"Spacious room with direct access to the beach and a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The beach is clean, quiet, and not crowded at all, far from the usual tourist areas, which made it perfect for relaxing. There are a few restaurants nearby, including one right next to the hotel.
The hotel restaurant serves breakfast only. The food selection is not large, but everything was tasty and well prepared.
The atmosphere is very peaceful — falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly relaxing. I would definitely come back again."

GGuest User1) Located at Kedawang area which is opposite Holiday Villa & next to Aloft, If the Grab driver can't locate the place.
2) The mural on the wall depicts ”Cactus 🌵Inn” If u don't realise where is it after alighting from the Grab. 🤓 Friendly staff.
3) More of a private own premise converted into a comfortable Inn which has a little cafe next to it that serves light menu & plays good old 60s & 70s music that'll reminisce the past. 🎶👍🏻 Of course, the Inn doesn't look like what it has illustrated in the booking platform. More plants & less cleanliness!
4) Room facilities were well equipped wt mineral water, coffee sachet, hairdryer, TV, aircond, fan, shower gel, towels & toilet roll. 🤗
5) A cosy place for the night wt free wifi But Full of insect bugs flying in the bathroom! I killed 10 insect bugs, I guess they flew in from the bathroom window which is situated next to the backyard. Ensure you close your bathroom door to avoid the irritating insect bugs in your room! Otherwise it's a quiet place just for a night. There's another cafe Next to Cactus Inn called ”ARC” that serves Nyonya & Portuguese food! Don't miss the Chicken Pongteh!! 😋👍🏻 Friendly staffs though price can be steep!

GGuest UserReally like this place , it's location is excellent, on a quiet road but 5 mins walk from the beach, eateries and shops. The rooms are clean and large with a ceiling fan and lots of floor and hanging space. The bathroom is also large with a good shower. Outside the room we have a table and 2 chairs and a hammock. There is a lot of communal areas and hot/cold water is provided by the office. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked an island hopping tour and also hired a scooter for the day. They do food and there is a really nice bar with pool table on the premises. We originally booked 3 nights, still here after 6 and may stay longer! Would definitely recommend to friends and family

GGuest UserI brought my whole family to this hotel for a New Year's vacation. The public courtyard has plenty of space for activities, which was great. There are lots of outdoor seating areas and hammocks, and the hot and cold water dispenser was very convenient. The hotel staff were excellent, very patient and polite. The downsides were that there were many ants in the room, the triple room was dark and damp with poor ventilation, and the location is a bit out of the way.

SSLON9340I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The highlight of the stay was definitely the sea view—it was absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. However, the room hygiene was little bit disappointing. We found ants in the bathroom (staff did all the best to get rid of), and the shower area looked a bit neglected and slightly dirty. If the management improves the housekeeping, this would be a perfect place to stay.

WwAco-jEsusOf course, you get what you pay for. And Paretto is a perfect example of righteousness of this proverb. Yes, hotel is really cheap, but offers decent family rooms with two comfortable beds and a great location in Cenang. But these two are actually only positives of Paretto. Also good were both aircons except one day when one wasnt working.
The hotel and everything in the hotel is old and outdated. The locks on the doors in the room are almost all broken, the shower room isn't kept clean, mould is all over the walls. Our balcony faced inner corridor of the hotel thus it was always extremely hot at the balcony. Overall all furniture and bed sheets are quite old and looked tired.
If you are budget traveller - Paretto is ok for maximum 3-4 nights, but if you need more comfort and modern hotel - try to avoid.

PPejay”I had a wonderful vacation staying at this accommodation! The place was exactly as described — beautiful, spotless, and full of charm.
However, if you're a very cozy person, this might not be the best fit for you.
It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, all within walking distance. It’s close to the beach, mall, spa, restaurants, and a convenience store.
Our host was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions. They gave us great tips on things to see and do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
I would also like to thank the manager for his kindness in offering us a ride to the airport early in the morning. Our flight was at 8 a.m., so we needed to check out by 6 a.m., and Grab wasn’t accessible that early.”
I highly recommend this hotel.

MMish123This place is right on the beach. There are many food places around this hotel within walking distance. It's also close to the Cenang mall. It's close to all the duty free chocolate shops. There are many little shops around this hotel to buy little souvenirs and clothes. The hotel wasn't noisy.
However, the room I booked did not have a window even though the booking description said it had a window (I like having fresh air so it doesn't feel so stuffy), maybe change the description to a window that cannot be opened or whatever. I have no clue why they would glue an entire sliding door shut making it unable to open (by the time I'm writing this comment they probably changed the description). We asked them about the window and they made several excuses and waved us away which eventually led us to lodge a complaint through trip.com eventually they had to move us per trip.com's request. They then moved us to a different room, which was much cheaper than the one we booked (tbh I can't complain because I agreed to move there just so I can have a window and they had no refund policy so I couldn't cancel my booking at all because I'll just lose all the money I spent booking this place). The AC made an extremely loud noise which sounded like I was living on a construction site (it's not that hard to fix and clean an AC so it doesn't make a loud noise). And the worst part is that I struggled to open the window in the room they moved me into (I genuinely think they should fix it or something). Lastly, I arrived at 2pm and they made me wait until 3pm to check in, while I understand that it's hotel policy that check in is at 3pm, but really now? Even though the room was empty they made us wait for an hour to check into the room.
On the plus side, trip.com gave us $12 worth of trip coins, which technically doesn't account for the price difference and the money loss but ey who cares, at least trip.com is trying to make their customers happy unlike the hotel managers smh.
