Amazing
The location is amazing, less than a minute walk to the mall next door. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. Hotels also provide BOTH usb and usb-c charging ports, as well as universal plug sockets! The negative thing is the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, causing a musty smell all day long, especially if the bathroom door is left closed. We booked two rooms. Our second room was also not done till around 4:30pm, and only after repeated enquiries at the front desk.

The hotel features a pool, which is nice, but could feel a bit underwhelming if you're someone who craves more entertainment options. On the bright side, the 24-hour gym is a great perk for fitness enthusiasts, and the gourmet shop adds a touch of luxury for those looking to indulge in premium snacks or specialty items. Beyond these, however, there aren't many activities to keep you occupied, so it’s a space that caters more to relaxation and personal time, often spent in your room. Overall, Dusit D2 is ideal for a serene stay but might feel a bit too quiet for those who easily get bored. More in improvement on the food please, there’s no menu that sticks out or you want to try again.

My recent stay at this hotel was generally pleasant with smooth service and friendly staff. However, the security team left much to be desired. They were often seen using their phones, which made them appear unprofessional. One evening, after picking up food, we were told by security to use the backyard for such activities. This was particularly frustrating as it was raining at the time. Additionally, the security personnel seemed to have an overly strict approach, constantly asking for our room number and checking our room card, which felt unnecessary and intrusive. It seemed like they were not well-acquainted with their guests and lacked basic hospitality skills. While the overall stay was enjoyable, improvements in the security staff's approach would enhance the experience significantly.

Eden Nature Park remains one of the oldest yet most entertaining parks we’ve visited over the years. They never fail to amaze us with their recreational activities—definitely worth every penny. I especially love the cool breeze and the peaceful, well-maintained surroundings. The entire park is clean and clearly well taken care of. The food is average, but we still enjoyed their buffet. What stood out even more were the à la carte dishes—super delicious! We also loved the fishing activity, and the best part was they cooked our catch for us. So satisfying! One of the most thrilling (and scariest!) parts of the trip was the sky swing. Fun to try once, but probably never again for me! 😅 As for connectivity, unfortunately, Smart and Globe signals are weak in the area. If staying connected is a must, make sure to bring a DITO or GOMO SIM card. Also, don’t forget to download your favorite movies or series beforehand—perfect for downtime, especially if you’re not into hiking. My son absolutely loved seeing the peacocks and deer up close. He was lucky to catch the deer’s feeding time and was amazed to learn they enjoy vegetables just like him. They even let us bring our unfinished Father’s Day cake in the fishing Cottage which was a sweet touch. ❤️ Overall, Eden Nature Park is perfect for meaningful family bonding. We’re so glad we chose to celebrate Father’s Day there—such a memorable experience. 100/10!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. I had a pleasant stay at Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the check-in process was fast. The room was clean, spacious, and had basic amenities like a TV, mini-fridge, and good Wi-Fi. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of tasty Filipino and international dishes. Although the air conditioning took a while to cool the room and some areas looked a bit old, the overall experience was relaxing and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Davao for business or leisure.
