This was my third stay at this hotel since its grand opening. I visit Kaohsiung about every six months, and overall the experience has been consistently pleasant. The facilities are well designed and maintained , and the staff are friendly and professional
.
There was one issue during this stay—the shower drainage was clogged, so I had to use the bathtub instead. This is something that ideally shouldn’t happen at all, but the hotel’s response was okay. They came to fix it next morning as it was late.
The soundproofing and AC are excellent. I especially enjoyed the hot spring and the gym, both of which are well equipped and relaxing. I didn’t include the buffet breakfast this time, as I preferred grabbing local drinks, buns, and snacks from the 7‑Eleven or FamilyMart just across the street as well as leaving room for lunch later.
The desserts at the lobby café were delightful, and the Japanese restaurant was absolutely divine. It’s just a pity that I didn’t know the omakase needs to be pre-booked. The restaurant doesn’t reserve seats for hotel guests or ask about this in advance, which was a bit disappointing. The set menu was very nice.
Overall, it’s still a hotel I enjoy staying.

RisingMinThe location is fantastic! The hotel staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent service. Plus, the entire mini-bar was complimentary and fully stocked. My only minor quibble, especially when comparing it to other five-star hotels at this price point, is that it might fall slightly short. Also, for environmental reasons, the hotel provides minimal toiletries, so it's a good idea to bring your own. Overall, though, I had a very comfortable stay and would absolutely visit again if I get the chance!

MTartHThe room was really big for two of us. I think it was meant to be for four people. They have free snacks and drinks and are refilled every day. The beds are comfy for us as in they are not too soft (we don’t like beds that are too soft that sinks in as our back will feel uncomfortable the next day).

The room is spacious with a great view. The location is very convenient, with many restaurants within walking distance, so you have plenty of dining options even if you don't eat at the hotel.

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day.
The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this.
It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed.
Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

I asked about a late checkout, and they told me I’d have to pay MORE than my original room rate just to stay 4 hrs longer… like what?? 😅 My flight was in the evening, so I only asked until 1 PM and was totally willing to pay a reasonable extra fee. But the price they quoted was way too wild, so I just said nvm. Not sure if it’s bc I’m a foreigner or just their hotel policy, but FYI for anyone planning to stay here.
Basic amenities like a toothbrush and toothpaste weren’t provided unless you asked, which was kinda a hassle tbh. Taxis are pretty easy to get, but the hotel is a bit far from the main areas, so transportation isn’t super convenient and costs can add up. Most of the staff don’t really speak English, so you’ll prob need a translator app. As for friendliness… hmm idk lol. It’s also not very easy to get to a nearby convenience store. Price-wise it’s ok for what it is, but I’d have to think twice about staying here again.

Really nice hotel with history, kind staff and a real charm to it. The weathered paint on the outside adds to the asthetic. Recommended

嘎嘎嘎嘎嘎嘎嘎嘎The service was incredibly warm and friendly.
The breakfast was delicious (though not ideal if you're a big meat-eater, as there wasn't much meat), and for our two-night stay, the hot dishes were never repeated. Plus, you get a great ocean view from the restaurant seating.
The hotel is located in Cijin. We took the ferry from Hamasen MRT (light rail) station to Cijin, walked through the old street to the hotel. There's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and they even provide buckets and shovels for playing in the sand.
Just a quick note: there are two ferry routes to Cijin – one from Gushan Ferry Terminal (NT$30) and another from Pier-2 Art Center (NT$80). The ferries from Gushan, though a bit older, are much more frequent (less than a 10-minute wait between boats, and I'm not sure about off-peak times) and run for much longer hours (I heard from 5 AM to 2 AM).
The hotel room was quite spacious but a bit dated (my only complaint), though it was very clean.

Although the price has increased by 20% during the Easter long holiday, the price is mid-to-high, and it is a good choice in the area, suitable for the whole family to relax. On the first night, the hotel was afraid that we would not have dinner when we went out, so they unexpectedly provided us with a hot meal. Although breakfast was provided, it was not delicious and was very simple. The home-style coffee machine was also very slow and there were too many people. After queuing up, I had to go out to find something to eat for the children at the end. There were small insects in the quilt of the extra bed, so I had to clean it myself. In addition, there are many animals and insects in the mountains. The Villa has a nice swimming pool, so you can first soak in the beautiful mountain scenery. There are alternating hot and cold hot springs. It is also very close to the cherry blossom forest. In addition, it is also close to places around the city. There are 7-11 and restaurants. You can do some activities before breakfast and in the afternoon. The scenery outside the pool is beautiful. Although the price is a bit expensive, it is still Very good experience.
