The room is 153 square meters, spacious and comfortable, with a hot spring and a swimming pool. The MINI bar is free, and Guangxi Bama 1000 ml mineral water is standard. When checking in, the housekeeper Xiao Guo (Guo Chengxiang) arranged a petal turndown service in advance.
Catering service:
There are many varieties of Western and Chinese breakfast. The package booked by Ctrip gave two meals. I thought the catering would be perfunctory, but it turned out to be amazing! Seasonal bamboo shoots, river shrimp, yellow croaker, Liyang special black rice, etc. are super delicious and memorable.
Details and highlights:
The front desk, restaurant, and room service staff all serve with a smile. Special praise should be given to the 24-hour private butler Xiao Guo (Guo Chengxiang), who was very considerate and responsive. I have to give him a thumbs up.

Although the hotel is old as a whole, the environment is clean and the service attitude is good. The room can also be controlled with a small degree. The car is parked at the entrance of the hotel and the guard helps to wash the car. The room also prepares a disposable bathtub cover for bathing. The details are also OK. Although the breakfast on the first day was full of people looking for a long time, the chef who cooked the noodles was still very patient, and the bed was relatively large. GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

We compared many hotels on Ctrip and finally chose Hegu Village. After arriving at the B&B, I can only say that it completely met my initial expectations. It is located in a valley and has a kind of hidden beauty. Sitting under the eaves of the room and daydreaming, I felt like I could relax for the whole day and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city. This feeling of returning to nature is great. The B&B service is also very considerate. The housekeeper will contact us in advance, set up a group, introduce the facilities of the B&B, and reserve meals. We ordered a set meal for 2 people, which was delicious and large in quantity. The breakfast was a set meal, which was also delicious. Before leaving, the housekeeper also gave me peanuts that they grew themselves~

Let me start with the advantages:
1. The customer service is in place and there is a telephone contact before the trip. I feel more enthusiastic on the spot. I consulted the surrounding places on WeChat and gave a better recommendation, which made me see the wonderful lake view sunset. In the room, snacks and fruits are provided, and the details are well received.
I encountered some hardware problems during the check-in process. The customer service lady was also actively dealing with it at night. I also know that this is not subjective to change. I think I want to praise them for actively dealing with problems.
2. The park environment is very good, the morning and evening are relatively quiet, which is one of the reasons why I chose at the beginning. And you can feed fish and cute pets, suitable for walking the baby.
3. The location is quite convenient (if you drive by yourself), very close to the Tianmu Lake archway, and there are many fish head restaurants around.
Inadequate:
1. From the park to the room, there are many steps and ground on the high ground along the way. This kind of homestay is like a family with children or elderly. In fact, there are safety hazards. It is easy to accidentally fall. And there is also a threshold in the toilet and bathroom door of the room, which is difficult to notice at night.
2, breakfast options are limited, but acceptable, anyway, eat a full thing.
3. I may just meet the small children Sutuo team, many children are very noisy. I came to the cute pet paradise and playground. I was very happy to feed the small animals and adults and children, but I just met a group of children running around, especially noisy. The playground watched a big boy walk down the slide in his shoes, a group of people step on the trampoline, and suddenly lose interest in playing for the baby, dirty.
4. There is a problem with the layout of the room. The bathtub is located on the balcony of the room. It may splash water on the floor if you take a bath for the baby. There is no shelf in the bathroom, where to change the clothes? The location of the bathroom and bed~ There is a shelf grid block, no curtains (I don't know if other room types are like this), if the family is traveling, the baby is big, it will not be very inconvenient for one of the parents to take a shower; The projection is installed on the ceiling facing the bed above my head. I feel that this thing has a safety hazard.
5, last but most important, sleep is not good, nervous breakdown carefully consider, with the baby also carefully consider. The hotel has three floors in total. There is no elevator. You have to carry your luggage up hard and no one will carry your luggage for you. It is different from the star hotels in China and abroad. However, the general scenic spot hotel is almost the same as staying for one day! The hotel waiters 💁♂️ are actually OK😌 But the hotel facilities and conditions are really not worthy of the price of 1100 for one night! And the sound insulation of the hotel is very poor. The waiters talk in the corridor, including the sound of talking and laughing when they come back upstairs at night! Our room opens the window and the ancient street is downstairs! My downstairs is Shanghai Aunt! Haha😆 The hotel breakfast is also very average, but there are still basic eggs, milk and bread! The bathroom door in the room needs to be opened sideways. XXiaoshuruantangI was really satisfied. I came with my parents and saw the lovely giant panda house with a sweeping view of the bamboo forest. The floor-to-ceiling windows really gave me a peaceful feeling of living in the forest. The stay was also great.
