"The industrial-style decor was as basic as it gets, which was fine since I only needed to sleep for five hours before catching my flight. There was no view from the window, it was completely blocked. It's a convenient ten-minute drive to the airport, and there's also a shuttle bus available."

"This hotel has a lot of character, though the winding hallways felt a bit like a maze. We also had to get our key cards reprogrammed three times at the front desk before both room keys worked. But aside from that, everything else was great! The hallways are clean and modern, and there are three elevators, so you don't have to navigate the 'maze' much (except for walking to the very end for breakfast). The location is excellent; it's just a few steps to Puerta del Sol, making it easy to reach any major attraction in the city center. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, and they always greeted us warmly when we returned. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse – one of the most extensive we've seen across the 7-8 countries we've visited. The buffet had rows and rows of food! Our room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, very tidy, and everything worked well. Overall, this was one of the most comfortable hotels we stayed at during our trip, apart from the initial hassle with the key cards on the first day. It would be even better if they could fix those faulty key cards!"

"Everything was great; they were very kind and let us check into our rooms early. The breakfast was very good and the beds were very comfortable. I just would have swept the room a bit, even though it was very clean – that's just a minor nitpick."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Atocha station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's also just a 20-minute walk to Puerta del Sol. However, the hotel itself is pretty average. The rooms have poor soundproofing and are quite noisy facing the main road. Breakfast at 14 Euros was decent, so overall, it offers reasonable value for money."

"This hotel is about a 12-14 minute walk (850 meters) from the train station (which has a metro connection). Hotels in Madrid are generally expensive with small rooms, so the only real perks here are the convenient location and relatively new facilities. I chose it because I had an early high-speed train the next day. I also bought breakfast, but it was incredibly disappointing. I'd highly recommend skipping breakfast here – it doesn't even compare to a B&B breakfast and definitely isn't worth the price."

"The hotel's location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk from Puerta del Sol, and other major attractions are also within walking distance. The surrounding area is very lively, but the hotel itself is quiet, so my rest at night was undisturbed. Although the single room wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate for one person. The room facilities were new and very clean. The breakfast selection was rich and the ingredients fresh, and all the staff were very nice."

"The hotel is conveniently located, with a train station within easy walking distance within 10 mins, making it very accessible for travel. The reception staff provided good service and were helpful throughout the stay. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room comfortably cool, and the shower had a reliable supply of hot water. However, the room itself felt a bit small, and the television was positioned very close to the bathroom area, which made the layout slightly awkward and easy to bump into if not careful."

"Interesting hotel, but there were some surprises. The place looks rundown from the street, but inside it is in good condition. It must have the smallest elevator that I've ever seen, but it works! We were allocated room 105, above the entrance. It has interesting decor, but to be honest we would have preferred functionality over funky. The curtains wouldn't close completely, so there was a shaft of light in our eyes while trying to sleep, and there was a lot of street noise too. Getting allocated a room higher up and/or located on the back of the hotel would have been better."

"Absolutely no amenities provided in the room. You have to ask to the receptionist and even so, they don't give you the basic set at once. Male receptionist was not friendly at all, cold and inhospitable. Wasn't a pleasant experience. Room was pretty small but it wasn't an issue personally. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Hot water ran 24/7. Room got cleaned everyday, but I notice it did get dusty. One of my personal belonging got damaged during cleaning but I didn't lodge a complaint. At 12-1 AM the garbage truck will come daily and it will be noisy if your room faces the street. Hotel allowed luggage storage. They will issue you a ticket to get your stuffs back. Location wise, it's a 10 mins walk to the Canal metro station that takes you to city center. No major shopping malls nearby, only small convenient stores and plenty of bars/diners."

"Madrid is also my go-to hotel whenever I travel abroad. I only stayed for one night and completely forgot to take photos of the room. Check-in was super smooth, and the front desk staff spoke English. The room had all the disposable amenities except for a toothbrush. The decor was simple yet functional, the bedding was comfy, and the breakfast was excellent – rich and nutritious. Plus, the location is really convenient!"
