✔️ Permitted (Carry-on/Pocket)

• Disposable Lighters: Such as the common Bic lighter.
• Zippo Lighters: As long as the fuel has been fully absorbed by the wick.
• Arc/Plasma Lighters: Must be carried on board, not checked in. Must have a device to prevent accidental activation (such as a safety lock or protective case).

• Torch Lighters: Those that produce a strong blue flame are prohibited in both carry-on and checked baggage.

In Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, the rules are very consistent: only one ordinary lighter is allowed in carry-on baggage; it is absolutely prohibited in checked baggage.
