Barcelona Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively. You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe. There are delicious family-run restaurants nearby, a breakfast spot downstairs (cheaper than the hotel!), and a convenience store. The hotel itself is quite traditional; not super new in terms of decor, but very clean, and the hot water works great. What's really important is that normally in Europe, if you're changing rooms, you can't move your luggage in early and have to repack everything and wait until check-in time. But here, if you just tell the front desk, you can move your bags into the new room the next day – it's brilliant! There's also a small rooftop pool with a pretty nice view. Highly recommend it, ladies! The pictures show the hotel room, the breakfast place downstairs, and a nearby family restaurant (so good 😋)."

"The hotel's cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities are all excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. However, what was extremely disappointing was the hotel's handling of late checkout. Although we were only about an hour and a half past the normal checkout time and were prepared to pay a fee, we were charged 95 Euros for an extension until only 2 PM. This price seems highly unreasonable, both in terms of the standard charge and the actual service received. What's even more regrettable is the hotel's lack of flexibility, especially given its high room rates and brand positioning. A 95 Euro charge for such a short extension felt more like an attempt to generate additional revenue. While the hotel's physical amenities are commendable, this experience severely impacted our overall stay and made us reconsider whether we would choose this hotel again in the future."

"Do not stay here if you want a clean gym, a pool with regular hours, or privacy in your room. The one night stay started out really well, until I found out the pool is only open from 10:00-16:00 every day. I had explicitly stayed at this hotel to use the pool but the pool hours coincided with the peak UV hours of the day. When I tried to go to the gym I found that the gym had no towels or cleaning clothes to wipe down the machines. When I went to the front desk the man working there was extremely rude and his behavior made me extremely uncomfortable. He came around the counter to get closer to me while we were talking so I quickly dropped this issue and went away from him. Luckily I had alcohol wipes in my bag and cleaned the gym weights myself before and after using them. Lastly when coming out of the shower two hours before check out a woman entered my room. There is a mirror opposite the shower door so to top off this awful experience, the cleaning staff saw me. naked."

"The pros are the spacious rooms and the hotel's large size with comprehensive facilities, especially the extensive conference center. The breakfast offers great value for money. The cons are that it's too old, especially the room's air conditioning; the noise it makes is unbearable, probably due to a dust-clogged internal air filter. I had to turn it off. I also assumed a hotel close to the airport would have a shuttle service, but it didn't."

"I stayed at this hotel during my solo trip, and overall, most aspects of my stay were good. The room was comfortable, and the general service met my expectations. However, my experience at breakfast was very disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable. When I arrived for breakfast, the staff member did not check my room number or booking details. Instead, he seemed to make an assumption based on my appearance and directed me to a different breakfast area downstairs. The way he spoke was quite rude and dismissive, simply telling me “your breakfast is downstairs” without any proper explanation. When I went there, I found that it was actually a group dining area with very limited food options. At first, I thought it might be temporary or due to some issue, but I later realized this was a separate, restricted breakfast intended for a group booking. This was very upsetting, as I had paid for a full breakfast like other guests. I returned to the reception to clarify the situation, but the experience had already left a negative impression. Being directed based on assumption rather than proper verification felt inappropriate and, honestly, discriminatory. No guest should be treated differently based on how they look. While the hotel has many positives, this incident significantly affected my overall experience. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously and ensures that all guests are treated fairly and respectfully in the future. Otherwise, the hotel is good, specially mentioned one girl working evening in coffee area was very friendly and nice, she guide me some place to visit"

"The front desk double-checked me in, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom hygiene was just okay; there were stains on the toilet seat, and the toothbrush provided was already unsealed. I suspect they forgot to clean the bathroom. Everything else was fine, though."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night. It's conveniently located, an 8-minute drive from the Consulado de Rusia, but you can also walk there. Dinner is available at the hotel. Parking is available for a fee, and the family room is quite large."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. Amazing location, the receptionists and conceirge were all kind and very helpful. The only issue was it got warm during the day in our room due the direction of the sun and we could not lower the thermostat to cool it down. Other than that, we had a good time and would stay here again."

"From the moment we arrived at the Midmost hotel we felt welcome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was fabulous, clean and with a very comfortable bed. We also had a wonderful outside terrace. We stayed mid-April so didn’t get the use of the dipping rooftop pool or terrace bar but it looked ideal. Although central we found the room to be very quiet and we would stay here again."

"The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and the Gothic Quarter. The facilities are relatively new, and the room size is good. The air conditioning is quiet and heats effectively, and the shower has great hot water pressure, which was wonderful for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The service was also fantastic. Our flight arrived in Barcelona in the morning, and when we went straight to the hotel, the front desk warmly welcomed us and allowed us to check in early, which was a huge relief and helped us rest and recover from our travels sooner!"
