Desa Potato Head Bali
"Desa Potato Head enjoys a fantastic location in Seminyak, surrounded by great restaurants and just a short distance from the shopping district. We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The bathtub overlooking the lush garden was a particularly nice touch, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a day out. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning yoga session, a wonderful way to start the day. The resort also offers several swimming pools, allowing guests to choose between different settings depending on their mood. Combined with the vibrant beach club atmosphere and sustainability-focused concept, Desa Potato Head delivers a unique Bali experience. The property itself is a visual masterpiece, featuring striking architecture that blends contemporary design with Balinese influences. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. From the iconic beachfront views and artistic installations to the beautifully designed walkways and pools, there are countless Instagram-worthy spots throughout the resort. The main drawback is the transportation arrangement. The hotel actively supports the local community and appears to encourage the use of local taxi services, as indicated by signage displayed in the lobby area. On its website, the policy is described as being due to local community regulations. As a result, app-based ride services such as Grab and Gojek are required to pick up guests at the end of the driveway on Jalan Petitenget rather than directly from the hotel lobby. As a savvy traveller who likes to compare prices before booking transportation, I found this arrangement somewhat inconvenient. While the hotel can readily arrange local taxis, their fares are generally less competitive than those offered by ride-hailing apps. Guests must either walk to the main road or request the hotel’s shuttle to the entrance on Jalan Petitenget, then locate a suitable pickup point to meet their driver. This can be inconvenient, particularly in hot weather, during rain, or when travelling with luggage. Overall, Desa Potato Head is an excellent choice for its location, facilities, wellness activities, unique architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. If the transportation arrangement is improved or a more convenient pickup point is provided, the guest experience would be even better."

We are looking forward to returning here again in the not too distant future!"

Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Villas & Spa
"Service here was exceptional. Had welcome drinks and afternoon tea. The staff were super friendly and the villa was amazing"
Puri Bagus Candidasa
"Booked Puri Bagus Candidasa right after my diving stint at Padangbai. Was a great choice to just zone out and unwind. The hotel restaurant overlooks the beach, and there’s even a poolside bar. Rooms were huge and clean. Especially love love love the bathroom! Also highly recommend Vincent’s Restaurant which is close by. Right outside the hotel by the beach, you can easily rent a spider boat to bring you tow Gili Tepekong or Gili Mimpang or Blue Lagoon even. The hotel also provides daily land tours if you’re looking for things to do. So happy with my stay, would be back again!"

Homm Saranam Baturiti
"I had a spectacular experience at Homm Saranam. It is one of the best hotels in Bedugul, offering beautiful views, fresh air, and stunning natural scenery. The hospitality was excellent, especially from the front office staff, Ms. Rastiti. The other staff members were also friendly and consistently welcomed guests with a smile. I stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortably accommodated four adults. To reach the family room on the first floor, guests take a glass escalator, which made the stay feel unique compared to other hotels I have visited in Indonesia. The food was at a four-star hotel standard. Overall, if you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, and relieve stress, Bedugul is the perfect destination, and Homm Saranam is definitely worth visiting."
Vivara Bali Private Pool Villas & Spa Retreat
"Hotel staffs were very friendly and did provide good service. We had a wonderful stays. Great"
Raffles Bali
"Excellent experience!"
Lumbini Luxury Villas and Spa Bali
"The deluxe villa was adorable and ample for two with the private pool, spacious bathroom and nice big bed. Air conditioning was great in the room and was much required due to the hot bali weather. The villa grounds are well maintained and beautiful and has two separate common pools as well. Daily housekeeping is a plus. Many amenities are available along with in house spa centre. Buffet breakfast was good but somewhat repetitive in the type of food offered but was large in selections available, also the breakfast area has no air conditioning so that's a bit of disappointment. Cleanliness can be better in the sense of fixtures in the bathroom and soap holders or so look a bit rundown. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well as helping in nature. I will definitely visit again if i can. Thanks for a memorable experience!"
Wapa di Ume Sidemen
"Great relaxing hotel with 2 pools À la carte breakfast Large rooms but no tv"
Kinama Villa Jimbaran Bali
"exceed expectation near airport good location very spacious villa with reasonable price"
Sakti Garden Resort & Spa
"I had a lovely stay at Sakti Garden Resort & Spa. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, making it a great place to relax. The staff were especially lovely and accommodating throughout my stay, always friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. The massage at the spa was also so good and made the stay feel even more relaxing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d happily stay again."
Villa Koura Kuta
"Nice pool, warm shower and clean room. Several minutes walk to a mall. A little busy area, City noise made us awake sometimes. But it was a nice stay."
Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Ngurah Rai
"Overall was okay. Saya extend 1 malam lagi di hotel ini, dimana acara kantor saya memang menginap di hotel ini. Jadi daripada saya repot ganti hotel, saya lanjutkan saja disini karna nyaman juga."
Mara River Safari Lodge Bali
"We were warmly welcomed by the concierge, who helped take care of our luggage so we could check in comfortably. That said, our carry-on bags were placed directly on the floor, which was quite dirty and a little off-putting. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, taking the time to clearly explain the amenities and services included in our stay. The place was surprisingly clean and didn’t have any unpleasant smells, even though animals were located very close to our room. On the downside, being a safari resort, there were quite a number of bugs and lizards in the room. The bathroom drainage was also poor, with the shower area flooding every time we used it. Location-wise, most activities within the safari were within walking distance, and buggy services were available for places further away, which was convenient. However, traveling out of the safari was quite a hassle as it’s far from most places. Grab bookings were inconvenient too, we had to call the driver every time to guide them into the hotel lobby instead of the ticketing office. Paid activities within the safari are also on the pricey side, with basic animal feeding costing around USD 12. That said, kudos to the receptionist for kindly delivering our GrabFood orders straight to our room. Overall, it’s a great place for kids and families to visit, but I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight. A day trip would probably be more than enough."
Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud, a Tribute Portfolio Resort
"My wife and i had an enjoyable stay at this new Marriott property. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable but the biggest asset are the staff, so hospitable particularly Hendy - a credit to the hotel. The only negatives was villa pool was not heated, we organised a room move to heated pool villa and for me and this simply my opinion, its too hilly - so steep which was challenging for a old man like me"
Aruni Bali Jimbaran Boutique Villa
"The Mutiara is fantastic value for money and the 3 bedroom villa we had was an amazing space for the family to enjoy. The private pool was incredible and the rooms were well appointed with everything needed. The communal villa area had a living room, sofas, a bar area, sink, microwave, fridge, and coffee drip machine. The hotel even provided a water bottle tower with free water which was amazing for 5 people. They also provided a great Harmon Kardon Bluetooth speaker to play music from our phones whilst enjoying the pool. The drawbacks were: Some fixtures and fittings are getting old and worn and the maintenance is not great. The ac in all the rooms was underpowered and not strong enough to keep the rooms cool enough at night. The location is not ideal as the road outside is very busy, there are not really any proper pavements and apart from a few small convenience stores locally, everything is a taxi ride to anything. The beach is too far on a dangerous road to walk."
Hotel Indigo BALI SEMINYAK BEACH by IHG
"Very glad to stay in this no fuss, yet very homely feel hotel in Seminyak. There is attention to detail. Breakfast was super good, I especially like the ala carte buffet. There is quality in each item. My favourite was the jamul drink! When i lost my daughter's hat, Mul from the reception counter helped to find help to get it back, a simple yet valuable help to me! Very hospitable guy as well, he's worked there for 9 years. Great job, Hotel Indigo Bali team!"
