Scenic Hotels in Suzhou

"We were lured to this hotel through recommendation of influencers that boast this hotel with it's majestic look of that looking like a Chinese traditional castle. Although the location is not quite what we really like as it is about 8-10mins walking from the nearest Metro Station (Nanmen Metro) but the price was quite affordable and enticing that we decided to give it a try. The hotel facade does looks magnificant, grand and big from afar, the interior is huge and traditionally well-kept even though the design looks a bit dated but I find that it stays classy and traditional that way. We were assigned to one of the furthest room all the way to the back at 5069. The walk was quite long since it was all the way at the back. Room is definitely big and allow opening of luggages all at one go. The amenities given was sufficient, except they can improve by giving more shower bath gel and shampoo as the small bottles was not enough. Was also hoping they could have install international plugs for their international guest being an international hotel chain as well. Their staffs were polite and professional. Woudl recommend anyone coming to Suzhou to give this hotel one shot at least! The most important thing is the hotel stay comes with complimentary park access which is connected at the back of the hotel which would cost RMB40 if you were to pay to go in! Worth it!"

"This hotel deserves full marks 💯! **Amenities**: The facilities are all there: smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, electric curtains. My only minor complaint is that the minibar area is a bit small; it was hard to find space for everything when making milk for my child. **Cleanliness**: Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained. Cleaning is prompt and thorough. **Environment**: The hotel is designed like a cruise ship 🚢, and it really feels like you're staying on one. My child loved it! We didn't get to experience the kids' play area, but every time we rode the elevator, the little ones were so excited. **Service**: The service is exceptional. When the delivery robots were busy, staff would personally bring takeout orders upstairs. The concierge even helped us collect a package. The restaurant staff were also incredibly friendly. This place is genuinely perfect for both families and business travelers."

The hotel facilities are complete, the environment is good, and the front desk staff, Summer, was warm and provided great service."

"My experience at InterContinental Suzhou was excellent from start to finish. The room offered a superb view, bringing the beautiful scenery of Jinji Lake right into the room. The facilities were exquisite and felt luxurious. What's even more commendable is the hotel's service quality, especially Lirs, our butler. Her professionalism was top-notch, and her service was incredibly meticulous. She always knew exactly what we needed and was attentive and warm throughout our stay, making our trip exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. "Excellent Location The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Suzhou Industrial Park, offering fantastic night views of Jinji Lake. It's incredibly convenient to get to Suzhou International Expo Center and Suzhou Center Mall. Attentive Service From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I experienced true ”Shangri-La hospitality.” The front desk staff were efficient, professional, and genuinely warm, proactively offering detailed information about the hotel's facilities and local directions. Yvonne was also very enthusiastic and arranged a spacious and bright room for me, which I really liked. Overall, as a business hotel, it offers excellent value for money. The Shangri-La brand definitely maintains its high standards."

"First off, regarding the location, it's right by the Jinshui Bay pier, offering the best spot for admiring the night view. The hotel itself boasts an architectural design with a strong Suzhou charm. Stepping into the room, I was immediately enveloped by an atmosphere that blended technology with elegance. The floating TV cabinet perfectly complemented the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, making the entire space bright and airy when the sun shone in. The bedside touch panel integrated multiple smart functions, allowing me to switch scene modes without even getting out of bed. The mini-bar discreetly held Suzhou-style pastries and Italian coffee, allowing me to effortlessly switch between Jiangnan flavors and Italian flair, enjoying my own unique travel experience. Hotel concierges Yuki and Sunny were incredibly thoughtful, even upgrading my room, which brought a perfect end to our trip. Highly recommended!"

"Overall, this is an excellent hotel. It seems relatively new, and all the facilities are quite modern. The swimming pool is large and long, with excellent facilities. The hotel's staff training is clearly thorough; both the front desk and housekeeping staff are very polite to guests. The rooms are also quite spacious. The one I booked offered a view of about a third of Jinji Lake, which was a pleasant bonus. The hotel's location is also excellent. Right outside, you'll find a yacht marina and the 'Eye of Suzhou'. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Eslite Bookstore, and Yuanlong Plaza and Jiuguang Department Store are nearby. Metro Line 8 offers almost direct access, and there are plenty of convenience stores and eateries in the vicinity. The room's cleanliness was good (though we did find an item left by a previous guest in a shopping bag), and both the bathroom and shower stall were spotless. The bedding quality was also excellent – clean, hygienic, and perfectly comfortable. The TV, kettle, and hairdryer were all relatively new. The decor was also very appealing, both bright and distinctive, feeling quite fresh for a five-star property. The underground parking garage has ample spaces, likely shared with the adjacent complex, and offers charging spots. Hotel parking is free. There's also a Hunan cuisine restaurant on the rooftop. The breakfast restaurant's layout felt a bit cramped, so we opted to eat at a table outside the main dining area. However, the quality and variety of the breakfast were both excellent – a big thumbs up for that. The only minor complaint about this stay was the elevator near the front desk. Its logic was incredibly confusing; it would inexplicably go up and down without purpose, and we had to wait for two cycles before finally getting on. This could definitely be adjusted to be more intelligent and user-friendly. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel."

"I really love this Hyatt hotel; it's my top choice when I come to Suzhou. I enjoy the surroundings near the hotel – it's super comfortable to take a stroll around Jinji Lake. There are also plenty of great restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and transportation is incredibly convenient with a subway station right outside the door, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel service is truly exceptional, and the breakfast is fantastic. The room facilities are also cozy and comfortable. Every visit here makes me happy, and I'll definitely choose this Hyatt hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou."

"The location is excellent, right inside Pingjiang Road, which makes getting around and sightseeing very convenient. The warm and thoughtful service from the staff left a strong impression. The hotel’s amenities and electronic appliances were carefully selected and of high quality, which I truly appreciated.
