Hotel near Near the Vatican City,Rome
Vatican Treasure offers modern soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV and air conditioning. It is in central Rome, around 1969 feet from St Peter’s Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo. Set on the shopping street Via Cola Di Rienzo, the property is a 5-minute walk from Ottaviano Metro Station. Termini Station is 6 Metro stops away. Guests staying at the B&B can easily reach the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Vatican Museums by metro. Tours to the Vatican Museums and Coliseum as well as bike and car rental service can be organized on request.

"Their place is quite nice, clean and tidy, with spacious rooms. Supermarkets and public transportation are conveniently located nearby, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and the cathedral. The only issue was that Google Maps wasn't very accurate the first time I went; it led me to an apartment building across the street (see picture 2). The hotel is diagonally opposite that building; make sure to check the hotel's exact address. (Pictures 2 and 3 are taken from inside the room.) There's an old elevator in the building, but you can't take it directly from the entrance; you have to climb a few steps. Luggage storage is free, but you have to leave it at their office a few hundred meters away. Personally, I didn't think these were problems. Staying here for Christmas was reasonably priced, and the cathedral was within walking distance, making it good value. By the way, the hotel only has overnight guests; there's no front desk. Staff are in the office a few hundred meters away. To check in, call them from the main entrance facing the street, and they'll come and help you check in."

Amazing
SStellaBellaIt was such a wonderful choice of hotel. Walking distance in a straight line (450 m) from Termini station, which is one of the biggest stations and has trains, buses and subway to whatever place you wanna go. Around the hotel there’s many restaurants and small shops, and it’s a quiet street. 1,8 km from the Colosseum. We went by walk. The hotel offers breakfast by the price of 7 euros per person, totally optional, but we chose to eat at the hotel and weren’t disappointed. The room is new, probably recently renovated, clean and spacious, very cozy, comfy bed and pillows, wonderful shower, and all the amenities are in excellent conditions. TV, electric kettle, some tea options, a safe, WiFi, air conditioner, fridge and hairdryer. They asked us in advance what type of bed we’d choose. Very thoughtful. The staff is tremendously friendly, we felt like we were staying at a house of a family member. They speak Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want a convenient, comfortable and affordable stay in Rome.

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay here at AGH Babuino. Taxi can stop right in front, without strolling on pebble street and easy access to many eats. just steps from Spanish steps and shops. supermarket and cafe nearby. We arrived on 18 hours flight in morning and glad we can access the room earlier. Room is very spacious , esp. in city center, and linen and towels were clean and beds were comfy. air con was cool and it's important coz it's super hot outside. There's also a pantry in common area.

TThe Black Asian JaThis hotel is very compact but they maximized on the actual accommodation space. My room was on another building and the receptionist who was very sweet, gave me a tutorial with the keys and elevator. If you're not as familiar with Europe as I am, this was am absolutely necessary step. Once I was in, the room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was just as nice. Sitting on the Tiber river, from the hotel, you get a nice view of the river and street below. The room was also surprisingly very quiet as I was unable to hear any traffic once the windows were closed. Breakfast was served in my room at precisely the requested time on my first morning which was tasty and wholesome and for my second morning, I needed to go to the breakfast station on the main building... which was okay. The location is 10 to 15 minutes walk from most of the sites and about 30 to 35 minutes walk from the colessuem. I felt quite safe while walking but still vigilant of course and the reception also gave me a map, showed me how to use and and educated me on the best routes to take to maximize my time. All in all, great room, service and location. I would highly recommend. For improvements though, they could give their guest an oral care set and bed slippers as with many hotels I stayed at on this trip

Mming6144The location is very good, within minutes walk to all the attractions in Rome. Located in the downtown area. Very good shopping. It is the form of a homestay, and you may have to get used to this accommodation. The service staff depends on whatsapp to contact. Can have the best. It should be opened by a young person team.

HHave to travelObjection evaluation: Firstly, the location is great. You can walk to main scenes for around 20 minutes( except Vatican, 40minutes). And the taxi fee from Termini to hotel is 10 euros. Besides, you can take taxi conveniently because there is a taxi station nearby(around 100 meters). Secondly, the “check in” session is not convenient for guests who book this hotel for just several days ago. Because there is not a email with guides and you have to explore everything by yourself. The hotel is in a building, which also contains other hotels. It’s just close to Timberland and Apple store. And you can’t open the gate because it needs a key. Luckily, we met a person who lives there and he let us in. Then you should take the elevator to 5th floor and walk downstairs for a half floor. Now you will find that you don’t have the password to get in. We knocked the door but nobody answered. So we made a phone call and sent our information by sms. And finally, later an employee came out. She is a good person and it seems like that she also does housekeeping. Thus she may not hear our knocking. The room has a beautiful view. But you can hear car horn. There were no free water, slippers or toothbrush. You need to prepare by yourself. And the bath pipe was broken and it leaked a lot of water. Also we couldn’t find the switch for exhausting fan in restroom. That is what I experienced in this hotel. Overall the hotel is fine. Hope my experience can help more people~

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and has a very comfortable room. This would improve the way you can contact: you will learn nothing more to get to the door by a handwritten folder at the street door.
