"We stayed for our 14 hour layover in Manila. Location was ok, but took a bit of time to arrive due to traffic. First of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room we got was spacious although a bit outdated.
But I would like to suggest preparing floor mats/towels to be put in front of the bathroom door to prevent damaging of the floorboards. Otherwise, everything was ok."

"Good location and the breakfast is the best. This time as i stayed more than one day and i complained about my previous stay then they gave me a very nice room.
There is a small pool and gym.

"I stayed at Privato Hotel Makati recently and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and great value for money, especially for Makati standards. The staff were friendly and professional, making check-in/out smooth and offering helpful local tips. The rooftop pool and lounge was a nice bonus — perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or work. I also felt the Wi-Fi was reliable and useful for both leisure and work. The hotel’s location is quite convenient to business districts and shopping, although the surrounding neighborhood isn’t as lively or central as some other Makati hotels which is for me is a good thing. Still, for its price and comfort, I’d recommend Privato for both business travelers and weekend getaways"

NNOR HAZWANI BINTI AZMANI recently stayed at Makati Shangri-La, Manila during a business trip, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was seamless, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and highly professional.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a quiet and comfortable environment to work and rest. I appreciated the high-speed Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay on top of my work tasks. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and dining options, were excellent and contributed to a pleasant and convenient stay.
Overall, Makati Shangri-La delivered top-notch service and comfort, making it ideal for business travelers. I would gladly return for future trips and highly recommend it to colleagues and friends.

JJESSICA MARIE RACELISMy husband and pamangkins enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Overall, everything was great—wala akong masabi. The staff were very helpful, except for one receptionist at the Escolta area, if I remember correctly, her name was Julia.
She was very rude and was the only one who did not assist us. When I approached her for help, she even walked away from us. Imagine, it was my husband’s birthday and we received that kind of treatment. I mean, we shouldn’t have to mention that it was his birthday just to be treated properly as guests.
Our overall experience was excellent, but because of her, it was disappointing. She was the only one who negatively affected our stay at The Peninsula.

NNOR HAZWANI BINTI AZMANI stayed at Fairmont Makati for a business trip. The location is very convenient, right in the business district and connected to Greenbelt Mall.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well set up for work with good Wi-Fi. Staff were professional and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth.
Overall, a reliable and comfortable hotel for business stays. I would stay here again.

I especially enjoyed the UMU restaurant - everything there was truly delicious and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience.

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay, i did book a delux double room, great size, nice bath(aaahhhh) very clean, everything expected in this level of hotel. Beautiful pool area, nice food/drink in the pool bar , I think will now become my “go to” hotel in makati. Just a small point, the hot water in the bath was only lukewarm, but that’s it😊

MMike ✈️Great value for money. The room is small but has everything you need: a super comfortable bed, a clean bathroom and a working AC…all in a clean Nordic style esthetic. Loved it. Only 2 things I could point out as a negative experience: First the breakfast is really poor and they don’t even have milk for your coffee (I had to buy it myself at 7 eleven); Second having a room at the 12th floor might be panoramic but going up and down with the elevator sometimes takes 3 to 5 minutes waiting it to arrive 😅😅 But it’s just a minor issue.

IiYooootFor a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.

RRays of SunshinePool on the roof with a great view and sent help right away when front desk contacted! Very comfortable for a family. We stayed over new year and enjoyed a great fireworks show through the window. Walking distance to great restaurants and Century Mall. Extremely helpful, polite and friendly staff

PPete.cThe hotel is in prime location for p burgos St nightlife across the road from the filling station 24hours restaurant (well worth a visit) shops just down the road plenty of places to eat around close by.
Hotel rooms are dated could do with some very much needed renovation staff are helpful and friendly do get a lot of girls hanging around the entrance at night looking for customers but don't bother you to much
