GGuest UserExcellent customer service from arrival to check out. Staff were prepared & expecting my check in. They able to identify me and greeted me warmly. Registration was efficient and quick. I was escorted to my rooms with my luggage assisted by a male staff(姓谷). Throughout my 7 nights stay, he always greeted me w a smile and unfailingly polite whether at reception lobby or at breakfast( helping me get my coffee and recommending additionals) In fact, all the staff were always courteous when I passed them, giving me directions when approached, offering an umbrella when it was raining on my way out & thus making me feel welcome in Dalian. The location is right in the heart of Kaifaqu shopping zone and all within walking distance. I love the 2nd floor lobby layout with free beverages, comfy seats and even a long informal conference table seatings for impromptu meetings. Attractively arranged fruit platters delivered daily to my room always made me smile upon my return and made my day. I would definitely choose Orange Hotel if I return to Dalian.

GGuest UserExcellent Guest Service, very clean rooms. However, like almost evey hotel in china, the smell of sewer gas is a signficant problem. Management needs to use the correct devices to prevent the smell from coming up the drain pipes in the shower and the bathroom. Turning on the fan to vent the smell only draws more of the smell into the bathroom. Just search on TB or JD or PDD and you will find some inexpensive devices that will block out this smell.

SseaweedandgarlicGood value for money. About 25,000 won per night? The location is close to Dongfang Water City, but not insanely close. The location is a bit awkward, but since taxi fares in China are cheap, it isn't a big problem. The subway station is also about 15 minutes away. I couldn't visit Lushun Prison because it was closed, but excluding the distance to Lushun, taxi fares to nearby tourist attractions are all around 5,000 won. The bus stop is close lol. The facilities are clean since it opened this year. The rooms are clean. The lobby is clean. The restroom in the lobby on the first floor is also clean! The restroom is quite spacious and clean. The hairdryer performance is satisfactory for short hair. All amenities are provided. You probably only need to bring your own cleansing products. The fitness center on the 4th floor only has one treadmill. The washing machine is also on the 4th floor. Breakfast is bl-lol lol lol lol gi m 𠄎z/mayo I... paid less than 40 yuan... The staff are friendly. Only Chinese is available! However, they kindly handle everything using a translator. If you order delivery, a robot delivers it right to your door. There is a cleaning service, but it only involves replenishing amenities and taking out the trash!

YYugutouThe hotel is good. We upgraded to a twin room when we brought our children. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Xinghai Park, which is very convenient. However, I don’t know if the sign at the hotel door represents the hotel. We made a phone call to book a one-day trip to Lushun for convenience. We agreed that the small group of 10 people was actually a large group of 20+ people. The previous communication mainly required visiting three attractions. As a result, After getting on the bus, we collected 1,300. In the end, we didn't go to any of these three attractions. It felt like a wasted day (they even took us to the Snake House, which included shopping). Please be careful to avoid pitfalls.

The hotel is close to the beach gate No. 1, just walk a little across the road; 5. There are sand digging toys that can be borrowed. When I left, I left the sand digging tools in the hotel, which is convenient for subsequent guests to use. Disadvantages: 1. The light blocking in the hotel room is not very good. GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Exit D of 西安路(Xianlu) Station, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to the airport. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a nightclub and a street lined with food stalls mainly frequented by locals. It gets lively at night. I stayed in a room facing the street, but since it was on the 6th floor, the noise from outside wasn’t too bothersome. However, the soundproofing between rooms isn’t great. I could hear sounds from neighboring rooms. The shower and toilet facilities are basic. Note that in some rooms, the bathroom isn’t fully separated from the rest of the space. Two 500ml bottles of water were provided and replenished daily. Towels were replaced during daily cleaning, but it seemed like the sheets weren’t changed though that might be different for longer stays. There’s no fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk to store things in their staff refrigerator if needed. Foreigners can stay here without any issues. During my 3-night stay, there was a different staff member at the front desk each day, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They actively assisted me when I had any issues, and I’m really grateful for that. Even if you don’t speak Chinese, using a translation app works fine. For basic things like check-in and check-out, you won’t need Chinese at all.

GGuest UserThis was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market? The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member? My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

AAnonymous UserRiyueming Boutique Hotel broke my stereotype of traditional business hotels. The price-performance ratio starting from 288 yuan is a pleasant surprise among similar hotels. Whether it is a family trip, a business trip, or a solo traveler pursuing quality, this place can meet diverse needs. When I checked out, I received a gift box of Dalian cherries. This thoughtfulness made me decide immediately - next time I come to Dalian, Riyueming will still be my first choice!

GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
