Location is great as it's just across Vfs building. Room is neat and clean. I just don't like that the bed is hard and not comfortable for sleeping and the blanket provided was very thin plus the airconditioning unit is located near the bed (it bothered my feet during the night) - should have been installed beside the window not below it (at least higher for better airflow). CR/Shower is separate which is not convenient. With this price range, no slippers, no toothpaste/toothbrush, no shampoo/body wash, no refrigerator. There are lockers but no hangers.

Mad Monkeys rarely disappoint & here's no exception, in the heart of Makatis Party district Poblacion, you'll find everything you need to have a blast. It's a very social space with a rooftop skybar/terrace & restaurant & ground floor cafe with outside patio. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm (305) which I have to admit is very cramped, the toilet doesn't flush well & the shower head holder is damaged. Also the mattresses still have the plastic covers on so they squeak like crazy, this could be resolved by placing plywood on the top bunks which would make a sound barrier. Other than that, great hostel, great staff, great service & you get a welcome drink when you check in. JOIN THE MADNESS 🤣

The hotel is conveniently located near a market, a subway station, and several chain hotels. The TV wasn't working, but there was hot water. Overall, it was decent, though I felt the room was a bit small.

Still I prefer this place due to convenience to many places like church, malls and even hospital. Actually, I used to stay in Brgy San Antonio, Makati for so long.

This place is awesome. Free water is a bonus. Not the best view out of the window but at least you get fresh air. For 16 dollars there is absolutely no complaining for the value. I will definitely be back again. The staff is super nice as well. They also have a fridge downstairs that people can use.

The service at Sunnette was great! Staff, both housekeeping and front desk were really friendly and efficient. They had housekeeping daily, which we didn’t expect, so that was a pleasant surprise. The building is really old (about 40 years), so it has a vintage feel to it. There’s hot water, towels, an induction cooker, a microwave, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, and pans in the room. If I were to suggest anything, it’d be to bring a warm blanket with you when booking here because the blanket they offer is really thin. Other than that, we had a great experience at Sunnette. The hotel is right in the middle of the Poblacion nightlife/red light district, so there’s a lot of places to enjoy if that’s your thing and it’s near a bunch of malls like Greenbelt, Rockwell, and Century Mall. It can get noisy at night on the weekends, but fairly quiet on weekdays.

Clean and safe. Worth the money. Affordable yet quality, and the staff are kind.

Also, the space can feel a bit small depending on the room type, and some parts of the facility may feel a bit dated. Overall, Hotel Sogo Guadalupe is a good option if you’re looking for something affordable, accessible, and convenient for a short stay. It’s not luxurious, but it gets the job done.
