"After a long time feeling like a workhorse, I was in a bad mood, so my best friend and I decided to take a super short staycation. We chose a place near Quancheng Park, which is conveniently located with great food and scenery. Our first choice was Huajianfu Shunlu. I'd only been to Shunlu Shuishangrenjia on the west side a few times for meals, and the waterside views always put me in a good mood while eating, so I decisively chose this place.
From check-in to the cleaning staff, almost all the service personnel had a great attitude. After checking in, a dedicated staff member escorted us to our room. Arriving at the room was just the beginning of the pleasant surprises; both the interior and exterior of the room were incredibly picturesque. We kept taking photos! So we decisively extended our hourly stay to a full day. Sitting by the window, watching the pine branches sway in the wind, hearing various birds competing in song, and seeing the dense trees of the botanical garden in the distance, while sipping the jasmine silver needle tea my friend brought, I felt instantly cured! When we got hungry from drinking tea, we went straight downstairs to Anhui Renjia for dinner. Everything was pretty good, except for a minor issue with one of the waiters' attitudes. After dinner, we walked along the corridor to the bamboo forest in the backyard to digest, and got another ढेर (pile) of beautiful photos.
In the evening, my friend and I enjoyed tea, delicious food, and good conversation in the room – it was truly delightful. The best part is, we didn't have to travel all the way to the southern mountains for this. We plan to come back to enjoy the snow in winter.
Additionally, the complimentary water was delicious, the comb was wooden, and the shampoo was surprisingly good – unlike the shampoo at Quanji, which always made my scalp itchy. The fridge also had extra iced water and drinks. The late check-out option was very practical. We didn't participate in the late-night snack or the other small activity.
I have two small suggestions. First, hygiene needs to be improved; there was a used contact lens by the bedside, which we only discovered at night. Second, since the hotel's scenery is so beautiful and there's an optional photography service, I think the clothing options could be much better. Showing some guest photos to demonstrate the shooting effect would be great. We genuinely wanted to take photos, but we didn't like any of the clothes and weren't sure how the photos would turn out, so we gave up.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel! I absolutely love places like this where you can stay upstairs, eat downstairs, and enjoy beautiful scenery!"
