GGuest UserI was late due to the ferry closure and didn't stay at the hotel overnight. But I arrived in the morning and went to the hotel. I had a voucher with breakfast. The staff accepted it and allowed me to go to the cafe for breakfast. I'm very grateful for that. At the same time, I booked a Ha Long tour, which was very convenient.

SsharovahelgaThe best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. Papa - here are my words of love from the bottom of my heart, for your care. For every morning and evening When I came to the pool bar, I always smiled when I saw you! Thank you for your kindness. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! I sincerely thank the entire CatBa Oversleep hostel team for your work, your love for what you do, and your complete dedication. Your care for each guest, your attentiveness, and your kindness! If fate brings me back to this island, I will return to you without hesitation!

Just one fact that disappointed : we booked two rooms of the exact type, when we arrived the receptionist said one of the room with one big bed is occupied because another guest desided to stay for one more night and we have stay in a room with two beds. Not a big deal but it was weird why they didn't offer that room to another guest as we already booked the room with a big bed in advance and it's not right to let a previous guest to stay there for one more night cause it booked. So when I insisted on getting the room I booked suddenly they gave me the key of the room I booked and the ”previous guest” disappeared the same moment. I don't know why they do it, but it looked like a scam. Maybe i was wrong so I don't understand what's the purpose of doing so

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the pier and close to Cat Co beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the local attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with stunning views from both my balcony and the rooftop cafe. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was truly a highlight of my trip. The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me. Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

GGabi__1Nice HomeStay in the mountains. The facilities were good and the owners hired us scooters and arrange for our transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba. They had some books, cards and board games available. The tables around the pool were nice to have food or a drink around. The location is out of town, so not as many food options available but the homestay offers okay food - the banana pancakes were nice. The room was spacious, cold aircon and hot water with a little balcony which was nice. It was excellent value for money and very easy to get to the nation park and caves from on a scooter ☺️ If you book any day tours, they will pick you up from the hotel too. The boat tour was enjoyable - we booked through GetYourGuide, but the homestay also offers tours as well.

CChalkgrrlThe hotel is easy to find (right on the road in Cat Ba town) and is in a great location, close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Motorbike shops are also nearby if needed. The family who owns the hotel are lovely. The wife speaks some English and Mandarin along with Vietnamese. They are quick to respond if no one is at the front desk. Our room was standard, basic amenities like shampoo and soap pockets plus toothbrushes are provided. A kettle was available but no bottled water or coffee / tea is given in the rooms. They do offer a simple breakfast in the morning and coffee or tea comes with that meal. Ok for 1-2 nights if budget is a concern but there are also many other hotels in the area if you want more amenities.

NNadia-68The hotel was 2 nights, flew from Nyachang to Hanoi, then to the island to visit the Gulf of Langha and Halong. At once on the recipe, they bought a tour to Halong for 600,000 d. per person. - The views are amazing, the service on the yacht of all staff - super, attentive and caring. In the hotel all staff are good ́-careful, attentive to requests, good ́ and fun ́. English we almost don't know, communicated through the translator in the phone, they talked to us patiently. We were pleased to be in their hands). They arranged for us a smooth trip back to Hanoi . Thank you from the Soul. The hotel is very successfully located - in the very center of the island. From the balcony is visible square, fountain, in the evening it includes music and beautiful lighting, Trees are all in the lights too. For children there are colorful car rental. Outside the sea square. Walking from the hotel 3 minutes to the new beach straight through the square. Near shops and cafes with delicious food and beautiful feeding. We are delighted to stay on the island, on the mainland and in general from the inhabitants of this country!
