Istanbul Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"The hotel’s location and cleanliness were very good. However, the housekeeping staff did not change the bed sheets during my stay, and the rooms could be cleaned more thoroughly. The sound insulation between rooms is not very good, and you can easily hear noise from neighboring rooms. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there is definitely room for improvement in housekeeping and soundproofing."

"Great hotel! The location is fantastic: metro and tram stops are very close, as well as a supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, and restaurants. Getting from the metro with luggage was easy, with no hills or steep paths. The staff were polite. Good breakfasts. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning in the room. Excellent soundproofing when the windows were closed (the area isn't generally noisy, but delivery trucks for nearby shops do start early in the morning)."

"I like this hotel more than the similar ones on the same street , the main entrances is spacious car/taxi can pick up guests and bags conveniently. Besides the security bag check for visitors’ make sure here is safe to stay. Concierge service is excellent."

"The best advantage of this hotel is its location, next to restaurants and bars. Heart of Istanbul. However, for those who value peace and quiet, this can also be a drawback, as in the evenings there is a lot of music and noise, especially noticeable on the first floor (it may be quieter on higher levels). The hotel itself is fairly clean, well-kept, and relatively new compared to many others in Istanbul. Breakfast is definitely worth including – it’s excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, Turkish tea and coffee, and even made-to-order omelets. Staff don’t rush you out when breakfast time ends, and they keep replenishing dishes, which is a big plus. On the downside, the reception could be friendlier, and the staff’s English level is quite limited. For example, when we requested extra bedding, room service brought us fries instead. Additionally, in September the rooms were cold, and unfortunately only the air conditioning worked – the heating did not. The restaurant downstairs, Pera 77, offers live music in the evenings. In our case, the singer was late, performed only a few songs, then took a break and never returned before we left. Food quality was mixed: the soup and cheese platter were good, but the steak was tasteless and the fries soggy. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you want a lively location with outstanding breakfasts, but be aware of noise and some service limitations."

"1. The two-bedroom unit is furnished and equipped just like an apartment, and it's in a separate building, not the main one. Why would anyone choose this over a two-bedroom executive apartment at Marriott? This place costs more than triple the price. 2. The apartment's floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the strait, but it's not a direct, unobstructed view, so the photos aren't great. 3. Construction work goes on from 9 AM to 5 PM daily in the apartment, and the staff told me it's unavoidable renovations! For a 7k per night hotel, you can't even get a nap in the afternoon. You decide if you still want to book it! 4. The staff's service attitude is good. 5. There are no amenities or facilities nearby the hotel. 6. Breakfast is terrible."

"Here are the pros of the hotel: The location is superb, with all major attractions within walking distance. Additionally, tram, metro, train, and ferry stops are all conveniently located within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast was good, offering a decent variety to choose from. The rooftop provides a beautiful panoramic view of the Bosphorus; I thoroughly enjoyed sketching there. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a convenient mini-market where you can pick up water, fruit, or other essentials. The room came with a small refrigerator, an electric kettle with cups, and complimentary tea and coffee sachets. The staff were consistently polite and unobtrusive. The lower ground floor (-1 level) housed a small gym, a hammam, and a compact swimming pool. However, there were several drawbacks: The rooftop pool, which appears spacious in the hotel's wide-angle photos, is actually quite small and unsuitable for swimming. It felt more like a communal soaking tub where people simply sit in the water. I also found it uninviting due to its murky water, so I opted not to use it. The interior design was poorly executed. Stairwells and floor heights seemed mismatched, and massive support columns bisecting the panoramic windows consumed a significant portion (about a third) of our already small room. The room felt cramped and poorly laid out due to these design errors. For instance, the entrance hallway was uncomfortably narrow with the room door opening inwards, there was a column positioned awkwardly in the middle of the sleeping area, and the ceiling featured a polygonal, multi-level design. Furthermore, the tile grout lines on the walls and floor were noticeably misaligned by about a centimeter, which looked incredibly sloppy and felt like an oversight. The window offered an unattractive view of a car park. Small details were missing, such as a toothbrush holder in the bathroom and sufficient space to hang and dry towels. There was only a single hook in the bathroom, which was inadequate. Overall, it's a decent hotel, but its main issues stem from poor spatial planning and questionable aesthetics."

"In general, my experience was good. The location, near Taqsim Square and Karakoy, was excellent. My room was in the corner with a sea view, and the balcony was wonderful. The hotel is tiny, and this is reflected in the facility's size and services, including the lobby. Value for the many: acceptable"

"I am extremely disappointed with the attitude of the reception staff. My wife, child, and I booked and prepaid for a Family Suite with multiple beds and a Pool View. Instead, we were assigned a room with only a king-size bed and no small bed for our child. The room description on their official website clearly shows a small bed, and this was also confirmed in my booking confirmation, as shown in the attached screenshot. After complaining, the reception offered to provide a foldable bed— okay, we got it, but it wasn't what we wanted when searching for a hotel. Later, when showering in the evening, we noticed only two towels for three people. I contacted reception, and they initially sent two bathrobes. Using a translation app, I requested an additional towel, and after a few minutes, they delivered three towels. Overall, the service was poor. To summarize: 1. The hotel provided a room meant for a couple, not a family. 2. The room lacked the second bed as advertised, only having one. 3. There were only two sets of towels for three guests. 4. There were stains in the bathroom as visible in one of the photos. 5. The swimming pool was out of order. It feels like we were downgraded because we arrived late and only stayed overnight. My assumption is that the reception gave our original room to someone else. Instead, we received a room the same/similar in size but intended for a couple. Maybe I'm wrong, that’s the impression I have. This hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating; at best, it is a 3-star. I usually stay alone in this area when traveling, and last year, I stayed at a 3-star hotel on the same street that offered better service."
