This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

Some rooms even include a private hot spring bath, instantly elevating the experience. 3. Some Tips: • Due to its natural setting, mosquito repellent is recommended in summer. • Some areas of the hotel may have many steps; those carrying large luggage or with mobility issues should contact the hotel in advance for assistance. • Due to its popularity, especially on holidays and weekends, early booking is advised. In summary, Yixing West Bank Huangchuan Hotel has become one of the most highly regarded high-end resort hotels in Yixing and even the Yangtze River Delta region, thanks to its secluded yet accessible location, artistic design, guest rooms with direct views of the mountains and water, meticulous service, and immersive natural experience.

The butler service is well-established, with proactive communication before arrival, shuttle services within the park, and thoughtful welcome gifts, all with quick response times. The hardware is high-end, featuring private hot spring rooms with excellent privacy. Toiletries, bedding, and smart devices are all of high quality. Local amenities are comprehensive, with a full range of dining options, purple clay pottery workshops, and nearby attractions, making it a one-stop destination for a complete holiday experience.

Tao Lu B&B in Yaohu Town was such a wonderful surprise! The scenic area is beautiful and tranquil, the water show is enchanting, and the kiln fire show in the evening is absolutely spectacular. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with many details catering to children's needs, making it a great place to bring kids. The hot springs were fantastic, with a first-class environment, comfortable temperature, and good privacy. During the weekdays, it was less crowded, giving it a private feel.

Inadvertently brushed, it should feel good to look at, and it is pet-friendly, so I booked a room. The landlord was very enthusiastic and recommended local tourism and restaurants. After arriving, it was a bit unexpected. First of all, parking was convenient and opened directly to the door. Secondly, it was clean. It was the cleanest of the homestays I have ever stayed in. The room layout was also very comfortable and hot water was very fast. Breakfast is a simple Chinese meal made by the landlord's mother, simple but nutritious. The landlord is very patient with pets and thoughtfully helped us bring 🐶 for a few hours. Thank you very much. I will go there if I have a chance.

The front desk lady was quite welcoming and patient, but here are some complaints. On our first day, the hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired. First, the tea leaves from the previous guest were still in the teapot, still warm (though we didn't use them, leaving them on the coffee table was a bit unacceptable). Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.

I went to Yixing with my family on weekends. I found the hotel by accident. The hotel is located in the foothills of Nanyue Mountain in Yixing. The air is fresh and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is suitable for relaxing on weekends and short vacations. The hotel is a moderate drive from Shanghai, convenient for self-driving travel, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The parent-child facilities are rich, the children's playground, billiards, chess and card room, adults and children have a great time, the experience is very good, and I will stay next time.
