"This was genuinely one of the best days of my life. The service at this hotel is beyond amazing. They really pampered us in every way possible here. They offered to bring our lunch to us directly to our room, or have it ready by the time we went down to the dining area, which by the way has the most stunning panoramic view. The scenery is unforgettable, it’s straight out of a movie or cartoon, it’s just so perfect! We got the room with the rotating bed, tub, and balcony and couldn’t be happier! The food, drinks, amenities were all phenomenal and I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to write for them. We were at the point of our trip where we wanted a nice, relaxing stay with great service, and this ticked all those boxes! Our housekeepers and staff were Icey and Mayling, and they were beyond helpful even with the language barrier as I don’t speak Mandarin at all. Both them and the two female photographers who took great care of us deserve the world. If you are coming to Yangshuo, you NEED to book this hotel, it is a life changing experience. 15/10"

"After a few detours, we finally settled on this guesthouse. It has slow charging for electric vehicles, which is super friendly 😄. The service was also excellent, and there's a rooftop for drying clothes. The environment is absolutely superb! I stayed in room 201. Overall, it's worth coming back to. Downstairs, you can rent a car for 30 yuan and return it before 8 PM. It's also very close to nearby attractions and restaurants. This is my second time visiting Yangshuo; the first time, I stayed near West Street. My husband said for the second visit, we absolutely had to stay somewhere with good scenery and a great environment. For the current stay, around 300 yuan is quite affordable."

"This resort stay completely exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. It felt so open and allowed for easy movement, plus it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely unbeatable view. Whether it was daytime or evening, the scenery was so stunning that I didn't even want to leave the room. I could just lie in bed and enjoy the view, and any photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. The hotel also features a private pool, offering excellent privacy. "We simply loved this hotel, everything was perfect! Jessica at the reception was really kind and helpful for any question we had during the three days we spent there, she spoke a good English and helped us book our activities. The hotel location is also perfect, close to the river with beautiful landscape but also close to the city center and all the restaurants. The room was super clean and wide enough for the three of us. Breakfast was delicious with great variety of food including Guilin rice noodles. The rooftop is amazing and the free afternoon tea is very enjoyable there. We even had a little gift upon checking out. Thank you Xitang River View Hotel! A tip : wake up for sunrise on the rooftop!! "Pros: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from QianGuQing Park. The hotel environment and rooms are very comfortable. Although the view isn't of a scenic landscape painting, the room decor and materials are exquisite, and everything is spotlessly clean. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The shower stall is huge and surprisingly has two sets of showerheads! The butler service was also very efficient and satisfactory. Cons: There's a large new hotel construction project next to the hotel. There are various machine noises during the day, but it's quiet at night. However, the room soundproofing is so good that once the doors and windows are closed, you can't hear any outside noise at all. I am a bit concerned for the hotel, though, as once the new hotel next door is completed, it might obstruct some of the current views. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay and have already recommended it to several friends."

"We were amazed by the price quality of this hotel. Our room on the 5th floor offered beautiful views right from your bed. Amenities are high quality and the young lady at the reception was so incredibly helpful and patient with us. Thank you for that!! We used translating apps to communicate and WeChat, although it takes time, it works just fine. You can rent ok bikes and e-scooter at the hotel. For motor scooter (for bigger distances) we had to seek externally. Would recommend and come back ourselves!"

"I originally booked for one night, but I was so pleasantly surprised that I ended up staying for four nights and still didn't want to leave. Every morning, I'd wake up naturally to the beautiful scenery right outside my window – it was absolutely delightful. The hotel is brand new, and every corner looks like a picture, showing just how much effort the owner put into it. Every staff member I met was incredibly enthusiastic. I even switched rooms midway through to experience a different view, and both experiences were great: spacious rooms, large bathtubs, and fantastic views. I had a bowl of rice noodles almost every day in Guangxi, but the best ones were surprisingly made by the auntie at the hotel's free breakfast! I'll definitely be back here next time."

"This place is marvelous! It’s the coziest and most authentic hotel in China. We’ve been all over China except Xinjiang and Tibet, and never stayed at such a beautiful place. We were a bit worried about the heating in the room during winter time, because usually there is no heating in the south of China. But everything turned out fine, the hotel provided us with electric blankets, it felt super warm, and there was air conditioning heating. The staff were very friendly. They helped us to book a one-day tour with a driver to the most famous places in Yangshuo. Gave us plenty of tangerines 🍊 Thank you, Alian, Julie, Sophia and Vivienne. The territory of the hotel represents a traditional Chinese garden with a beautiful pond, ancient style bridges and pavilions. You can arrange a photo shot using traditional Hanfu costumes, which are available for free."
