Big, clean hotel with a bar and restaurants open until late. It’s perfect for travellers, and there’s a small minimart where you can buy food and snacks. I love this hotel — highly recommended!

The room was very average, with old and outdated facilities. The towels were so stiff they could stand upright, and I have pictures to prove it. The security was very high. The hotel didn't offer breakfast, which was very disappointing. There was an older lady from Shanghai at the front desk who was very nice and made me feel very welcome! The bedside lamp in the room was broken and kept flickering, making it unusable!

I was really lucky to pick such a great hotel in New York this time. It's located in Manhattan's Financial District, super close to the 9/11 Memorial – probably just a 5-minute walk. The neighborhood has convenience stores, coffee shops, and several restaurants. Plus, multiple subway lines make it super easy to get to Midtown Manhattan or Brooklyn. Although the hotel's decor looks a bit dated, it's very well-maintained. The room interiors are comfortable, and some room types offer views of the Hudson River. On sunny days, waking up to that view made my morning every time.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in New York. - The soundproofing is excellent. - There's enough space to open two 30-inch suitcases (I had a twin bed room). - It's very close to Times Square. - A microwave is available for use. - They offer a welcome drink. - I was told the deposit would take up to 30 days to be refunded, but it came back very quickly.

Conveniently located near Wall Street with easy subway access. There's a great Danish healthy fast food restaurant nearby called Joe and the Juice, definitely worth checking out. You'll also find a pizza place, street-side taco trucks, and ice cream trucks. The hotel is very clean and has good soundproofing. Like most hotels, there's no hot water in the room, but the lobby offers refreshing lemonade and luggage storage, which is a nice touch.

The hotel's location is great; honestly, most hotels on Manhattan Island have similar locations – if you're close to uptown, you're further from downtown. There's a subway station right outside, making dining, living, and transportation very convenient. The biggest issue, though, is that the rooms don't have a refrigerator, and drinking water isn't provided, let alone a coffee machine, which most of the other hotels we've stayed in had. This meant we had to skip buying a lot of food we wanted because we couldn't store it.

I booked a room with a view of the Empire State Building, but I could only see it in a line, which was a bit disappointing. The room was a bit small, but the decoration was quite fashionable. The air conditioner was too noisy. Fortunately, it was not hot at night, so I just didn't turn it on. The location is great, it's close to everything. The hotel has its own restaurant, which tastes good. It's quite convenient for solo travelers

The Hyatt Grand Central New York is perfectly located right inside Grand Central Terminal on 42nd Street in Midtown. The subway entrance is literally right outside the door, making getting around incredibly convenient. We also got a nice perk: a $15 daily voucher to spend at the Market Place shop next to the front desk for snacks. The room size was good, and we even had a city view. The staff were friendly, and the lobby was spacious and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Honestly, I was a bit worried because the reviews weren't great, but for someone like me who only uses a hotel in New York for sleeping and spends all their time outside, this was an excellent value-for-money hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable, so even though I was tired from exploring outside, I slept really soundly. The room is small and doesn't have much in it, but honestly, I only slept at the hotel, so it didn't matter. The location is close to Times Square, about a 5-8 minute walk. For me, it was a great value hotel.

The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.
