Strangely, this is by far the best hotel I've stayed during my 21 days travelling in China on a USD 100-125 per night budget. It has electronic face scanner at the door (for Chinese speaker only tho, or just use the keycard like me as usual) and in-room Ai (Chinese language only) and the room size is generous, high ceiling, very well-appointed and maintained. Bathroom is super clean (aka. no corner mould). They're a bit far from the Yichang downtown, but then Didi taxi is cheap in China so we just hail a Didi for meals. They also have free airport shuttle for my 5.30am check out. Will stay here again when I'm at Yichang.

This store is very hygienic and has a great environment. The boss and his wife are also very friendly. They also arranged airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as free breakfast. This breakfast really made me feel like I was back home. It was great. If I have the chance to come here again, I will go to this store instead of going there. Thank you.

TanduoduodexiaobeixinHere's a breakdown of what I loved:
**Highlight 1: Amazing Views**
The river views from the window, especially at night, were absolutely stunning. The hotel is just a short walk to the riverside, perfect for a morning stroll or an evening bike ride after dinner. The air was so fresh, I felt completely rejuvenated!
**Highlight 2: Convenient Transportation**
We preferred taking taxis, and the hotel's location was ideal for getting anywhere easily. Parking wasn't an issue either. Plus, there were shared bikes available for rent, which was a nice bonus.
**Highlight 3: Excellent Management and Service**
The hotel management and service were top-notch. We had a dedicated concierge who was incredibly responsive and always on hand to solve any issues. Even late at night, when we couldn't figure out how to cast to the TV, they immediately sent someone from housekeeping to help.
**Highlight 4: Breathtaking Breakfast View**
The 15th-floor breakfast area offered incredible panoramic river views. Enjoying breakfast with such a stunning backdrop was truly delightful. The breakfast itself had a great mix of Western and Chinese options, and the fruits were super fresh. Definitely worth experiencing.
**Highlight 5: Thoughtful Laundry Room**
This was my first time seeing such a considerate laundry room in a hotel. There were sticky notes where you could see the previous guest's room number, and the staff regularly checked on the machines. If clothes were done, they'd contact the guest's room, unlike other hotels where laundry can sit for ages waiting to be picked up.
**Overall Impression:** This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway and a slower pace of life.

Ivy_Oh1. Hotel location is perfect as the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just diagonal opposite the hotel, and Wanda Shopping Mall is also just next to it.
2. The hotel is new, and the smell of the new wooden furniture is too strong and I guess that's why some of the doors of the unoccupied room (included mine) were open which I personally felt a bit uncomfortable as any guess may just step in to any room to do something silly.
3. I stayed for 3 nights, and 1st 2 nights was ok but on the 3rd night, someone checked-in and occupied next to my room, I was in the middle of my sleep and suddenly a piercing sound entered my ears, the sound last for almost 1 min and it seems not ending and so I contacted the counter to seek for help, the counter staff explained that the location of the toilet of room# 1310 is next to the bedframe of room# 1309, they can send me the ear plug for time being and let me change the room the next day. I told them I will be checking out the next day and I am not use to sleep with an ear plug, I hope the sound will end soon and I also tell the staff to escalate this matter up. During my check-out, the counter staff had asked how was my stay and I told her the incident too. I told her that I am not happy especially when the hotel said they can help me to change the room on the next day, my comment was if the hotel already know of this problem, so why are they still arrange guest to stay in room# 1310?? At the end of the day, I am being given some snacks and small souvenirs and 2 bottles of mineral water as compensation.
My question to the hotel: why put the blame on the design/layout and not employee training?? Why you know this is the problem but yet still allow the problematic room to be occupied?
For the seek of the reputation of the hotel, please shut down the problematic room until you fixed the problem!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Riverside Park, offering picturesque views. The service is excellent, and I highly recommend the river-view pool – it was a delightful experience to exercise with such beautiful scenery. Free parking for private cars is a plus, and the charging facilities are very convenient. This hotel is ideally located and truly the best five-star hotel with river views. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety. Although the booking information was slightly different, the room rate included a double breakfast and a complimentary double dinner set, which tasted great, and the service was excellent. At just over 700, the double room offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at The Westin again next time I'm in Yichang.

Traveling to Yichang by car, I was very satisfied with the hotel I chose, so I'd like to share a few thoughts. First off, there's free parking, and the hotel has 3 fast charging stations right on the ground level. With a total of four floors of parking, both above and underground, there are plenty of spaces, which is super convenient. The room itself is very spacious and has a window for ventilation. They provide complimentary bottled water and drinks daily. The bathtub even comes with free disposable tub liners and bath salts, and the toilet has disposable seat covers. They've truly thought of every little detail for a comfortable stay!

This is a budget hotel conveniently located near the pier. The owner is really friendly and can help you book tickets for the Two Gorges and One Gorge tour, which is about 20 CNY cheaper than buying online. It's roughly a 1km walk to the pier to catch the boat, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it quite convenient.

The room is good, the location is excellent, and the price is good. The front desk is a bit unprofessional, the ladies are listless and expressionless, and all the sundries are piled up in a conspicuous place at the front desk, which looks a bit like a county guesthouse...

The scenery is nice and suitable for taking pictures, especially the sunset and sunrise. There were no stars in the sky that night we stayed. You can pick tea for free in spring, and the tea in summer is old. The navigation occasionally leads people to a small road, don't go, in fact, the whole way is an asphalt road around the mountain.
