The Augusta Lucilla Palace provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Augusta Lucilla Palace offers a pleasant stay in Rome for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is only 400m from Roma Termini Railway Station and 15km from Giovan Battista Pastine International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Termini Metro Station within walking distance. With multiple attractions nearby including Colle Oppio and Terme di Traiano Park, Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli and National Gallery of Ancient Art in Barberini Palace, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. For guests traveling as a couple, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We booked a 4 people room, and it was very spacious. The air conditioning was quiet, and the safe box was large enough to fit a laptop. The location was excellent as well—less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We arrived in the morning, and the hotel kindly stored our luggage free of charge. We could also refill our water bottles at the restaurant whenever we wanted. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety of choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!"

Hotel very close to Rome Terminal, straight at the middle exit, after the bus terminal then cross the traffic light and that you will see the open-air restaurant, just all the way in that can see the hotel! Everything seems good, just a bit weird of the toilet in the room, maybe we are 3 people, the trible room that at ground, the toilet not suit for us, though the idea which for olderly people and wheelchair user…. perhaps, its a throughtful idea! Staff very nice, helpful and friendly. They would provide the map for you and point to you how to get to the attractions. There have free suitcase storage service!! When we check out, the nice staff gave us the hotels snack and postcards! Thanks!

The hotel is near the subway, but it's a bit of a walk. Even from the closest subway exit, it takes some time to reach the hotel. There's a lobby with a bar. The room isn't large. There's no heating in the room, but there is air conditioning. The bathroom has neither heating nor AC, so showering in winter could be quite cold. Some rooms have a balcony. The room comes with a safe and a mini-fridge. However, there's no coffee maker or kettle. There's no sofa in the room, just a very small desk. The sink in the bathroom was leaking a bit; I woke up to find water on the floor. Breakfast was decent, with a fair variety of options. And the coffee was quite good.

The Unbeatable Gateway: Why This Hotel is My New Travel Holy Grail Just stumbled upon a hotel so perfectly positioned, it feels like discovering a secret cheat code for seamless travel. Forget everything you know about compromise – this place delivers *everything* without the premium price tag. Its location isn't just good; it’s **utterly transformative** for any traveler, especially weary souls like me arriving from long-haul flights. **The Transport Trifecta: Your Effortless Escape Hatch** Stepping out the lobby door feels like holding a master key to the city. Directly downstairs? **Airport buses**! No frantic taxi hunts or confusing shuttle transfers. After a 14-hour journey, seeing that bus stop literally steps away, offering a smooth, affordable ride back to the terminals, was pure bliss. It’s the kind of stress-eraser you only appreciate after dragging luggage across multiple blocks elsewhere. But it gets better. A stone's throw away lies the **central train station**. Not some distant suburban outpost, but the genuine hub connecting you to *every* district, landmark, and hidden gem. Regional day trips? Easy. Exploring quirky neighborhoods? Done. Late-night returns? No problem. The station's comprehensive network meant I could spontaneously chase a sunset view across town or visit a famed museum district without a single transport worry. Freedom, truly unlocked. **The Heartbeat of the City: Steps, Not Strides** Here’s the magic dust: **walkability**. Forget ”close to the center” meaning a 20-minute trek or an expensive Uber. The vibrant city core – pulsating with main squares, iconic cafes, bustling markets, and those irresistible little boutiques – is a mere **10-15 minute stroll** away. I timed it! Wandering home through charming, illuminated streets after dinner, gelato in hand, soaking in the atmosphere without racing for transport… that’s the authentic travel experience we crave. You’re *in* the city, not just near it. **Beyond Logistics: The Pulse of Convenience** The immediate neighborhood isn’t just a transit zone; it’s alive! Need a midnight snack? Corner store open late. Craving authentic local breakfast? Charming bakery two doors down. Forgot your adaptor? Electronics shop around the corner. Pharmacies, casual eateries, coffee spots – it’s all there, woven into the fabric outside your door, making daily needs effortless and adding genuine local flavor. **The Jaw-Dropper: Value That Feels Like a Steal** Given this prime location and unparalleled connectivity, you’d expect a premium price, right? Prepare for a shock. The rates are **remarkably affordable**. It’s not just ”budget-friendly”; it’s **outrageous value**. I kept double-checking, convinced there must be a catch. Clean, comfortable room, essential amenities, friendly staff, *and* this location? For this price? It feels less like paying for a hotel and more like investing in a seamless, enriching travel experience. **The Verdict: Don't Hesitate, Just Book** Honestly? This hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's the ultimate **strategic basecamp** that elevates your entire trip. The unbeatable combo of instant airport access, total city-wide rail connectivity, effortless walkability to the core, vibrant local amenities, *and* genuine affordability is simply unmatched. It removes friction, saves precious time and money, and lets you focus purely on experiencing the destination. After raving about it to fellow travelers at breakfast, I watched them immediately pull out their phones to check availability. It’s that obvious. This isn't just *a* good option; **it’s the smartest choice you can make**. Book it before everyone else discovers this golden spot – you’ll thank yourself from the moment you step off the plane until your final, effortless journey back to the airport. An absolute traveler's triumph!

Generally had a nice time in Rome because of the strategic location of the hotel to the Vatican, the Vatican museums, the bus stops going everywhere.   But there are still lots of room for improvement. Pros: 1. Near the Vatican museums (just have to cross) 2. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby 3. Fast check-in at 3pm.  Can leave luggages at storage area if you arrive early. 4. Room is clean and quite spacious. 5. I purchased some items online and had them delivered to the hotel.  Lady at the frontdesk gladly gave the package to me. 6. Can request toothpaste with toothbrush and front desk gave us plus additonal toilet paper and slippers.   7. The lady at the front desk helped us book our hotel to airport transfer (70 Euros using a BMW). 8. There are clean toilets near the elevator and we used it while waiting for our ride going to the airport.  The lobby is also relaxing and only a few people around.  9. They also have a storage room where we left our luggages when we checkout before 10am.   Cons: 1. Walks ways can be crowded due to many tourists nearby  2. Hot water at the bath area was not available during the morning after our first night.  Forced to take a bath with very cold water during winter time so you can just imagine the discomfort we had to undergo.  Very disappointed with this considering we paid a lot for our stay.  They should have regular check-up and maintenance to avoid this situation. 3. People at the front desks are not really welcoming and rarely smile.  But they finally smiled when I gave them coconut chips as token of our appreciation. 4. Bottled water only available on the first day of stay.  Should be daily.  But can request from the cleaning ladies who were very friendly.  5. Room cleaning is only in the morning before 12noon.  Our room was not cleaned on Jan. 1 because we left our room at almost 12.  No one informed us. 6. When we booked the airport transfer with a lady at the front desk, it looks she did not endorse our airport transfer to the other lady staff who replaced her at the front desk and we were quite alarmed because the driver came in a little past 330pm.  The other lady was even saying that her colleague might have not booked the airport transfer because it should be requested two days ahead of schedule.  Anyway, our ride arrived on time but was not able to get in immediately to the hotel because of lack of parking space in front of the hotel.  We had to cross to get to the black BMW.

We've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design. The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Dimora Delle Cinque Lune. The location is outstanding, just a short walk from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo and Vatican City, making it the perfect base for exploring Rome on foot. Our room was beautifully presented, with décor that blended nicely with the character of the historic building. The comfortable bed, elegant lighting, and unique wallpaper gave the room a boutique feel, while the small balcony overlooking the street was a lovely place to take in the atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. Despite being in such a central location, we slept very well each night. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable hotel in the heart of Rome with all the major sights within walking distance, I would happily recommend Antica Dimora Delle Cinque Lune and would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for couples looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay. Many thanks to all wonderful staffs
