ask for, including a swimming pool, self-service laundry room, and parking. The hotel also offers electric bike rentals (40 yuan/day, which is a bit pricier than the 25-30 yuan/day rentals nearby, but the convenience of picking up and returning it right at the hotel makes it worth it – just park it next to the lobby and leave the key at the front desk when you're done for the night). On the day we checked out, due to our schedule, we had to leave by taxi at 7 AM. The restaurant thoughtfully arranged bread and milk for us (even though they don't open until 8 AM!), which deserves a huge thumbs up! One minor drawback: the toilet in the room is very water-efficient, but while it has strong suction, it's also quite loud. It's one thing for your own room to be noisy, but the toilets flushing upstairs are also very loud, and it's even more noticeable at night. If possible, the hotel management should really try to improve this – perhaps by replacing the toilets or adding sound insulation to the pipes between floors!"

"I stumbled upon this hotel during my trip to Yangshuo, and the experience was fantastic! It's perfect for families with kids or groups of friends. Check-in was quick and the service was excellent; they responded promptly to any requests. My kids loved the second-floor pool. Playing and relaxing in the water was so relaxing; they didn't want to get out and lingered there. The Mijia self-service washing machine is incredibly convenient for travelers, making laundry a breeze. The eighth-floor café has a stunning view—perfect for taking amazing photos. Relaxing with a coffee is so soothing; the surrounding mountains outside the window are like a miniature version of the famous Chinese landscape painting. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and all the appliances were Xiaomi smart home devices. The lights and TV were conveniently controlled by voice. You can even watch the sunrise from the room, so there's no need to get up early to go to Xiangong Mountain. The soundproofing was excellent; it was quiet at night, and I slept soundly until morning. It has all the facilities for eating, drinking, playing, exercising, and having fun with kids. It's incredibly good value for money and I highly recommend it. The hotel is also very thoughtful and considerate. It's definitely my next hotel in Yangshuo."

[”I've found a hidden gem of a guesthouse on Yangshuo West Street! The overall environment is comfortable and quiet, the room is clean and tidy, making for an exceptionally relaxing stay. The guesthouse has a bunch of fluffy cats and a gentle, adorable dog. Petting cats and walking the dog cures all travel fatigue. The owner is super friendly, and the location is very close to West Street, making it incredibly convenient for going out and eating. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Yangshuo, highly recommend!”,”The most delightful stop on my trip to Yangshuo was right by West Street, a peaceful haven amidst the bustle. The moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The room decor was cozy and clean, and the bedding was soft, making it incredibly relaxing to lie down after a busy day.\n The biggest surprise at the guesthouse was the array of small animals in the courtyard. There were groups of adorable cats, each with its own charm, who would actively come over to rub against you and ask for pets. There was also a well-behaved, affectionate dog. Sitting in the courtyard, petting the cats and playing with the dog, while looking out at the mountains and water, instantly calmed all my worries.\n The owner was thoughtful and attentive, even sharing tips on which West Street eateries to avoid. The hygiene was excellent, with absolutely no pet odors. This healing little courtyard is perfect for a getaway. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Yangshuo!”,”I found a heavenly guesthouse on Yangshuo West Street! ✨\nThe environment is so comfy I didn't want to leave, the courtyard is pure healing!\nLoads of soft, cuddly cats to pet, plus a super well-behaved dog for company.\nComing back from West Street to pet the furbabies just boosts my travel happiness to max!\nRoom is clean and tidy, owner is warm and caring, location is perfect.\nA must-stay for animal lovers, you can't go wrong here!”,”Five-star rating! The guesthouse location is excellent, right next to West Street, making travel very convenient. The interior environment is tranquil and comfortable, and the rooms are meticulously cleaned, providing an excellent stay experience. The owner has several gentle cats and an adorable dog, creating a warm and healing atmosphere; the animals are friendly and quiet. The owner's service is warm, attentive, and detail-oriented. It offers great value for money, highly recommended for friends visiting Yangshuo.”]

On my first day in Yangshuo, I checked into the Zaishui Yifang Resort Hotel. As soon as I entered the room, I was deeply captivated. The room design was stunning, and the view outside the window was breathtaking. With two large floor-to-ceiling windows, I could open the curtains and enjoy the mountains of Yangshuo and the blue sky. The combination of green and blue created a powerful visual impact. The room decor was in a natural wood style, making it feel particularly cozy and homey. Amenities like the bathtub, toilet, and automatic curtains were all well-equipped. The bed was also very soft, and there was a tea room where I could relax and enjoy tea. The vanity area had two mirrors and two sinks, making it very convenient for two people to get ready. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, right beside the scenic mountains and rivers of Yangshuo. Swimming here was incredibly enjoyable. My friend and I swam here in the evening, admiring the scenery – it was a truly unforgettable memory. The next morning, there was a rich and delicious breakfast, and the breakfast area had a great atmosphere as well. This guesthouse, or 'minsu' as they call it, actually surpasses many mid-to-low tier chain hotels. They offer free breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts, and while the selection isn't huge, it's pretty decent. The laundry room is incredibly well-equipped; there are two of them on-site with plenty of washing machines and dryers, which is super convenient for long trips. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a brush in the laundry sink. They've also thought of many thoughtful little details, like bags for clothes, disposable and regular slippers, conditioner in the bathroom, earplugs, unlimited bottled water, and even a tip in the room advising guests that they can hang clothes near the air vent. The hotel also sends daily WeChat reminders about meal times and asks if I want my room cleaned (though this is standard for chain hotels, I've stayed in guesthouses that don't clean your room during extended stays). All in all, it's better than many big-name hotels; I even asked the front desk if it was a chain hotel! The only slight downside might be that they don't offer a shuttle service in Yangshuo city, but taxis are very convenient and quite affordable. There's also a place to see lotus flowers nearby, but the water level was high these past two days, so I couldn't enjoy that.

Hidden deep within the Ten-Mile Gallery, this hotel completely isolates itself from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The sense of escapism, in my opinion, is almost comparable to the Lux* Chongzuo, making for a truly satisfying vacation. As a well-established luxury brand originating from Indonesia, it's impressive how it has rooted itself amidst the natural beauty of Yangshuo while still deeply preserving its Indonesian heritage. For instance, the breakfast features an Indonesian-style set menu, all freshly prepared à la carte. The guest room walls are adorned with traditional Balinese Ubud Batik wax paintings. During turndown service at night, candles are lit to warm aromatic essential oils, replicating the local Balinese pre-sleep ritual. The pool is paved with unique Indonesian stone, appearing grey when dry but revealing a beautiful blue-green hue when submerged in water. The hotel's service and quality are exceptional: the butler's WhatsApp replies were prompt, and despite the high greenery coverage, I wasn't bitten by a single mosquito during my two-day stay, indicating excellent pest control. The 450 sqm single-bedroom standalone villa is spacious, and the private pool is ample in both size and depth. Amenities include Cha Ling toiletries, a brand under LV, and the rooms are equipped with Bose speakers and Laifen hair dryers, ensuring top-notch hardware. It's rare for a hotel to maintain its original quality and standards after many years of operation, unlike many domestic hotels that gradually cut costs and downgrade after just a year or two. If you're looking for an immersive escape into nature in Yangshuo, I truly believe this place is worth a special trip. At the very least, if I get another chance to visit Yangshuo, this will still be my go-to resort for a second stay.

Yangshuo Sugar House

Yangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself. My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels. The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks. Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

The room was spacious and the location was super convenient. It's really close to Ten-Mile Gallery and Guilin Romance Park. Plus, it's right by West Street but surprisingly quiet. You can easily rent an electric scooter to explore all of Yangshuo! Oh, and the plums at the hotel were delicious 😋. The front desk staff, both the guys and the girls, were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving great recommendations for sightseeing routes. Yangshuo's scenery is just breathtaking!

This is the best hotel in Yangshuo. Compared to The Sugarcane, VOCO, Hwa Peng, and Banyan Tree, it offers the best value for money. The staff are well-trained and provide genuine assistance. Even after checking out, they continued to answer all our questions about our itinerary. We stayed in the Jingxuan Villa, which was comfortably sized with excellent facilities. The nightly turndown gifts were a lovely touch. The travel photography service was also good, and the photographer had a great attitude. The entire garden landscape is beautifully maintained, and the various small animals like peacocks, geese, ducks, goldfish, and alpacas provided a wonderful and relaxing experience for guests. If you're driving, the hotel's location isn't remote at all. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Ten-Mile Gallery, and also 20 minutes to take a bamboo raft on the Yulong River. Xingping Ancient Town Pier is only half an hour away. Personally, I think it's far superior to the guesthouses near the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River – there's simply no comparison. We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay. It left a deep impression on our trip to Yangshuo.

📍 **Great Location, Yet Peaceful** The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from West Street, but surprisingly quiet. It was a really comfortable stay. 🏊‍♀️ **Five-Star Facilities** The huge swimming pool and kids' play area kept my children entertained for hours—they didn't want to leave! A must-visit if you're traveling with little ones. 📸 **Picture-Perfect Spot** The Sky Mirror on the 9th floor of Building A offers breathtaking views! A trip to Yangshuo isn't complete without snapping some beautiful photos here. 🍳 **Delicious Breakfast** The restaurant served a rich and tasty breakfast that satisfied our whole family. 🛁 **Highly Recommend This Room Type** We stayed in the 270-degree balcony room with a private plunge pool and a large bathtub. The room offered direct views of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers. Soaking in the pool, enjoying snacks, and admiring the scenery—it was truly luxurious!

Arandor Hotel offers excellent value for money overall. The two buildings are cleverly laid out, and it's just a 50-meter walk to the lively main street. Right outside, you'll find a variety of delicious food options like Master Fu Beer Fish, authentic Guilin rice noodles, and Guming bubble tea. The hotel features an outdoor pool, and their e-scooter rentals are very reasonably priced, making it super convenient to explore the surrounding attractions. The biggest surprise was the hotel's exclusive observation deck on the 8th floor. The views are absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the karst peaks and picturesque landscapes. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves photography; the atmosphere is truly enchanting. The staff are very responsive and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently. Afternoon tea includes local specialty snacks, and the lobby offers free, refreshing Luo Han Guo (monk fruit) water all day. The only minor drawback is that with the recent heavy rains in Yangshuo, the room felt a bit damp. It would be even more perfect if the rooms were equipped with refrigerators. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yangshuo!

Unbeatable location, but seriously disappointing when things went wrong Let's start with the biggest win: this hotel is smack-dab in the middle of absolutely everything! You literally cannot ask for a better spot – walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants, and transport. For location, it gets a perfect 10/10. Now for the tough part. We had the really bad luck that the hotel experienced a major water supply issue during our stay. And I mean major – we couldn't use the toilet, take a shower, or even wash our hands. For any traveler, that's a complete nightmare and honestly unacceptable for a hotel stay. To give them some credit, the hotel did try to smooth things over by offering our entire family free breakfast as compensation. While the gesture was nice, I have to be blunt: free breakfast just doesn't cut it when you can't perform basic daily necessities. For the level of inconvenience we endured – not being able to shower or flush the toilet – the hotel should have offered a much more appropriate solution, such as a partial refund for the affected night(s). My verdict? Book this place for the incredible location – you won't beat it. But my strong advice is: if anything major goes wrong during your stay, don't settle for a free meal. Push for proper financial compensation, because a few croissants and coffee simply don't make up for not having running water. Great spot, but they really need to step up their customer service game when serious issues arise!
