"We arrived very late at night for our cruise the following day, so this was a perfect location for us. The hotel is situated inside Miami international airport so you don’t even have to travel anywhere. The only thing we found was that there were no sign posts, we had to keep stopping people to ask where it was, we walked for around 10 mins and after asking around 3/4 people we eventually found it. It is round a corner behind a Mexican restaurant and basically just what looks like an information desk. The staff were very helpful and even upgraded our room free of charge from a double to a king room. We got into the lift and found our room on the 4th floor, the corridors could do with some updating and looked a bit like walking through a prison. Our room was at the end of a corridor. It was very clean and tidy and a lot nicer than I expected. There was a coffee maker and some biscuits under the dressing table and plenty of hanging space and a steamer in the wardrobe. The bathroom was clean with hand wash and body lotion and shower gel. The bed was very confortable and after our late arrival we just went straight to sleep. We woke the next morning, had a quick coffee and booked an Uber to the cruise port. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay before a cruise or flight"

"Pre-cruise hotel. Airport shuttle n free breakfast. Call for free shuttle services, Airport n local mall. 20min. walk to local mall for restaurants n shopping. Sign up for cruise port shuttles $15pp. or use Lyft/Uber $20 (before 9:45am) depending on demand. 15min. from the airport and about 25min. to port of Miami cruise terminals."

"After clearing customs, the hotel shuttle was easy to catch at Exit 5, running every half hour, which was very convenient. The rooms come with a kitchenette, perfect for longer stays if you plan to grocery shop and prepare your own meals to save some money. The breakfast was also excellent."

"In order to catch a plane to live here the next day, there is a free breakfast, not rich, and met a group of tourists like South Asia Asan, fruits and the like grabbed away, eating ugly and dying. So I did n’t eat at the hotel, I ate at the airport myself. Hotel services and facilities are good, there are refrigerators and microwaves in the room to bring your own food. There is a Chinese restaurant called Qianlong Restaurant 150 meters nearby, which tastes good. The room was a bit poor, with shattered hair everywhere, making it uncomfortable to look at."

"We live in Key West and come to Miami every 2-3 months. We have stay at this hotel, the Fontainebleau, or one of the 2 Kimptons for 5 years and always had a great experience at this hotel until this trip. It started at check in The guy at the desk “Carlos” was rude from the beginning. He was a smart aleck about everything. It was my wife’s birthday trip and it was definitely not the way we wanted to start it. Our room was hot and we didn’t have enough towels. We had dinner reservations and were going to see Andrea Bocelli. When we got back the room was still hot but we were exhausted from the day so we went to sleep. At 6:0am it was so hot it woke us up. My wife went to the front desk and a very nice Eloisa was there and helped my wife and they sent someone to look at it after 5 minutes it was working. I asked what was wrong and he said “it had a bubble in it” but acted like he couldn’t speak any more English. The thermostat was on cool and set 60° but the room never got below 74° at 6:00am. When my wife went to ask for a Double Tree Cookie she was told they were no longer a double tree hotel. This is one of the main reasons we stayed there and it has definitely changed. When we got there The Miami Dolphins were playing in Miami and every TV in the awesome bar area was off and I asked “Carlos” if they could turn the game on and was told it was under renovation but there was no sign of construction and if it was it had nothing to do with the tvs in the lobby. The entire vibe here is not what it was the last time we stayed here. This is a great location and one of the only hotels that still has a hot tub “but it only works half of the time”. He was also a **** about the pool towel card policy and said if I didn’t return the nasty reused card I would be charged $25 per card just to get a towel by the pool. If you do decide to stay there and there is a 20 something Spanish guy at the desk come back later for the sake of your peace on vacation."

"This aloft hotel, located in Coral Gables, is in a very remote location and there are no supermarkets and restaurants around. The room is not good, and the window is not easy to open. The front desk is also average."
