"Very clean and confirmed. Light switches and outlets by head board. Pool was nice, sometimes it is heated. Office staff super nice. Even though i checked out they still let me from same day and use the lobby bathroom to change. If my room hadn't already been cleaned they would have let me wash off but wasn't a big deal to me. Walking right outside there are plenty of places to eat and xijie west street is a straight shot about 10min walk from here. They offer mopeds to rent as well but i didn't used that service."

"Traveling with my mini poodle for almost a month, Guilin was our last stop: - The location is pretty good. You drive through fields to reach the gate, and inside there's a large green area. - The hotel claims to have opened in 2026, but judging by its appearance, it's either a rebranding or a change of ownership. It looks about 80-90% new. The outdoor landscaping, however, is still under construction. - Parking was a mess (just park anywhere, no one cares). - The room interior was nice, but unfortunately, the floor-to-ceiling window was covered in dead insects – a colorful, large patch. - The large bathtub by the window was purely decorative. I personally don't mind, but I was worried a nosy auntie from the next balcony might see something. - The most disappointing part was breakfast. They said dogs aren't allowed because it's an enclosed space... I looked at the huge restaurant, with all its glass doors and windows open, facing the pool. There were only 5 or 6 people, and a dozen tables were empty. - Fine, I thought. Many restaurants don't allow dogs. So I asked if we could just have a separate table, far away, maybe twenty meters, so we wouldn't disturb anyone. Plus, with all the glass doors open, it was breezy from three sides. But the front desk just said, 'No, it's an enclosed space, it would bother others.' - Well, what else could I do? We just left without eating. - It's listed as 'pet-friendly' on Trip.com. I guess they're just trying to grab whatever business they can during the off-season. Being 'pet-friendly' is just a click of a button for them. - It's a complete scam, pretending to be pet-friendly while not actually delivering. - We checked out early and drove home. On the way, I checked my phone and saw several calls (including texts) from Trip.com and the hotel, offering to waive one night's fee. Seriously?! I'm not short a few hundred yuan; I just want to leave a review! - This isn't an over-the-top review. I just want to express that if they can't genuinely be 'pet-friendly,' why bother with the false advertising? It's a waste of everyone's time."

VValeria_kmrvIf I could, I would leave 10 comments to explain how exceptional this hotel is. Fist, the host is the friendliest person I ever met. She speaks good English and helped us to prepare the program to visit Yuangshuo. She suggested us places we would never find ourselves and it made our stay incredible. The hotel also rent brand new scooters for 40 yuan only. She also helped us to get back the sweater we forgot in our previous hotel and organised the delivery. Secondly, the hotel very cozy. You can enjoy the view on mountains directly from your balcony. The reception has many cute cats and the dog. I don’t suggest people travelling with big luggage’s to choose the smallest type of room, but with my boyfriend we were backpacking so it didn’t cause any inconvenience. Finally, I want to highlight all the small intentions you will find. You can ask for all toiletries you can imagine (even sunscreen that can be very useful). There are fruits, snacks and good coffee in the morning. One day the host gifted us face masks and beauty kit. Thanks a lot one more time, you made our stay an incredible!

AAntonrdlvThis is genuinely one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the moment we arrived, the overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the world-class service. The staff operates at the highest possible level of hospitality, demonstrating an incredible attention to detail. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their personalized approach made our stay truly unforgettable. When it comes to dining, the daily breakfast is excellent and provides a wonderful start to the day. However, there is some room for improvement regarding the lunch and dinner offerings. While perfectly fine, the afternoon and evening menus simply did not quite match the luxurious, five-star standard set by the rest of the hotel. Fortunately, this minor culinary drawback hardly impacted our trip. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10 to 15-minute trip away from a wide variety of fantastic local restaurants, making it very easy to find great meals nearby. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking atmosphere and unmatched customer service. We are already planning when to return!

WWusuobunengdexiaoheigeI’d been eyeing this place since its Alila days, but only managed to visit after it was delisted. Post-delisting, it feels too much like an influencer hotspot, losing that luxury resort charm. Our room was arranged too close to the road. The trucks speeding along the mountain road made closing the windows almost useless. What I found most unacceptable were the linens. I really want to ask, how many years have these linens been in use? Whether it was the pillows or the duvet, there was absolutely no sense of comfort or luxurious embrace you’d expect from a luxury resort. Just rough, heavy, suffocating fabrics, combined with the noisy traffic from the road, made for terrible sleep. I strongly suggest the hotel updates its linens, especially the pillows, as they are crucial, while also upgrading other hardware. The hotel is beautiful, but that's all it has going for it. Reconstruction under a historical building gives it a new narrative, but from many angles, the operations feel more like hype than substance. After seeing the business trends in Yangshuo, it's hard for this place not to follow suit. I still recommend everyone to come and experience it, but when the only link a hotel has to luxury resort status is its high price, it's difficult for it to truly thrive.

GGuest UserThis trip was with my parents, both elderly, touring Guangxi province, and Yangshuo was our second stop. Due to heavy rain the night before in Guilin (our first stop), the Li River was very muddy and offered little to see. However, this Alanduo Resort Hotel truly surprised me in a good way. Overall, I found it better than a hotel I stayed at next to Guihai Qinglan in July 2025. Here are the specifics: **Facilities:** Quite comprehensive. A minor disappointment was that in our suite, two out of the four sets of toiletries were for children. I didn't specifically ask for adult toiletries, but I had communicated with the hotel via WeChat the previous night about my two 70-year-old parents traveling with me. So, it felt a little lacking in attentiveness or perhaps they forgot. I'm sure the hotel will be more considerate next time and notice these unspoken guest needs. **Hygiene:** Generally good, nothing to complain about here, so I won't elaborate. **Environment:** The rooftop viewing platform and the outdoor pool on the second floor are major highlights of the hotel. (Though it was raining the day we arrived in Yangshuo, so we couldn't enjoy the pool, which was a bit of a shame. I didn't have a strong desire to swim and hadn't packed a swimsuit, so I didn't inquire if the water had been changed after the rain.) **Service:** The hotel's value-added services, such as complimentary fruit, afternoon tea, snacks, and late-night supper, were all quite good. It's a pity there was no coffee. (Speaking of coffee, I really want to complain – there are so few cafes or places offering coffee in Yangshuo! Even Yangshuo train station doesn't have a self-service coffee machine or a coffee shop. Most ridiculous, the only 3-4 convenience stores at the station don't even have instant coffee. There's a coffee stall in the parking lot outside the station; whether the coffee is drinkable is up to fate, and the owner wasn't there, so the neighboring vendor called her and she said she wasn't coming.) Additionally, there's a sign at the hotel front desk about discounts for attraction tickets and shows, which I confirmed to be legitimate. Finally, I have to say, the hotel's customer service representative was a bit too honest. I only took 2-3 photos related to the hotel. I asked her for photos so I could write a review, and honestly, none of the ones she provided were usable. She probably doesn't understand what customers looking at reviews want to see. So, everyone, please make do with the picture of the hotel suite's master bedroom.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was a mixed bag. The hotel's interior is elegant, but there's no real view outside, just a messy village. The price was on the higher side, but the overall service and attention to detail didn't match the cost, leading to an average experience. **What I Liked:** 1. **Well-equipped and nicely decorated rooms.** They helped bring luggage to the room, replenished bottled water, and were quick to open the door when I forgot my key. 2. **Free feeding of peacocks and ducks** in the garden was a nice, enjoyable touch. 3. The signature beer fish and green vegetable dishes tasted good. **Areas for Improvement and Specific Issues:** 1. **Restaurant dishes didn't match the menu; feedback was ineffective.** For dinner on May 15th, I ordered bamboo rice, expecting fresh rice steamed in a bamboo tube. Instead, it was actually stir-fried glutinous rice with cured meat served in a bamboo container, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. When I reported this to the waiter, they said it had always been prepared this way, and my feedback led to no resolution. 2. **Lack of attention to detail at breakfast.** During breakfast on May 16th, the hot milk and soy milk containers had no labels. Staff only put up labels after a guest pointed it out. The fried egg station was slow, requiring a wait, and the service wasn't as thoughtful or organized as it should be. At the noodle station, no one paid attention, and the server was indifferent. 3. **Specialty dishes were poor quality and overpriced.** The prices were even higher than a typical five-star hotel. For lunch on May 16th, I ordered braised goose with taro. The dish wasn't prepared authentically; the goose had a ***** smell, dry meat, and obvious signs of being pre-roasted. The goose and taro flavors were disjointed, and the sauce wasn't absorbed, making me suspect it wasn't freshly cooked but pre-made. Despite the high price, the dish was far from what was expected. After I complained, they only offered a small complimentary fruit platter, which felt like a perfunctory gesture. 4. **Lack of professional service and overpriced activities.** The afternoon tea on May 16th was limited to only sweet pastries. When I asked about the bamboo raft pricing, the staff on duty vaguely said they didn't know, showing a lack of professionalism. After expressing my dissatisfaction, another staff member eventually provided the price, which was significantly higher than outside docks. The hiking activity in the park also incurred an additional charge. 5. **Inadequate room cleaning service.** On the morning of May 16th, I pressed the 'make up room' button twice, but no one came to clean. I eventually had to actively contact housekeeping for the room to be cleaned.

GGuest UserI've been traveling for about ten days, and the staff at this hotel left the best impression on me. My itinerary was decided quite last-minute, and it was already late when I arrived in Guilin. I wanted to book a hotel along the Li River, and luckily I found Earth Village, which offers excellent value for money. The location is fantastic, with plenty of food options nearby. The overall cleanliness is good, and every staff member I encountered offered service with a smile. Even when the front desk was surrounded by people, they greeted me with a smile and patiently helped me check in. They mentioned a complimentary goodnight dessert during check-in, but I was pleasantly surprised when they reminded me again at the actual time! Full marks! This hotel left a wonderful impression on my brief trip to Guilin. I'll definitely stay here again next time (I forgot to take photos, so here are just a few random ones).

SSabrina IrdThe Yangshuo Lisa Boutique Hotel is a simple place, but a real hidden gem. Cozy, authentic and beautifully maintained – exactly what you look for when you want to feel at home, even far away. The staff, almost entirely female, are extremely kind, patient, always helpful and genuinely lovely. Their smiles and care make all the difference. Breakfast is excellent and generous: you choose from three dishes, but portions are large and well-balanced, both sweet and savory. I stayed in room 307 and it was fantastic: traditional tatami with a motorized pull-out table activated by a button (such a cool detail!), a relaxing atmosphere and a stunning view over the city and the karst mountains. Spotless cleanliness with daily cleaning and linen changes – always perfect. I also highly recommend the spa massages inside the hotel: professional, relaxing and truly rejuvenating – the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Highly recommended: a simple hotel, yes, but with soul, style and great attention to detail. A true little gem. 💎

AAnonymous UserGreat location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.

XXiaomage7200The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from West Street and the Li River. Nearby is Xu Beihong's former residence, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and commuting. The best part is the free parking, saving you the hassle of finding a spot if you're driving. The service was impeccable, from check-in to daily needs, everything was quick and attentive. The staff's smiles throughout the entire process made for a warm and welcoming experience. A definite five-star recommendation!
