"The room we booked wasn’t as shown in the pictures, we booked after checking the prices and pictures. But after talking to the staff, they moved us to the room that was in the pictures. The breakfast was excellent! And the views and location are great. Just be careful when checking the pictures the rooms might be different with what you choose."

"Hotel itself is ok with up to standard service from hotel staff, room size is typical Japanese budget hotel & acceptable based on Japanese hotel standard, have complimentary hot spring with 2 pools and 10 washing space in such standard and room rate is good enough. Location also ok with only 3 minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station. The only area not feeling good is the public area walkway, lift from hotel to metro with rubbish that no one to clean for 2 days."

"I booked a corner suite, and the room was huge with an amazing view. It had a massive jacuzzi, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of shopping – I felt completely refreshed and ready to go again the next day! Though, I have to say, for Kobe, the price wasn't exactly cheap, so it really depends on what you're looking for. During the day, there are malls and an Aeon supermarket around the hotel, but there are no convenience stores nearby at night, which was a bit inconvenient. So, remember to stock up before heading back to the hotel. I didn't book breakfast as it seemed to be a set menu, which I'm not a fan of. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Kobe."

"Second stop of our Japan trip 🚄 The hotel boasts a strong colonial American style, which gives it a unique charm compared to the many minimalist Japanese hotels. It's super convenient for shopping nearby, with plenty of places to indulge within walking distance. The minibar offers a good variety of items; not luxurious, but definitely thoughtful! Plus, most of them are complimentary. Overall, the hotel is really nice and beautiful. The only minor drawback is that the front desk on the first floor is sometimes unstaffed. However, whenever there was staff present, the experience was good. During check-in, the front desk staff's service level felt a bit lacking, and English communication was quite a struggle. But despite that, the overall stay was pleasant, and I would choose this hotel again next time I visit Kobe."
