The front desk staff speak both English and Chinese, so communication was not an issue at all. The hot spring has long opening hours, and there's a washer and dryer available, so you can check from your room when it's free before heading down. I've stayed at Dormy Inn several times, and I personally feel that as long as the location suits your needs, you can book blindly without worrying about a bad experience."

"This is my third time visiting Kobe, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Motomachi Station, right next to Chinatown, and across from a 7-Eleven and Daimaru department store. There's also a 7-Eleven and Starbucks downstairs. Getting to Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko is very convenient with direct transport options. The breakfast is quite good too, offering a good selection of meat, eggs, and dairy, plus complimentary afternoon tea. The front desk is on the second floor. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

We also booked breakfast this time, and it was quite good – simple yet satisfying. For a Japanese hotel, the triple room was a decent size, though we did have to take turns opening our luggage due to space constraints. The beds were comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Overall, the stay was very satisfying, and I'd recommend this practical hotel."

The direct bus stop for Kansai Airport and Itami Airport is right across from the hotel, so you don't have to drag your luggage far after landing. It's a quick 20-minute ride to Osaka Umeda and 40 minutes to Kyoto, making day trips a breeze. The self-service breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, including Kobe specialty bread, Japanese side dishes, and fresh fruit. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are also available, offering great value for money. There's a Lawson convenience store right by the entrance on the ground floor and a large supermarket next door, making it super easy to buy water, snacks, simple meals, and even cosmetics morning and night. The room type is comfortable, clean, and well-organized. Compared to other business hotels in similar locations in Japan, the room space is quite generous. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again."

"We stayed as a family of four with two children. The room had four single beds lined up side by side, so it was nice and spacious to sleep in. The room was fine since we only needed to sleep, but there was only one chair and a small table, so it didn't feel very relaxing. After checking in, we went to the large public bath right away, had dinner, and went to sleep right away. The fact that there was a washing machine and dryer was a nice feature! The large public bath had an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a single-person bath, so it was spacious enough that we didn't need to go to the nearby paid bath. I was happy that they had ten-grain rice at the breakfast buffet. The French toast, which was baked right in front of us, was delicious! Both the Japanese and Western food were delicious, and the portions were just right. The kids were very satisfied, even eating mini cakes in the morning. Free parking for guests is also a great service! I'd definitely like to stay here again when I visit Nesta!"

"This was the kids' favorite hotel during our 15-day trip to Japan. The mountain scenery is beautiful, it's very quiet, and the air is fresh. We had a lot of fun making a fire, cooking, and having a BBQ together. The house is well-maintained, clean, refreshing, and warm enough. The staff are all very friendly and always provide timely assistance. The hotel's paid shuttle service can take you to some nearby attractions, which is also very convenient."

"This hotel is recommended for family trips. While the entire building exudes a sense of history, both the exterior and interior are extremely luxurious, and the grounds are used lavishly. The hotel's abundant use of natural stone, particularly within the building, and its on-site wedding venue, highlight its former luxury status. While the hotel shows signs of age, it is well-maintained and clean. The hot spring water is rich and contains a high amount of iron, making it impossible to see the bottom of the tub, and the iron solidifies outside the bathtub. It was a memorable experience for hot spring lovers. The service was also very courteous, and despite our late check-in, we were accommodated promptly. Breakfast offered a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes, a wide variety of drinks, and homemade dishes like scrambled eggs and simmered pumpkin. We were very satisfied with both the variety and the taste. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. It's only about an hour from the Osaka Expo site, making it a recommended base for travelers from Kobe, especially during times when hotel prices in urban areas are soaring."
