TtomsskyIt's a wonderful place, quiet and cozy. The owner and staff are very friendly. The environment is elegant, like your own garden villa, with birds singing and flowers blooming. The included kaiseki dinner was also amazing, with great presentation and flavor. The hot springs are also very good. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to the mountain stream is very relaxing!

AAnonymous UserNot sure what has happened to Japan standard in the past couple of years but had called the hotel to confirm that linens are scent free (standard in Japan before) and was told yes. Unfortunately they are not, this new laundry detergent that is slowly spreading throughout Japan is absolutely horrible causing all sorts of allergic reactions (not only to me.) I start having rashes, compromised breathing, and inflammation issues. If it’s the same detergent used back in America, then it might be eco-friendly, but definitely not human friendly. I truly hope that Japan goes back to the way it was before the introduction of some western products filled with harmful chemicals to humans. It is not because you don’t react to it that it is not harming your body, it’s only a question of time and when it does, you won’t know why and there is no turning back. Take it from an Asian American born who was the biggest fan of American marketed products. We do have good products like ECOLAB, which is both, sustainable for the environment without compromising human health. Maybe laundry company should look into that company or simply return to Japanese products before. Good thing thing their pyjama are still scent free so I had to wrap the bed and cover with their pyjama to get through the night.

GGuest UserLocation is great as it is practically adjacent to the Sannomiya train station. However, there is a major scale construction going on now, right exactly in front of the hotel and if you are not observant, it could easily slip your sight. Also note there are two Tokyu Rei hotels nearby each other and if you are taking a taxi from Shin Kobe station, remember to clearly specify the destination is Sannomiya Tokyu Rei and not the nearby one in Moto Machi which the driver brought us to. As is typical of most hotels in Japan, even though we had a twin room, space was rather limited and we barely had enough to even open up a medium size luggage bag let alone two. A big plus point was food options were everywhere and all within walking distance, with many eateries just directly behind the hotel and more as you walk down the main road leading to a row of various restaurants and various eateries for all budgets. Check-in was of the touch machine kind which is typical of Japan now and staff were at hand to help and guide along. They were also especially helpful providing useful information as to where to go for a good meal and how to get to other places of interests. Given the proximity to train station, the food options around and the price we paid, Kobe Sannomiya Tokyu Rei is a good choice for a stay in Kobe.

LlimmaysallyMost comfortable bed that I stay in Japan for the past 2 months. Lucky we stay here for 4 nights. Bed is very firm but not hard which is good for our back. Room is very clean and bathroom is spaces that I can sit on bath tub and shower. It would be perfect if the room is slightly bigger. They charge parking for 2000¥ for night which is too high for me but the front desk young lady ( ********* girl) who was very friendly and helpful, she recommended me to park my car at nearby coin parking which cost me on 800¥ for 24 hours. Thank you so much Miss 余.

CCamilla TamI booked this place at the last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Arima Onsen by one night and most hotels were fully-booked. I searched on *********** but couldn't find any suitable accomodation so thought to try Trip.com. This hotel came up only on this site and I was delighted to find it. At first I was concerned by the lack of reviews, but all the reviews were good and the room looked ideal for a family of four; 2 western beds and 2 tatami beds, with spacious living area and separate bathroom and toilet. It was really great value for money. The size of the room was very generous, and the facilities were great. We made use of the Onsen baths and the table tennis room during our stay. None of the staff spoke english but this wasn't an issue as they were all adept at using google translate. The location is also fine - it is situated between the town and the ropeway, so it is easy walking distance to each, which was very useful since they dont offer any shuttle service. All in all I would reccomend it for a short stay in Arima onsen as it is really good value for money.

KKKOne word ”positive”. This Xiaoduli is the other garden of another hot spring hotel above. There are kaiseki dishes and fire dinner. In the evening, you have to go up for a minute to eat, so you must go to the 7/F public bathing hot spring to soak first, and then go to eat. You can book a family room (two of them) for 45 minutes per room per day. Before arriving, you can call to book a car to pick you up at the station, and the hotel will email you in advance. The two meals included are very rich, with delicious ingredients, including beef and fish. There is a self-service water bar in the middle lobby, with hot and cold green tea, coffee, etc. There is no toilet in the room, you have to use the public toilet, but it is very clean. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the hot spring street, where you can spend half a day.

EEterNaL_The hotel was located in a quiet part of the neighbourhood where and is a 5 - 8 minute walk from the Boeki Center Station on the Port Liner and is just 1 train station away from Sannomiya station. The surrounding area near the hotel had a convenience store as well a few restaurants not too far from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and was patient and helpful with my friend and I and tried to converse with us in english to try further explain to us about the facilities the hotel provided along with the different ammentities that came along with it. We are very thankful for the hospitality and the kindness show and would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

MmharsnI liked the room. It had a good layout and everything I needed to be comfortable. The bed and pillow were nice, and the internet speed was good. However the desk and everything on it was covered in dust. It's located between the two main train stations, but close to neither. When I checked out, I asked to leave my bags with reception for 2 hours while I went to breakfast, but was told that only guest checking in can check their bags ☹️. I was able to leave them in the lobby, though. There is construction happening right next door, so it was a bit noisy during the day. Long waits for the elevator, which is slow and busy. Potentially, it's a nice hotel. It just needs some improvement to the cleanliness and staff friendliness.
