Walking along the trails and taking the cable car offered beautiful panoramic scenery at every turn. It’s a perfect place for hiking, sightseeing, and enjoying a peaceful day away from the city. Overall, Jinfo Mountain is a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor adventures.

Cool place, 1 km walk from beginning to end (2 km round trip). Lots of other places to walk besides the main "old street". Lots of samples, you might get full lol. There is no Mahua museum (contrary to some internet articles). The Mahua museum is just a store called "Mahua museum" so don't get too excited. There is a Mahjong museum that was really cool for you Mahjong aficionados with old tables, old sets, and cool stuff. In terms of walkability most of it is flat but expect to go up and down about 30 steps each way. So doable if you are older or not super fit but not for wheelchairs

Five-star reviews, Ciqikou Ancient Town, also a food street, it is very convenient to go there, take the subway to Ciqikou subway station and walk a few steps to get there, there are many jewelry sellers, snack sellers, and peach blossom wine sellers, by the way, there is also the scenic spot Zhongjiayuan, and there seems to be a place where storytelling performances are held, but unfortunately there was no one there when we went there, generally speaking, it is still worth a walk

The front desk service was excellent; the staff, all dressed in suits and white shirts, were incredibly polite. Even the cleaning staff would politely greet you, which made for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also very generous. Laundry and drying facilities were always available without any wait, which was a nice touch. The building itself is grand, with high floors offering great views, especially pleasant at night. The soundproofing is excellent too; the heavy doors and soundproof strips mean you can't hear any noise from next door. They also provide a complimentary large fruit platter, a free minibar, and many free beverages. I particularly liked that the bed area, a more private space, isn't visible immediately upon entering the room – a very well-thought-out design. 👍👍👍 Hygiene: The cleanliness was exceptional. I checked several nooks and crannies, and there was no dust, which was very impressive. Environment: The environment was also fantastic. The hallways felt private and quiet. The high floor offered expansive views and good natural light, which was a big plus. Facilities: The lobby manager mentioned that the hotel was only renovated this year, and staying in a new hotel and new rooms was very comfortable. The overall quality is definitely top-notch. 👍👍👍

This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again it did not disappoint. The location is excellent — within walking distance to the metro station and close to our favorite restaurants, which makes getting around and dining out very convenient. We also tried the hotel’s dinner buffet during this visit and were very happy with the experience. The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything we sampled was fresh and flavorful. Overall, the combination of a great location, comfortable stay, and enjoyable dining makes this hotel a reliable choice for us. We look forward to returning again in the future.

My stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Raffles City commercial center, with endless shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Getting around was incredibly convenient. The room itself was exceptionally spacious and bright, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Chongqing from every window. It was fully equipped with amenities like a kitchen and laundry facilities, making for a very comfortable stay – perfect for families or business travelers. A special shout-out to the hotel staff for their warm and attentive service; they were always quick to assist with everything from check-in to daily needs, which was incredibly comforting. Both the facilities and service quality were truly impressive. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

For my last two days in Chongqing, I returned to my beloved Kempinski Hotel. It's an older five-star, so the facilities are a bit dated, but the service is absolutely top-notch! The toiletries are well-stocked and high quality, and the staff are warm and polite. The first room I was given had an odor, and they immediately and swiftly arranged for staff to help me switch rooms and move my luggage. The breakfast quality is excellent with a wide variety of choices, and everything tastes great – you could eat something different every day. I'll definitely be back!

Mercure Chongqing Jiefangbei is a great choice for anyone looking for convenience and excellent service in the city centre. The hotel is located near the well-known food street, with many local eateries, shops, and tourist attractions within easy reach. This made our stay very convenient, especially when we wanted to explore the area or find something to eat. The staff also made a very positive impression. Every request was handled efficiently and to a very high standard. They helped us collect our parcels and also took the initiative to share recommendations for nearby places to visit, even before we asked. A helpful tip for future guests is to add the hotel team on WeChat when checking in. They are quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Thanks to their thoughtful service and the hotel’s excellent location, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Came to Chongqing for my kid's spring break, and the hotel's location is excellent – you can see Jiefangbei right from the main entrance. However, the hotel is quite old. The air conditioning units feel like they're from a renovation ten years ago. Because it was raining the day we arrived, the room also had a strong musty smell, and there was a bad odor from the bathroom drains. We arrived too late that day to switch rooms, but I did communicate the situation to the front desk when checking out. They responded very quickly, and their service attitude is definitely commendable. With the room rate approaching 900 near the May Day holiday, the value for money is questionable. I've stayed at many Hyatt hotels across the country, and this one doesn't stand out for its facilities.

The facilities are a bit old, but generally well-maintained. I stayed on the 26th floor and the room had a damp smell, which wasn't great. The windows felt like they weren't there at all; they provided no soundproofing. The showerhead was leaking and needs to be replaced. The elevators in the public areas felt like they had no AC, were very hot at noon, and were slow. Hygienics: Meets Hyatt standards. Environment: Meets Hyatt standards. Service: So-so. After 10 PM, there was no answer when calling room service. Location: Good, quiet yet central. There are many shopping areas nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Other: The executive lounge's food was average with no live cooking stations. The pool has a hot tub and dry sauna, but the water quality was mediocre. Overall, everything is quite old.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on Nanbin Road. It's super convenient to get to attractions in Yuzhong District, but without the noise you'd find around Jiefangbei, making it perfect for a restful stay. We were upgraded to an executive floor river view room, and they even provided a baby crib. The room was spacious, ideal for families traveling with children. Room amenities were complete. Even though it's an older hotel, the cleanliness and facilities are still up to par – it feels classic, not run-down. The location is fantastic, very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, so it's super lively. The room was spacious and bright, and the river view was excellent. We booked an executive suite with two bedrooms and a living room, and it even had a kitchen, fridge, and washing machine, which was all great. The only downsides were that the smart toilet's bidet function didn't work, the air conditioning was very noisy, and there was no night light, which made going to the bathroom at night inconvenient. The bed was large, but one side didn't have a nightstand, making it difficult to charge phones.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practical for a business stopover, but genuinely inconvenient for female guests. Let me break down the pros and cons: I was in Chongqing for a business trip this week, and after finishing work, I stayed an extra day to explore. I switched to this hotel, and overall, the value for money was decent. Here's my actual experience: 【Pros】 The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk to the interchange station for Metro Lines 3 and 6. Whether you're rushing for work or exploring on the weekend, it's never out of the way, saving a lot of time. Although the decor is a bit older, the king-size room is genuinely spacious. It felt comfortable and roomy, making it a good value for a business stopover. 【Cons】 The common issues of older buildings are quite apparent. The air conditioning noise is really loud, which could easily disturb light sleepers. It's really not friendly for women: there's no vanity table in the room at all, and the bathroom lighting is incredibly dim. It's impossible to see clearly when putting on makeup before heading out, and picking out clothes and matching colors is pure guesswork, which is quite a hassle. When I checked in, I found small bugs in the room, which was a bit off-putting. If you're just looking for a simple one-night stopover and don't have high expectations for accommodation, its prime location definitely makes it an option. However, for solo female travelers or those with high standards for sleep and details, I'd recommend looking at other options.

The service was excellent throughout my stay, with all of the staff being friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank Receptionist No. 3, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the view from the room was simply spectacular, especially at night when the city lights came alive. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that the breakfast seemed to be more focused on local Chinese tastes and wasn't exactly tailored towards foreign visitors. I especially enjoyed the luxuriousness and cleanliness of the room. The views were spectacular, offering beautiful panoramas of the city, river, and surrounding mountains. The hotel's facilities were chic and modern, although the layout was a bit unusual. Arriving at an almost vacant ground-floor lobby and then proceeding to the 53rd floor for check-in was an interesting experience. While the bellmen and concierge staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both upon arrival and throughout my stay, it felt somewhat strange not having front desk staff immediately available on the ground floor. I requested a non-smoking room, but as soon as I opened the door, there was a strong smell of smoke. Although it was handled promptly, it shouldn't have happened. The service was acceptable for Chongqing, but there's room for improvement. My most significant impression this stay was the unprofessional staff. I don't understand why even in-house guests at the bar by the window are subject to a minimum spend. They were also confused about my payment at checkout, even though I had already paid for the room. And during checkout, a staff member kept asking me to leave a positive review on Trip.com, which doesn't align with the ambiance of a luxury hotel.

This was my first time staying inside the Fairy Mountain Scenic Area, and it's incredibly convenient if you're only planning to explore this vicinity. Stepping out, you're immediately greeted by stunning views of blue skies, white clouds, and vast green fields. The hotel offers personalized one-on-one service. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was incredibly kind and spoke very softly. She was super responsive to all my questions via WeChat. The hotel's pricing is also very reasonable. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit!

I wanted a quieter hotel and ended up choosing the Marriott. It's definitely much quieter than the bustling downtown area of Yuzhong. The hotel is a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated, but the room we stayed in was well-maintained. The breakfast is great for those who don't eat spicy food, and the *xiaomian* (noodles) were delicious! I especially loved their homemade chili oil – a spoonful in the noodles made them fragrant without being too spicy. In the evening, you can go up to the observation deck to see the night view, with the neon lights of both banks stretching out before you.

Whenever I go to Chongqing, I always visit Guanghuan Plaza, which reminded me of this hotel nearby. After checking in, all I can say is that I got a five-star hotel experience for less than 800 yuan. First, let's talk about the room layout: two 1.35-meter single beds can be combined to form a massive 2.7-meter double bed. This is perfect if you're staying with kids – plenty of space. The room also has a bathtub, and crucially, it came with disposable bathtub liners (I forget the exact term!). Plus, the children's amenities provided were really good quality, not just an afterthought. What's even more impressive is that they placed dental floss right on the vanity – all the little touches were delightful. The product manager truly deserves commendation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious food. What really blew me away was finding steamed red dates at a buffet for the first time – that's a treat I usually only get at home!

The front desk upgraded our room, which made our stay much better than expected. The hotel is right in the heart of Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, super close to Bayi Delicious Street and Hongyadong, all within walking distance. If you go during off-peak hours, shopping is completely uncrowded, and you get an unobstructed view of the city's nightscape. The room facilities are brand new and in perfect condition, and the soundproofing is excellent. They even offer a late checkout until 2 PM, so you can leisurely visit attractions without rushing. Definitely the king of value for money for off-peak travel!

Staying at this hotel was such a comfortable experience during my trip! The hotel amenities were really thoughtful. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious, and they even offered a complimentary breakfast for my child. The slim front desk attendant was incredibly kind and even gave me a foot bath, which instantly relieved my travel fatigue. It was truly warm and considerate service. The hotel's environment is elegant, and the location is convenient, close to both scenic spots and commercial areas. Highly recommended! [Strong][Strong][Strong]

The room facilities are clean and hygienic, the environment is good and not noisy. The lady at the front desk who checked in and the service staff were gentle and polite. You can eat authentic Chongqing hotpot 🥘 downstairs, nice. There are also commercial streets and different snacks and convenience stores nearby, which is quite good.

The room was clean, the decor was a bit dated, but overall comfortable. The room facing the road was noisy, but it didn't affect my high-quality sleep. My friends stayed in the quieter room on the other side. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Transportation nearby is very convenient; it's not far from any major attractions. There are many restaurants across the street from the hotel, so you can easily find something good to eat. The front desk staff were very welcoming. This is my second time staying here, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.
