"The location of the place is very good, next to atocha station, rooms are small and no suitcase can fit in the lockers so you see everyone leaving suitcases everywhere in the room. Rooms and beds are not very big or comfortable, they don’t have a kitchen, just a kettle and a microwave and they want to charge you extra €5 for “early check in” even when you already paid your reservation and when they have their room ready, they are not a hotel that you pay the early check in and can go to your private room or bed and relax, they charge you extra to enter a room full of people, suitcases everywhere and noise, definitely not nice"

Adolfo Surez Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD) is a 15-minute drive. The Puerta del Sol is within 12 km, and entertainment at Gran Va is nine kilometers from our hotel.
"The hotel is quite new, with excellent facilities, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The room wasn't huge, but as I was traveling solo, it was perfectly adequate. The bathroom had adjustable heating, so it wasn't cold at all in winter. While it's not in the city center, transportation is very convenient; it's about a 30-minute ride by taxi or public transport to the bustling areas. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making daily life very convenient. The area also has some newer office buildings and residential complexes, so it feels very safe. But all of this isn't even the main point. The main point is that the staff at this hotel are the most professional, friendly, empathetic, and enthusiastic people I've encountered during my month-long trip in Europe. I stayed in Madrid for six days, and every staff member I met at this hotel was incredibly friendly. Especially a gentleman named Miguel, who always had a bright and infectious smile on his face and was always proactive and enthusiastic in helping resolve any issues guests had. I can't remember all the staff members' names, but I'm truly grateful for all the service and assistance they provided during my stay. This will definitely be my top choice if I visit Madrid again."

There are multiple subway stations nearby, and Atocha is also within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The family room we booked wasn't large, but it spanned two floors and had a terrace, perfect for a family with two children."

"I chose this hostel for its location, as it's close to the Santiago Bernabéu. This was an important factor for me when choosing accommodation. This was my first time staying at a hostel, but I was very pleased with the service. The staff were friendly, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the kitchen area was very cozy. "The rooms are spacious. It’s a pet friendly hotel so it was the first time I actually heard dogs barking. Overall I felt like I get a lot of privacy and quiet. There’s no noise from the outside world coming in. It isn’t a party hotel so the other guests are pretty calm. It is a quick 15-20 minute bus into the Salamanca District."

"The hotel is very close to the subway station, located in a residential area with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly. Noemi at the front desk was particularly helpful, communicating proactively and resolving any issues. The breakfast was also good; eggs are ordered separately. The breakfast area was spacious, and there was a usher to the table. The only downsides were the lack of slippers and tissues in the room, which was somewhat inconvenient. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from the hotel to the airport, making travel very convenient."

"The room was well-equipped and very practical. I appreciated the comfortable balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. Transportation was convenient, with bus line 14 stopping right outside and the nearest subway station only about 500 meters away. The only minor drawback was the limited dining options in the immediate vicinity. However, the hotel's ground floor restaurant served decent food. I especially enjoyed trying Spanish churros with chocolate sauce for the first time there."

"The 12-bed dorm was pretty good overall. It had air conditioning that went down to 19 degrees Celsius. There are lockers under the beds which you can lock with your room key card (each person has a unique card). If you have a lot of luggage, there are also external lockers available for a fee. This hostel doesn't have a place to hang laundry, but they do have a washing machine and dryer, which cost 7 Euros to use both. One female staff member from Mongolia was very friendly and welcoming. However, there was a young local Caucasian female staff member who was unfriendly; she was dismissive to everyone and impatient when asked questions. All the other staff members were nice. If you want a free drink, you need to leave them a good review, but at the time, I could only choose a can of beer."

"I booked a family room, and the sofa bed was a large and spacious double. The only issue was that room 305 had a TV with a poor signal, causing a pixelated screen. If you're looking to watch the World Cup or any other game, definitely avoid this room. Secondly, the air conditioner had a loud hum, which seemed to be a compressor issue. However, a good workaround was to turn down the fan speed, and it quieted down considerably. Other than that, there were no other major problems. The staff's response time was very quick, including fixing the AC (even though they just removed and cleaned the filter, their attitude was excellent, and they responded promptly). The day before leaving, I asked a male front desk staff member to help me book a taxi to the airport, and I was very grateful for his help with my luggage and seeing me off. Their English was also excellent (perhaps due to many English-speaking guests), so there were no communication problems whatsoever. The only downside was that when I booked, I saw comments saying Madrid isn't that big and you can take a taxi anywhere, which led me to book this hotel. In reality, a more central location would be more convenient for getting around. Even though the hotel is near Retiro Park, it's a 6-minute walk to the metro station, and there are buses nearby, but getting to the city center still takes over half an hour, and a taxi to El Corte Inglés takes 28 minutes... (considering it was 40-degree weather, you really don't want to walk that long). However, the fact that there were often taxis waiting right outside the hotel made up for this quite well. All in all, it was decent, but if you can choose a hotel in a more central, well-located area, go for that. If you want a quiet location with considerate, warm, and friendly staff, then choose this hotel. The room's mini-bar came with many complimentary drinks. There's a Carrefour just a 4-minute walk away, and many Chinese restaurants catering to Spanish people nearby, but Uber Eats can deliver better food from the city center in about an hour. They close late, around 11-12 PM in the summer, which is nice."
