The fisherman's head soup tastes good, and I also tasted other varieties of dishes. The restaurant waiters are thoughtful and worthy of praise. The self-service breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a good environment, facing Tianmu Lake, with a variety of breakfast varieties, and Western-style snacks are worth tasting. However, I was arranged in the two rooms facing the elevator. Fortunately, the hotel business was average, so there was no noise. In fact, the difference between executive and luxury is just more bathtubs and a few bottles of free drinks. The room is large and the facilities are very good. The bathroom has a slight odor, but it is fine as long as the toilet door is closed. The high floor where I live may also have something to do with it. I did not encounter the odor problem mentioned in the bad reviews. Objectively speaking, if I don’t take a hot spring bath, it is better than the Yushui Hot Spring Hotel where I stayed the next day, and the price is cheaper. The main reason is the geographical location. It is 50 minutes drive from Nanshan Bamboo Sea and 22 minutes from Shanshui Garden. There is a shopping mall nearby, so it is worth it to be farther away. There are many types of breakfast, and the taste is okay. The vegetables are salty, but it is worth the price. We added a breakfast for teenagers, which cost 28 yuan. The hotel’s Chinese restaurant is particularly good, with five-star service. The Ctrip group meal is very cost-effective. If you add a la carte dishes, the taste is good. Here is a suggestion: add a door to the bathroom area so that families with older children can avoid embarrassment. After taking a shower, you have to put on your clothes in the shower room before you can come out, which is very inconvenient. You can add a toothbrush drawer box to the basin position, and put the cups on the box. Don't put everything on the countertop, so where do you put the guests' clothes?

The uncles and aunts were still talking at 10:50 pm. I asked the housekeeper for 2 more bottles, but he said ”refills are charged”? ? ? The layout is too small🤦♀️ 🍳 Big disappointment in breakfast: It is advertised as ”rich buffet”, but in fact, children over 120cm are charged 68 yuan, but looking at it: biscuits, twisted dough sticks, three kinds of white porridge... hot dishes are like lettuce and cauliflower, with few choices and low value for money!

The place is great for families! I love the setup of the room- balcony and leisure area. They have outdoor activities like ATV, horse riding and kayaking which we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast has nice options, both Chinese and western food. Distance to Nanshan Bamboo Forest is close, and everything else is accessible from the hotel. If you want to go to Tianmahu lake, you can just get a coach nearby. Altogether our experience for 2 nights was lovely! We will book the same hotel when we visit Liyang again in the future.

We originally booked an elegant standard room. I'd heard great things about the hotel's private hot spring rooms, and luckily there was a promotion when we arrived, so we upgraded to a hot spring room for a small extra charge. The room was fantastic! It had its own private hot spring tub and was on a secluded floor. Even the key cards were custom-designed, which was a nice touch. Service: Butler Dai Dai provided excellent service. I happened to mention that the black rice at breakfast was really good, and Butler Dai Dai overheard me and sent some up to our room – so thoughtful and attentive, highly recommend! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. The private hot spring tub water is changed after every guest, and the privacy was excellent. Ambiance: The overall hotel environment is lovely. The central courtyard's water curtain wall is a great spot for photos. Definitely recommend!
