"Had a fantastic trip to Kanazawa this time! The hotel was super clean, and the front desk staff were so kind and welcoming. The location is excellent too; many attractions are within walking distance, and there's a bus stop right across the street, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, a great stay! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Kanazawa! 😆"

"The hotel is in central Kanazawa, about an 18-minute walk from JR Station. On the first day, we checked in and went out to find food, but it started raining, which was a bit of a struggle and really dampened my impression of the city. The rest of our stay was cloudy, and it even sleeted. The famous Kenrokuen Garden was shrouded in mist, making it impossible to truly appreciate its beauty. I honestly couldn't understand why this city is so renowned; I felt a bit misled. Thankfully, visiting Amaharashi in Takaoka made the trip worthwhile. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant's ambiance created a great sense of luxury. We even found a restaurant that Abe once visited for dinner, which was a nice little social media moment."

"HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future."

"I stayed here in Kanazawa, and it's about 400m from Kanazawa Station, which is quite convenient. Service: Excellent! The front desk staff were all great and very responsive. The hotel's front desk is on the 13th floor and offers fantastic views, especially at sunset – it's practically a free observation deck. It's also very friendly for train enthusiasts; you can easily set up a tripod to photograph trains, which is a definite five-star feature. Hygiene: Very good, no complaints. Facilities: Parking for two nights was a little over 2000 yen, I've forgotten the exact number. However, there are very few parking spaces, only about 10. If you're driving, I recommend arriving early as hotel parking is first-come, first-served. Environment: Uh, it's a bit too close to the railway line. The soundproofing in the rooms is just okay. I suggest getting earplugs from the front desk if you're a light sleeper (though it's not that exaggerated); the noise is mostly negligible."

"The room was spacious and very comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, and there's a bus stop right outside. Omi-cho Market is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The room came equipped with a facial beauty device and even an electric foot massager, which was a nice surprise. What I was most thrilled about was the wardrobe that sterilizes and de-wrinkles clothes – so convenient for travelers! Besides the free coffee and tea in the lobby, they also provided coins daily per person, which could be used at the vending machines for drinks or exchanged for an alcoholic beverage at the lobby's bar area. The service was also very thoughtful. Highly recommended!"

"It's fine to stay with children under 12, and there's no extra charge. Some hotels in Japan are very lenient about this, while others are strict, so it's something to be aware of. The hotel has a Muji-style design and a public bath. Aside from the women at the front desk, you mostly use your key card to access the elevators, which is also good. The location is excellent, right across from the seafood market. Taxis aren't expensive either, about 1300 yen to the station."

"The hostel on itself was good, but we had to use many time the dryers because it doesn't dry well. After 2 or 3 times, we gave up and took our laundry back in the room.  There was air-conditioning in the room but you can't select the temperature. It was already hot in the room, so we had to open the windows to have a bit of fresh air.  The car park also is a good option but a bit expensive. "

"A great value for money stay in Kanazawa that is just about 5 minutes from Omicho Market and its bus stops that can take you to all the major spots in Kanazawa. A cozy comfortable stay which I will definitely highly consider staying again if I get the chance to go back to Kanazawa. Service was of high standard and the free coffee machine at the lobby was a great plus. Highly recommended!"

"This was our return stay at the hotel, but this time we booked a suite — and it was an excellent choice. The suite is very spacious, even with an extra bed added, making it ideal for families or a group of friends traveling together. The bathroom setup is thoughtful, with the toilet and shower area separated, which really adds convenience when sharing the room. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a lovely view and give the room a bright, open feel. The included massage chair was a wonderful touch — perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. As always, the hotel’s location is unbeatable, right by Kanazawa Station and surrounded by plenty of dining and shopping options. Overall, a comfortable and well-equipped stay that we’d happily repeat."

"This was my first time visiting Kanazawa and staying at this onsen ryokan, and it offered excellent value for money. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with very fresh sashimi, fruits, and milk. The room was comfortable and cozy, and the onsen was fantastic, very relaxing. They even offered complimentary late-night ramen after 9:30 PM, which was also tasty. I would definitely choose to stay at this onsen ryokan again on my next visit to Kanazawa."
