I stayed at the Cloud Valley B&B on the strong recommendation of a colleague, and it did not disappoint. 1. Overall: Although the B&B has been open for over 7 years, the decor is not outdated. It has a rustic wooden style, is clean and tidy, and the rooms feature toiletries like shower gel and shampoo personally selected by the owner. Most importantly, wet wipes and toilet seat covers are provided, and all other amenities are complete. 2. Service: The proprietress, originally from Fujian and raised in Macau, offers thoughtful and attentive service. A few days before our arrival, she added us on WeChat and sent us a detailed travel map she spent over a month designing. Upon arrival, she provided us with recommendations for travel routes, scenic spots, transportation details (car and boat), and was always responsive to our inquiries. Her service deserves a 100% rating. 3. Cuisine: My colleague mentioned that her family never ate out during their stay, and we were similar. The beer duck and bamboo tube chicken soup were especially popular, and the breakfast was very rich. In the evenings, there was sweet soup and good wine. We left feeling full, satisfied, and with wonderful memories. Next time the daily grind gets too much, this place will still be an excellent escape from the city.

This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. It was so worry-free, I nearly cried tears of joy! @Yangshuo Chen's Garden Resort Hotel 📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds. 🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away! 📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard. 💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out. Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿

Plus, there's a super-sized bathtub~ Open the curtains in your room, and you're greeted by a picturesque landscape. Witnessing the awe-inspiring artistry of nature, all your worries simply melt away. No noisy hawkers, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's also an infinity pool 🏊‍♀️ and an outdoor rooftop terrace~ Upon check-in, you can enjoy: ✅ Exclusive afternoon tea ✅ Free bicycle usage ✅ Oil tea making experience ✅ Free use of traditional clothing and professional travel photography service Nearby attractions: ✅ Gongnong Bridge Just a few minutes' walk! From the bridge, you can capture photos of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Sunset and blue hour moments are incredibly beautiful~ At night, you can even see the 'Golden Dragon Parade'. ✅ Shuangliu Ferry Pavilion You can cycle there using the hotel's bikes! The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

Let's cut to the chase: I highly recommend this guesthouse!!! When we arrived, it was pouring rain outside, and we were completely drenched. The staff (a kind lady) thoughtfully offered me dry towels and hot tea, worried I might catch a cold. The room exceeded my expectations – all the facilities were excellent, and the view from the window was a breathtaking, lush green mountain. You can rent electric scooters right at the guesthouse, which is perfect if you couldn't get tickets for the Shuiedi Pier rafting the day before. You can wake up at 7 AM the next day, ride for ten minutes, and queue up on-site to buy tickets. It's a bit of a distance from the city center by scooter, about a 20-minute ride. However, being away from the crowded West Street makes for a much more comfortable stay.

This hotel is perfect for family trips and just chilling out – the experience was fantastic! The hotel environment far exceeded our expectations, tucked away in the mountains. Every photo we took felt like a professional shot. There's an infinity pool, forest hot springs, and so many scenic spots on the hillside, we couldn't stop taking pictures all day. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, and during leisure time, we could enjoy tea and mountain views, far from the crowds. It's a top choice for a relaxing getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best-located hotels I've stayed in during my seven or eight visits to Yangshuo. It's directly facing the Yulong River and the karst peaks, and every room has a view. The rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning for sunset. During the day, no motorized vehicles are allowed into the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, so it's incredibly quiet. Renting an e-scooter makes it really convenient to visit attractions like the Big Banyan Tree and Moon Hill. The amenities are top-notch; the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, and the bedding is very comfortable. I had a very satisfying stay.

The hotel was exactly as described — clean, well-located, and the staff were welcoming and so helpful. Friends and I stayed in different rooms and the entire experience was excellent. Hotel is in a great location. Easy to do a Yulong River Rafting tour (5 minutes walk away), 15 minutes from city centre and bike rentals are located right outside the hotel. It’s also just off the main road which means a peaceful nights rest. I loved that fresh linen was given everyday - not all hotels do this. Staff were kind enough to help me locate my sunglasses that I left in a Didi. They called around for me as I was unable to communicate in Chinese. I managed to retrieve them. I really appreciate that! Check-in was quick, and the room was spacious with good Wi-Fi. Food was delicious and inexpensive. Would definitely stay here again for the price, location and excellent service.

You're just a few dozen meters from the pedestrian street, truly offering a 'quiet retreat in a bustling area.' It was completely peaceful. 3. **Views & Design:** The lobby has a very stylish design, perfect for photos. From the rooftop terrace, you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery (it's supposedly the tallest building on West Street). 4. **Service & Experience:** The front desk staff, particularly the attendant/concierge, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively shared detailed tips for dining, entertainment, and activities, and even assisted with arranging an electric scooter rental. The overall experience was excellent.

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!
