Great
AAnonymous UserServices are good for the price. Good breakfast. Near city center, many restaurants in the area.
Staff at reception are wonderful, very positive, friendly , and helpful. No complain at all.
Room service staff need more training, they seems forgetful not adding coffee and creamer. Some day they come to clean my room around 4pm.
Small gym with few equipment but they all works well. But the floor may need more cleaning.
GGuest UserWe stayed here to go to a Katy Perry concert in SSE arena. We stayed in a room with 2 x Queen begs for 4 girls. It was fab! The room was spotless, the beds were so comfortable, and staff were very nice and helpful. We had just eat deliveries for food and drink before the concert and got up to a gorgeous breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as I believe it caters for all. I am returning in January 2026 and cannot wait already.
GGuest UserWe were welcomed at reception by one of the friendliest receptionist we have ever met, Aimee or Emma was her name. Nothing was too much trouble for her from checking in to where to go for good food and entertainment, and inquired the next morning on how things went. The hotel is in a great location, comfortable and spacious rooms , have booked to return in April. The only thing we would say was missing was a sign on the footpath pointing out the hotel. Top marks all round .
GGuest UserFantastic reception staff, waiting staff, bar staff. Everyone made you feel welcome and happy to do what they could to make the stay better. Clean and well furnished hotel. Rooms a generous size.
GGuest UserGreat location, clean and tidy. My only negatives were the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, the beds are also only small doubles so not alot of room. We had a nice view looking out onto Belfast cathedral, as shown in the picture. Breakfast was good, with a good selection to choose from and a nice coffee machine. Overall, I would stay again but dont expect a good night's sleep.
GGuest UserWe arrived hours earlier than check-in time and were allowed to park our car in the underground garage. This allowed us to take a bus or walk the 30 mins into the city centre,
When we did check-in we were made up with the size and space available to us, 2 bedrooms, large dining table and good size kitchen area, it was also great to see lovely body wash and shampoo to use in the bathroom, everywhere was clean, we stayed 4 nts and the cleaner came in a tidied and change towels for us.
The tesco shoo was handy for picking up some pizzas and wine, saving us some money when on a tight budget, we would definitely stay again,
CCiara HGreat overnight stay in Hilton Belfast - gorgeous and super clean hotel and staff were all incredibly helpful and approachable, nothing was too much for them. Good location, and taxi drop off at the front was handy. Stayed in a river view room and the view over Belfast was lovely.
CCicianThe biggest drawback is its location, which is quite rural, surrounded by nature parks, and small residential towns.
On the plus side, the rooms are genuinely spacious. This time, I stayed near the edge of the building, with windows on two sides. One of the windows opens to a view of distant snow-capped mountains 🏔️. Additionally, the soundproofing and cleanliness were excellent. The air control system can be a bit noisy, but once it’s turned off at night, the room is wonderfully quiet.
The hotel also features its own gym and swimming pool, which include some classes, a sauna, a steam room, and a hydrotherapy pool. While it can get busy during peak hours, it never felt overcrowded. Many of the club members are local residents, and listening to their amusing banter in the steam room was quite entertaining.
Staying at a hotel alone is such a blissful way to relax. When I get home, I’ve decided to upgrade my bedding and incorporate sauna sessions into my routine!
AAdam SparkesBrilliant red brick stately home type hotel. Full of charm and has a lovely front garden. You have full access to all living and dining area on the ground floor at any time, which is great for photos and relaxing. Our room was a small loft but had a great view from the bathroom of the hills over the city. The City tour bus goes past the hotel because apparently it used to be occupied by the main builder of the Titanic. It is a short walking distance to the stunning Queen's University and Botanic Gardens. Ryan's restaurant is a great shout for homely reasonably priced Irish food and drink. The lady at the front desk also gave us direct assistance to book our trip on the Causeway tour. Highly recommend.
Mmarycon buagayanThis is my second stay at the Clayton Hotel, and overall, the experience was pleasant and the accommodations were comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hotel offers good value for an overnight stay.
However, I observed that the reception staff could benefit from being more attentive and proactive in assisting guests. On several occasions, it seemed that guests were not immediately acknowledged, which can leave an impression of inattentiveness — particularly for international visitors.
My previous stay was three years ago, and I was hoping to see some improvement in this area. Consistent professionalism and warm hospitality at the front desk would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. I look forward to seeing positive changes on my next visit.
