GGuest UserThe hardware facilities are decent, but it doesn't feel like a resort hotel at all. The staff quality varies wildly. I'm being conservative in my assessment because I did see some very dedicated employees, but there were a few individuals with extremely poor service attitudes, and unfortunately, they were in key positions. As shown in the picture, the 'deluxe sea view room' I was given had a view entirely dominated by rooftops. I had booked for three days, but I decisively checked out after one. I won't be returning.

GGuest UserFrom check-in to check-out, our experience at the hotel was fantastic, largely thanks to Ella's attentive care. All the staff were consistently quick and friendly, making our trip even more memorable and enjoyable. The inclusion of hot spring tickets was a nice touch, and the condition of the room was excellent. I’d love to return with my parents on our next visit!

JJoshuaLThe (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions. On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience. Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion. Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out. So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

GGuest UserTraveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children. On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved. The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

GGuest UserTraveling with my parents, I chose this hotel and wholeheartedly recommend it! The location is unbeatable; it's incredibly convenient for visiting Donggang and Zhongshan Square, making sightseeing and shopping a breeze. Upon arrival, the doorman and concierge staff were exceptionally attentive, immediately helping us with our large luggage. Knowing we had elderly family members with us, they meticulously guided us and reminded us to watch out for steps, providing truly thoughtful and warm service. Our room offered fantastic views; the scenery was expansive when we opened the window. The room itself was immaculately clean, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The hotel's overall decor is in a classic, established style, leaning towards a vintage and stately design. While it's not a trendy, minimalist look, it certainly doesn't detract from the daily guest experience. Overall, it perfectly balances convenience for sightseeing with attentive service, making it ideal for staying with elderly family members. I would definitely book this hotel again when I bring my family back to the area.

He was gentle and polite, communicated patiently and thoroughly, and answered all my inquiries with clear explanations, demonstrating a solid grasp of his work. He handled all check-in related matters efficiently and reliably. The overall service was incredibly professional, his demeanor was appropriate and perfectly balanced, never perfunctory. His excellent service attitude and strong professional skills significantly enhanced our stay, making us feel at ease and comfortable. He truly deserves high praise.

YYemzyThe experience at this hotel was good my daughter was so happy with the Balala fairy room she enjoyed herself so much, and many thanks to **** for checking up on us as we left the hotel, we loved the atmosphere the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the F&B manager went out of his way to make sure that we sat comfortably and we were served exceptionally well, whenever we come back to Dalian for our next vacation this hotel will be definitely be one of our choice among the many hotels that we will book 😀 I enjoyed my stay, and the reception stuff was very warm and friendly, the bed was absolutely comfortable considering the we traveled for well over 16 hours from our city. I definitely had a relaxed night. My husband rested well, and he was at ease.

BBenxiangqiandedashaguaxiansenThe bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was excellent. The only drawback was that the shower leaked, with water pooling all over the bathroom floor. Given that it's a coastal location already prone to humidity, a wet bathroom floor immediately detracts from the hotel's quality. While the facilities and service were both very good, this one detail was a significant oversight. Another minor issue was the scarcity of tissues in the box – something you rarely encounter in a 5-diamond or 5-star hotel. However, these minor flaws didn't overshadow an otherwise excellent stay. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, ample parking for those driving, and it's located right next to Wanda Plaza with a Bi You Te supermarket.

NNickRZI enjoyed staying in this hotel. 5 stars but reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious and the view outside looked out towards the sea and harbour. They made the beds every morning. I did not eat the breakfast as downstairs and surrounding area had plenty of cheaper options due to being next to many shopping malls. The metro stop is not so far but a little more inconvenient to get to the main train station by walking. Line 2 takes you to the airport in less than 40 minutes for 4RMB. As the metro is nearby you can get to many local tourist places quickly and cheaply. Highly recommend if you want to spend a little more but have close access to get around.
