"Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance.
Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face.
This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family."

When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Xi'an hotel features parking on site. "My first visit to Xi'an was during the Chinese New Year holiday right after the pandemic restrictions were lifted, and I chose the W Hotel back then. Honestly, though, the W's style wasn't quite my favorite at the time. Although I've had many business trips to Xi'an since, mostly in the Gaoxin area, I haven't stayed at the W again until now. This time, however, my business trip coincided with Trip.com's 'One City, One Room' promotion, and I re-booked the W. I found the experience even better than last time; the service attitude and quality were outstanding. The front desk staff, Ella, proactively offered an air purifier, which was a very thoughtful touch.
The breakfast truly lives up to its reputation as Trip.com's number one food hotel in Xi'an. I've been recommending the oil-splashed noodles and mini buns from their breakfast to all my friends from out of town. Overall, it's significantly better than the Ritz, which is also on the same list.
The PBX staff were also very gentle and efficient, responding promptly.
The hotel's location is excellent as well, making travel convenient. I will definitely be back again."

"A very happy accommodation experience
The store owner's brother and sister-in-law are very hospitable. We watched the performance of Song of Everlasting Regret at 9:05 pm, and the store owner's brother sent us to the entrance of Song of Everlasting Regret to pick up the tickets. The next day, I wanted to take a taxi to the Terracotta Warriors, and the brother took the initiative to send us to the Terracotta Warriors ticket gate
The brother and sister-in-law were very enthusiastic and gave us hand-painted fans that they painted by themselves. It was really the happiest accommodation of this trip.
Accommodation environment:
The bedding and the hygiene in the room were very clean. Whatever the pictures taken by the store owner looked like, it was what it looked like when you lived there. It was safe and reliable.
Breakfast:
The breakfast was made by the store owner himself, delicious food, and the steamed buns were also very authentic.

"This was our first time visiting Xi'an, and we chose this homestay. Our entire family was absolutely delighted. Traveling with children, our top priorities are hygiene and quietness, and this place was not only spotlessly clean but also wonderfully peaceful. The owner was exceptional – easygoing yet thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable about traditional culture, and genuinely kind-hearted. The local recommendations they gave us were perfect for the authentic Xi'an experience we were hoping for. When we bought some local pastries for our friends, the owner was so considerate, kindly helping us store them in the kitchen fridge. In the evenings when we returned, they invited us for tea, chats, storytelling, and even introduced us to the art of incense (xiangdao). In just a few short days, we became good friends. Our child didn't want to leave and strongly insisted on staying a few more days! It was a truly happy and relaxing trip to Xi'an, offering a wonderfully carefree experience. Xi'an, we will definitely be back! And we'll absolutely stay at Guan'erjie again!"

"This trip, I chose this hidden gem, and as soon as I stepped in, I was captivated by the beautiful surroundings. Lush greenery and dappled light created a picturesque scene, like something out of a poem. Hawthorn (the staff member) was warm and attentive. The initial room was small and stuffy, but after changing to another one, it was much better. I recommend booking a suite or higher, skipping the basic room types, as the location and environment will be significantly better. The hotel facilities have a retro, classical vibe."

"This is a hotel located in Tang Paradise and it is absolutely gorgeous. The bed was huge and it was nice waking up in the morning to a very pretty bird chirping on the trees right outside the window.
If you don't speak Chinese, note that the hotel is called 'Fanglinyuan hotel'.
Also if you do not enjoy crowded places, I recommend you to avoid Datang Everbright city where it is overly crowded and just enjoy the night views in this hotel and around tang paradise 👍"

"We arrived late at night after a long drive. I had already noted in the booking that we needed two adjoining rooms. However, the rooms we were assigned were in an extremely remote location, almost at the end of the corridor, and upon entering, there was a strong smell of smoke. With children in tow, we had no choice but to request a room change. Although the new room was closer to the elevator, the sofa was a short one, inconsistent with the promotional photos. The next day, we discovered that our window faced directly onto the parking lot entrance and the kitchen chimney, and there was no balcony, making the comfort level extremely poor. During our discussion, the duty manager tried to shirk responsibility, claiming to be new and unfamiliar with the room types, but he has actually been employed for over three months (I saw your name in other reviews). His professionalism needs improvement. Although he later worked very diligently to bring in a longer sofa as a remedy, it took over an hour, leaving the room in a mess and severely impacting our check-in experience. Considering an average price of 1600 per night, and as a luxury hotel brand, room allocation and housekeeping services should not have these issues. I recommend choosing this hotel with caution. Additionally, none of the special activities included in our package were utilized."

"I truly enjoyed my stay at MEILIE Ling Hotel Xi’an. The hotel’s aesthetic is elegant and full of Song-style charm, blending traditional beauty with modern comfort. Its location is perfect — right near the Bell Tower and within walking distance to the Muslim Quarter, making it ideal for exploring the city.
The service was personal and attentive. Staff members did their best to accommodate every need, responding quickly and always with warmth and professionalism. Complimentary laundry, breakfast, afternoon tea, and even a light supper were thoughtful highlights. Communication was smooth, and requests were handled efficiently.
The bedding was exceptionally comfortable — soft and perfect for a restful sleep. I also appreciated the small yet meaningful touches: a water bottle thoughtfully placed on a bench near the elevator, free drinks at the rooftop bar, and the friendly faces at the lobby and dining area. The smart systems, delivery robots, and AI features added a fun, futuristic touch.
Even the elevator design — intentionally slow with a built-in seat — reflected the hotel’s calm and graceful philosophy. The entire experience felt refined, relaxing, and full of care.
A wonderful new hotel that captures the soul of Xi’an with heart and detail. Highly recommended.

"The skyscraper is very large and beautiful. The rooms are nice and have all the amenities. We were given a free room upgrade. There's a beautiful pool and a gym available. Towels were changed and the bathroom was cleaned every day. Breakfast was a buffet with all kinds of food, with chefs preparing typical Xi'an dishes on the spot. Above all, the staff was very kind, accommodating all our requests and offering us yogurt drinks, desserts, and soups for dinner or a snack completely free of charge. Some of the staff speak English, but with WeChat, you can communicate with a translation tool. I recommend it! Excellent value for money."
