AAnonymous UserThis return trip felt particularly good, changing the bad experience of the first stay last week. The waiters were as friendly and kind as always, especially the two masters of the shuttle bus, who were polite and talkative. The hotel car was also very comfortable. The manager of the breakfast on the 2nd floor was particularly warm and hospitable, and greeted us warmly. This time, we didn't have to get up early to catch the group, and we didn't bump into the tour group. The food was much more comfortable, and there were more choices (it turned out that there was yogurt! There was also time to ask the sister who made noodles to add a freshly made molten egg 😃! My foreign husband didn't watch it, and there was no room for him when he was full, ha!) He said that the spring rolls were delicious, but I thought the shredded pork noodles (with eggs) were super delicious, and I ate all of them! There were also steamed sweet potatoes, red bean buns, steamed dumplings, etc. I tried them all, all of which were original methods, fresh and healthy. Although the midnight snack was simple, there were only porridge, pickles and corn buns, but it can be seen that they were all freshly made. The price booked by Ctrip is very cost-effective! The difference is obvious compared to the 2 nights hotel I booked in Wanda which was more expensive, had no services and no meals included! I just didn't find any particularly delicious food nearby 😅, I'll look for it next time!

GGuest UserWe loved our stay at Westin Yichang. A new hotel opened in 2025. It is located at the riverside with stunning river view. A bit away from the city centre but we used didi to travel around with no problem. We absolutely love where we stay. During the day we were on tour bus or away for sightseeing, in the evening we would take the kids for a swim at the indoor swimming pool. The pool is super clean and warm and its huge. You would need to wear head cover which they sell around 3 yuan. After swimming, we would catch didi to a restaurant. Didi ride is super cheap too.
The room is huge (we booked 2 beds - 2 adults and 2 kids). Beds are comfortable. The pillows might be a tad too fluffy for my liking - but thats just personal preference.
Daily housekeeping and amenities replacements which we appreciated.
Services are amazing - everyone is very friendly and kind. They dont speak much English but they tried real hard to help. Should not have any problem communicating if you download the translator apps (we did not 😅)
We loved everything about Westin Yichang - but the real star is the swimming pool for the kids to swim around in the evening.
The downside:
The dining options are a let down. It took too long to wait for the food (we were the only guests that night). And the food did not impress us.
Overall: love Westin Yichang and would stay there again next time.

GGuest UserThe room is bigger than my expectation. It is very clean and does not smell of cigarette. I especially like the hot shower. Strong and hot. Everything from bath towels, face towels, hand towels, paper cups are all wrapped up with plastic bag. I arrived late and was glad there was a restaurant on the ground floor that is still operating. The food is delicious. Especially the soup. Location wise even though is within walking distance to the HSR, I would recommend that to flag down a taxi because there is a lot of walking and with a heavy luggage it is quite challenging carrying the luggage up the stairs. There's plenty of taxi. I managed to get a taxi at 8am. Opposite the hotel at night there are lots of hawker food. Check in was fast and there is a tour desk on the ground floor I will definitely come back.

The service of the lady at the front desk is also very considerate, and overall everything is good. Very comfortable stay😌

It was a very satisfying stay, highly recommended! The room was just like the pictures, with a simple, elegant decor that I loved. The facilities were beautifully appointed, and the sanitation was very clean. It's located near the airport, making it convenient for connecting flights. They also offer airport pick-up and drop-off service. The owner was very kind and friendly! I would definitely choose this B&B again!

AAnonymous UserI'll simply say that this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Value for money, design of my liking, exceptional service, excellent location are a few of the reasons why I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation in Yichang.
I would like to mention the exceptional service given by Ms. Xiaolin, Ms. NiuNiu and Ms. MiaoMiao. They went the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one.
Room was a good size, cleaned everyday with complementary snacks and drinks replaced daily. Breakfast was really good too, we looked forward to it everyday for the 5 nights we stayed here. There is a laundry area you can use anytime you wish, a gym and a nearby park you can enjoy overlooking Yangtze river. It was easy to go around too, we booked Didi taxi even late at night and encountered no problems.
We hope to stay here again next time we visit Yichang!

When I made my reservation, I'd requested a room with good ventilation, and she kindly switched us to one with an outward-facing window. The hotel is newly renovated, and the entire property was quite clean. The only drawback was that the room next door started some floor repairs around 7 AM the following morning. The noise was incredibly loud and woke me up multiple times. I contacted Ctrip's customer service, and they were very proactive in helping to resolve the issue. Overall, I was quite satisfied, mainly due to the excellent service. The hotel was also easy to locate, with clear signage right from the high-speed rail station exit. Getting around was convenient, and taxis were readily available, though it's a bit far from the city center.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated right opposite from Sanxia Tourist Centre which is so convenience for us joining Yangtze river cruise. There also have lots of restaurant choices around, a big supermarket and shopping mall next to the hotel.
The hotel room is clean with a big picture window which offers a great view of the Yangtze river. The hotel also has a washing machine on-site (laundry detergent is also provided) and can store our luggage so that we can enjoy our last day in Yichang. However, please aware they not provide toiletries and no fringe on site.
The front desk staff is nice and suggest a nice local restaurant for our dinner. He also response very quickly on our enquiry via WeChat.
The room is definitely value for money.
