"There aren't many hotels at Malaysia's KLIA International Airport. The Sama-Sama Hotel, a 5-star property, has been around for a long time and its facilities are a bit dated, while other airport hotels have rooms that are too small. For travelers transiting through Kuala Lumpur or needing an overnight stay, I highly recommend the ibis Styles Sepang KLIA – it's excellent! When I first saw the 4.4 rating on Trip.com, I didn't have high expectations, thinking the facilities would be very ordinary. However, my actual stay completely exceeded them, offering a surprisingly great experience! This hotel, newly opened in 2024, is exceptionally well-maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the overall design is resort-style, with lush greenery everywhere. Upon entering, you're greeted by a fresh, botanical scent, completely devoid of the usual oppressive and stuffy feeling of typical airport hotels 🍃. There’s a wide selection of room types. Solo travelers can choose a standard king or twin room, with 26㎡ of spacious, uncrowded comfort. Couples or friends can upgrade to a Superior room, and for families, the Family room with one king and one single bed can accommodate up to three people. There's also a windowless Deluxe King room, perfect for those just needing a temporary stopover and planning to rest indoors during the day. Accessible rooms are also available for guests with mobility needs. Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a separate shower and bathroom, and a safe. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, perfectly adequate for daily living and work. The amenities are top-notch. There's a large outdoor infinity pool with a shallow kids' area, complete with loungers and parasols – it's incredibly relaxing to soak in the pool and watch the sunset in the evening. The 24-hour gym has a full range of equipment. On the ground floor, there’s a casual bar with live music in the evenings, offering a very relaxed atmosphere. The STREATS restaurant serves local Malaysian dishes and international cuisine, and can accommodate Halal, vegetarian, and children's meals. The breakfast buffet has a rich variety, and buying breakfast separately at the hotel is much more cost-effective than adding it to your online booking. In addition to paid treatments like spa services, facials, and hair washes, the hotel also offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a large free outdoor parking lot, so parking is not an issue if you’re driving. The green courtyard area is expansive, perfect for an evening stroll to unwind. Real-life room photos look much better than the online pictures. The décor is positioned at a 4-star standard, but the comfort of the mattresses, soft furnishings, and bathrooms definitely rivals 5-star properties. The only major drawback is the rather poor soundproofing. You can clearly hear guests walking and talking in the hallway, and noises from adjacent rooms. Coupled with the roar of planes taking off and landing, light sleepers can easily be woken up in the middle of the night. The location is incredibly convenient, just 1 km from KLIA airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the airport with fixed schedules; remember to register and book at the front desk before check-in. It's a 5-minute drive to Mitsui Outlet Park, so you can stop by for some shopping during your layover. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers needing an overnight airport stay. It's half the price of the 5-star Sama-Sama KLIA in the same area, yet its hardware, environment, and amenities are more modern and comprehensive, making for a great transit experience 👍."

"Overall, my stay here was excellent, with many details exceeding my expectations. First off, the hotel's location is super convenient. There's a convenience store just a few steps downstairs, making it really easy to grab snacks and daily necessities. The room amenities are comprehensive, including a pot, microwave, and refrigerator, which is a huge plus for guests who like to prepare simple meals themselves. The bedding was incredibly clean and comfortable, made from soft materials, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's security was also top-notch, with strict access control for entry and exit, making me feel very safe and secure. The most satisfying aspect for me was the 24-hour Chinese-speaking service provided by the hotel—this was incredibly important to us! Whenever we had any questions, whether it was about local surroundings or how to use the room's facilities, the staff were able to respond and resolve issues promptly in Chinese, ensuring seamless communication. Additionally, the rooftop outdoor pool and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful. In the evening, watching the sky and the distant villas from the poolside was quiet and relaxing; every photo taken was picture-perfect. However, I do have a small suggestion for future guests: the bathroom area is a bit cramped and doesn't have a separate wet and dry area. Water tends to splash out during showers, often wetting the toilet paper nearby. I'd recommend stowing away the toilet paper when you check in. Also, personally, I felt the shower water wasn't particularly hot (though I might just be sensitive to cold), but it didn't significantly impact the overall experience. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money and thoughtful service. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!"

"A wonderful stay at Sama-Sama Hotel KLIA. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages, especially for travellers with early morning flights or a short transit. The convenience of being connected to the airport made our journey so much easier and stress-free. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a very restful stay, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the smooth check-in experience, the comfortable bed, and the overall relaxing atmosphere despite being so close to the airport."

While the rest of the stay was great, the breakfast food was underwhelming. Upgrading the quality and variety of the breakfast options would easily elevate the overall experience. Overall Summary A very pleasant and comfortable stay anchored by a great staff and clean rooms. If they improve the breakfast offerings, this would be an easy five-star experience."

"Missed my flight and needed a last-minute place. It's only suitable for a one-night layover! The price was cheap, and having a balcony was a major plus for me. However, the kitchen table was covered in ants, the toilet had stains, and there were no disposable amenities whatsoever. The host was responsive. Conveniently, there's a mall with restaurants right across the street, making dining easy."

"We chose this hotel near the airport for an overnight layover in Kuala Lumpur so we wouldn't have to stay at the airport. The price was reasonable, and it was a 15-minute taxi ride. The taxi cost 34 IDR, which is about 700 rubles. It's essentially an apartment – the room has two beds, a kitchen unit, a stove, a table, dishes, a refrigerator, a kettle, an iron, an ironing board, a hairdryer, a TV, an AC unit, and two ceiling fans. The bathroom is basic: a small sink, a shower without a curtain and with an instant water heater, and a toilet. Everything works. The room was pretty clean. It was perfect for getting some sleep outside the airport – my wife, child, and I were all satisfied. There isn't really a reception desk; there's a security guard who helps with what to do. We picked up the room key from a mailbox, and we received the door code when we booked the hotel. They didn't take a deposit from us for a one-night stay, but if you stay for more nights, they charge a 200 IDR deposit."

The beds are plush with soft linens, and the sound insulation works perfectly—aircraft noise from the runway barely seeps in, letting me enjoy a solid night’s sleep after a tiring international flight. All bathroom fixtures, electrical outlets and workspace facilities are well-maintained and fully functional, ideal for business travellers who need to sort out work emails in the room. The hotel staff are incredibly warm and efficient. Front desk agents handled my check-in and check-out rapidly with fluent English, patiently answering all my questions about airport shuttle times and local transport. The public lounge and convention areas are spacious and well-equipped, great if you need a quiet spot for quick meetings. If you have an early or connecting flight out of KLIA, this hotel is an absolute no-brainer. I will definitely book here again on my next business trip passing through Kuala Lumpur Airport."

"This hotel is a great option for an overnight stay before a flight. It's very close to the airport, and there are lots of convenient dining choices nearby. There's even a durian market about a 10-minute walk away. One minor inconvenience was having to walk through the parking garage every time we left; perhaps we didn't find the main exit. The host was very welcoming, providing drinking water, coffee, and snacks. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth. The only downside was the lack of proper bedding in the room, just a very thin blanket, which wasn't very comfortable. Overall, it offers great value for money, especially if you're just looking for a temporary one-night stay to catch a flight."

"Actually we booked for a 2 night stay, but our plan suddenly changed and we book an early 1 day from the actual check-in date. I contacted the homestay management and they told me to make a new booking for 1 night and from their end, they will combine my booking with the actual booking, so that i dont have to re-check-in and pay double deposit. The studio is super clean and the beds are super comfortable (it's like a zero pressure bed, where the other person won't feel your or his/her movement). Only need to add a microwave, then it will be a perfect stay."

"The service was great; the reception remembers my name and attend to me when i need help. The facilities, i didn't fully utilize the facility, except for the Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi connection is good. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanness of the toilet and the pantry, so much mold stains on the wall, floor and also the basins in the toilet and oil stains on the wall of the pantry. far but not lease, i was awaken by the next doors cooking smells. Hmmm.. Overall i didn't rest well in the property, not a very pleasant stay."
